I cannot recommend Dr. Peterson enough. Had a plantar wart (gross I know) and emailed the doc. He responded within a few hours and before I knew it I had an appointment the next day (today). He removed it for me all the while joking and keeping me in high spirits. He did a fantastic job. Walked out of there in zero pain.

I found Dr. Petersen as a result of his reviews on Unilocal and they were correct. He is an outstanding doctor. He is very charming, talented, and he has a great sense of humor. He took the time in my initial consultation to really examine my foot — unlike another Podiatrist in Placentia I had visited before. He knew just what to do to straighten my 4 crooked toes which prevented me from wearing anything but flip flops. They turned out beautiful! His office staff is very helpful and professional, especially Gabriel. I highly recommend Dr. Peterson for any Podiatry concerns.

Dr. Peterson was amazing. I came in for a ingrown toenail. Something I never had before and had to do research to figure out what was going on with my toe. :(The facility was so humble the Nurse/​receptionist was nice. The process to get my ingrown out wasn’t bad at all, didn’t feel anything. My toe is healing up nicely would definitely recommend for the future for anyone who needs a podiatrist.

Dr. Petersen is an excellent podiatrist and Pacific Foot and Ankle Center is a wonderful office. I recently relocated back to CA and had to find a new podiatrist. I was lucky enough to have been under the care of an amazing podiatrist/​surgeon prior to moving, and lucked out, once again, in finding Dr. Petersen! He is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and has a great bedside manner (including a great sense of humor — something I appreciated while having in-​office surgery under local anesthesia). I highly recommend Dr. Petersen and his office.

My son decided to jump off the top of the monkey bars last summer just weeks before a family vacation to Hawaii. Dr. Petersen quickly had some x-​rays done which revealed two fractures. Dr. Petersen was very patient and friendly with me and my son and everything healed great. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Peterson responded to our email on a Sunday that my husband was in pain and needed an appointment. The Doctor responded immediately and helped by getting my husband in on Monday. Dr. Peterson is not only charming and easy to talk to but also incredibly thorough.
An X-​ray revealed that my husband’s Achilles tendon was inflamed. He also helped with a big toe fungus by prescribing a great medicine that is helping very quickly.
All in all a great experience with a wonderful Doctor!

I have been with Dr. Petersen for a few years now and I am thoroughly impressed with the success of my treatments. His Ladera office is super convenient because I live and work in the area. I highly recommend Dr. Petersen and his staff!

Dr Petersen performed several procedures on my wife’s foot this year. We recommend him highly. He was a consummate professional and runs a very well trained staff. He also was very personable and made you feel very comfortable with his treatments.

Dr. Peterson is such an amazing, caring Doctor. He is passionate about helping his patients as much as he can. He is by far the best doctor I have seen in Orange County! I will always go back to him if I have any troubles with warts or feet problems!!!

Being new to SoCal (lived in North Cali) we didn’t have a podiatrist yet.
I broke a piece of bone off my foot a few weeks ago and needed a foot doc urgently. My wife jumped on Unilocal to look for the best foot doc we could find (according to fellow Unilocalers).
Called Dr Petersen’s office because he had solid reviews here and scheduled an appointment for the following morning.
Result = We are now raving fans of Doc Petersen and he is truly awesome!
He took care of my foot and was patient enough to answer all my questions and give me his honest opinion on wether to have surgery now or wait to see if it healed properly.
Heck… He even made me an american flag soft cast since my injury was a few days before the 4^th of July… lol

Dr. Peterson is the best of the best. He removed my wart from my foot. My foot recovered in three weeks. I can’t even say which foot had a wart. Dr. Peterson is very friendly and make everything easy. Everybody in this office are friendly and respectful. I give 5 star to Dr. Peterson to his profession.

Dr. Petersen performed surgery on my foot today. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. And to top it off he has a friendly and enthusiastic personality. I doubt anyone could do better. Highly recommended!

I had an appointment with Dr. Petersen and was impressed with the way everything went. Everybody I talked to at this office was very friendly and helpful. My appointment was on time and even with getting some x-​rays done I was still finished and out of there very quickly. I assume my foot will eventually be thankful for the visit.
I don’t have a lot of podiatric doctor experience, but from a general visiting a doctor standpoint this was a great office.

Recently my family was in Laguna Woods for a Saturday afternoon wedding. We got into town the Friday morning prior and my dad had been complaining of some foot pain for a couple days already. By Friday night the pain was becoming unbearable. My fiancée did some research and put together a short list of podiatrists in the area including Dr. Peterson. Being Friday evening we of course had to leave a few voicemails and hope for the best. Dr. P actually woke us up at about 6:30 Saturday morning and said that he had a prior function going on early that day and noon would be the earliest he could see us but that he would be glad to accommodate. We made the short drive over from the hotel. Dr. P arrived promptly, with his two kids in tow, no less. We were very grateful he was able to squeeze us in on his day off. He was very friendly and welcoming and overall a real nice guy. He really put my dad at ease, who gets a little nervous when it comes to doctors or dentists as it is. He treated my dad for an infection due to an ingrown nail in about 20 minutes and we were out the door. My dad instantly felt much better and even thanked his kid on the way out for lending us his dad for a bit on a Saturday, HA! Dad said he felt pretty sure he could have hobbled to the wedding but opted to just stay off the foot and relax. We were just glad Dr. P made it possible to even have that option. He is a true professional and delivered a 5 star experience.

I can’t believe how much better my feet are after two visits to Dr. Peterson. After a good 10 years of increasingly painful feet, and expensive creams from a dermatologist, I finally relented and went to Dr. Peterson. I think I put it off for so long because I was afraid it was going to be very painful (which turned out to be a bit uncomfortable but NOT painful).
Well I can’t say enough good about his kindness, professionalism, and ultimately the relief from pain.

Quite disappointed. Went here based on Unilocal reviews but they constantly change appointment times and dr. Twice for first appointment and changed me to their other dr. Today I arrive for my appointment and both doctors aren’t in and they don’t even have my appointment down. Front Office NEEDS to get organized! Going elsewhere

Omg! I was i need of a urgent podiatrist and didn’t know where to look i was in so much pain. thank God for Unilocal I found this humble doctor who has everything in his office X-​rays surgery you name it. he helped me so much in easing my ganglion Im definitely coming back and not going elsewhere I recommend him to anyone who is a local and needs a caring doctor who listens and helps!!!

I had developed my first ingrown toe nail and when I called in the staff were super friendly and Dr. V was extremely personable and did a minimally invasive procedure as I had noticed it early. He was great about explaining everything and fixed my toe without having to take off the nail. Highly recommend.

OK so I’m doing some work in the shopping center where the Pacific Coast Foot Doctors are located and I started reading their store front. They offer all kinds of personal attention and treatment options for just about everything related to the foot and ankle. According to their sign they handle toenail problems, heal and arch pain, ankle sprains, warts, bunions and several other medical problems involving again the foot and ankle. The Doctor I talked with was Keneth Vogen and after he heard what I needed help with I was super disappointed because he can not help me. I was disappointed because while we were talking I could immediately see that this guy
really knew what he was talking about. I could see that he actually cared about my problem. So, I left a little bummed out because I’ve heard from several doctors that I need someone that really specializes in a very small field and it’s starting to sound like a broken record. So, I told you earlier, I was working in the same shopping center as the Foot Doctors. As I’m working I see the DR. Vogen outside the building looking for me. DR. Vogen did some research and found a specialist in the area that can help me. DR. Vogen went out of his way for me knowing that I was not a paying customer. This is what customer service and professional medical care is all about. 5 stars all the way for these guys?!
