Ace Hardware

I am super insulted and I will never go back into Ace hardware again!!! My husband was holding my diaper bag (which I treat as a purse/​wallet/​cell phone inside) and was told me need to leave it at the front. I said no it’s my personal diaper bag not a large shopping bag… she said quickly then you will be escorted out! As a mother I am pissed and offended.
At the end of the day she just had a horrible attitude and could have not been so rude.
We had rope and large items to purchase for our garden. We out it all back and left and found most stuff at long for cheaper.

Excellent customer service. The employee I worked with really took the time to understand my needs and helped me find exactly what I was looking for.

Rude and cluttered.
We stopped in to get a heating pad and ask a question about the parking lot. We walked in and were not greeted and had to wander around to find an associate.
We finally found a woman throwing hoses onto a shelf. I said excuse me may I ask you a question. She just stopped and stared at me. I asked if they had a particular heating pad. She just continued to stare at me. I said it was in a mainland ad and you may or may not have it.
It is a cozy spot heating pad. She said hang on and got on her walkie talkie and asked someone else. They didn’t know either. She asked if it was a «Seen on TV» I said no it is in the normal ACE ad.
I said it may he in house-​wears, I would go look. She said no if anywhere it would be up front. She took back up and said no we don’t have it. Any thing else you want? I said no thank you and left.
As we were leaving I turned around to ask about the pay parking and she was complaining about me asking about the heating pad, so I just left.
Rude, Rude, Rude. The store was also dirty.
