This was an excellent find, we were strolling around Lahaina town trying to find a lunch place and stumbled across Captain Dave’s. I had the fish and chips and the fish was very nice and tasted delicious! The batter was light so you don’t feel like it was unhealty since it was fried, and the fries… well, I’m not a big fries fan, so couldn’t say much about it. My friends had their seafood trio, which was with squid, shrimp, and fish, that was wonderful as well. Will definitely visit them again when we go to Maui the next time!

This is a really small fish stand located in a courtyard off of front street. You would have to look for it, it’s the type of place that gets pass by… but that’s also a local favorite.
Aside from their Fish & Chips… they serve burgers and hot dogs etc. But it’s their fish & chips that is worth ordering. Homemade batter with fresh fish, what more do you want. The fish was surprisingly very fresh and the batter was light and fluffy with a nice crunch.
