Summer and Becky take amazing photos! They are so easy to work with! We had family photos on the beach with 10 people. They captured such great photos of family, beach, waves and sunset in the background. We highly recommend them!

After looking at all the reviews and pictures of photographers in Lahaina — the choice was easy. We loved Capture Aloha’s photos the most. We booked with Summer and Becky. Booking was easy and the communication was great. Was a very easy session with our family of 5. They sent us a few preview shots within a day or so — which was great to see a little sneak peak, and within about a week we received all of our photos online as promised. We ended up with pictures that we will cherish forever!

My family had beach portraits done by Capture Aloha Photography during our Maui vacation, and we were very pleased with the level of professionalism shown by Summer and Becky, from the booking process to the photo shoot at Kapalua Bay, to the timely delivery of the online photo gallery. Both Summer and Becky were a pleasure to work with during the photo shoot. My husband has trouble walking and standing for long periods of time, which presented some difficulty for him in navigating the beach and surrounding area during the shoot, and Becky graciously went to a nearby location to get a folding chair for him so he could sit and rest as needed.
Summer took over 100 shots in numerous poses and backdrops, and every single photo was simply stunning! My 17-​year-​old son (who is quite the ham) is a senior in high school, and Summer did an impromptu senior portrait session for him after we wrapped up the family photo shoot. To say that my son’s portraits are amazing is an understatement; they capture the essence of his personality, as well as his handsome features, against the breathtaking scenery of Kapalua Bay.

Aloha Photography was AMAZING to say the least. Summer and Becky did an amazing job and went above and beyond for us. They made the shoot so much fun, and the photos turned out fabulous. We had our family pictures in Maui this year by capture Aloha photograph. They did a fabulous job with our three year old who has a mind of her own right now. I was hoping for at least one good one of the three of us and we got tons! I would highly recommend them to anyone and will spread the word to my friends visiting Maui for a family trip! Our photo session with Summer and Becky was everything we hoped for. The only problem I have at all is that I have no clue how I am going to pick which pictures to print! I was nervous selecting someone online, but Capture Aloha’s reviews were perfect and the experience was as wonderful as we had hoped. Summer and Becky were great with our two teenagers and now we have some amazing shots to help us remember this trip. You can’t go wrong with Capture Aloha!

We couldn’t be happier with our photographs that Summer shot during our family trip. It’s a rare thing to get both our one year old and four year old to cooperate with taking pictures. We always say it’s like trying to wrestle two alligators! Summer captured shots of our family and we couldn’t be more thrilled! The folks at Capture Aloha did a fantastic job with our family vacation pictures. They were very responsive and worked with our schedule. They picked a location that was easiest for us to get to that was absolutely beautiful. Their personalities and professionalism made the photo shoot go by quickly saving us time to get back to our vacation. The pictures were delivered in a timely manner and unlike most photography companies they allow you to download all the pictures that were taken rather than paying per picture. I would highly recommend Capture Aloha to anyone looking for quality photographers on the island for any occasion.

Would highly recommend Capture Aloha for family beach photos. We were visiting Maui to celebrate my parents’ 50^th wedding anniversary. Becky was very helpful in setting up the appointment and suggesting locations. We chose Kapalua Beach and Summer captured some fantastic pictures of us at sunset– all 8 of us including 2 kids. (Not an easy task!) He knew exactly where to go to get a fantastic background and perfect timing to capture the sunset. Used both natural lighting and flash. We ended up with a great variety of shots. We are very happy with the photos and would definitely use Capture Aloha again next time we are in Maui.

My husband and I were in Maui for our Babymoon, and we booked a last minute maternity photo shoot with Summer. We were so lucky they were available! Not only were they available, but they were also super helpful and flexible — I was so worried about the weather because the forecast was so inconsistent. But Becky was very understanding and patient with my constant emailing and gave us options and back up plans. They took us to 2 different locations, and Becky even helped me pick out an outfit for the shoot!
In terms of the shoot/​experience, Summer was all business. It was perfect. He knew exactly what he was looking for and where he needed us to stand/​look, and gave us great guidance and directions. We felt so comfortable because it was so clear that we were in good hands! Becky was super sweet and made sure everything was in place when it came to my hair and clothes because it was quite windy outside.
We’re definitely going to come back with our baby and try for a family shoot with Summer and Becky!
Make sure to have your trip ready in a separate envelope — I thought we would be able to tack it on to the bill with our final payment, but the option never popped up! I’ll be mailing them their tip. It’s well deserved!

Everything from the initial contact to receiving our photos went absolutely perfect! A destination wedding can be stressful but working with Capture Aloha (Summer and Becky) was a breeze. Becky was quick to respond to emails I sent prior to the day and Summer was able to «capture» our moments beautifully on our big day. We received our photos (conveniently stored on a flash drive and also available to download thru their website) in just 3 days… amazingly fast! You will receive nothing but quality from this duo!

During our family trip to Maui we wanted to capture some wonderful moments with our kids and asked Summer and Becky from Capture Aloha Photography to spend some time one afternoon to do this. The pictures were truly amazing and the way in which Summer and Becky worked with us and our kids to capture the pictures was awesome.
Summer is extremely focused on details and he really looks for the right setting, the right position, the right lighting and the right moment to get the picture. He is also really fun to work with and is extremely flexible — he allowed us to come up with our own ideas as well and worked to accommodate what we really were looking for. He has a great sense for what will turn out well and focused on that throughout the time with us. It was also great that Summer takes so many natural photos where the kids are just playing and having fun — sometimes these are truly the best pictures.
Becky had every detail organized and worked with us before the session and after the session to ensure we got all our pictures in a timely manner and captured the best moments. She was so easy to work with and also made it fun for our kids during the session.
The photos are truly amazing!!! These pictures truly allow us to remember such a very special time in Maui and they make us feel we are right back there on baby beach! We are so happy to have had the chance to work with Summer and Becky!

My family and I were in Maui celebrating my parents’ 40^th wedding anniversary, and we decided to have family portraits taken to mark the special occasion. We chose Capture Aloha because of the competitive prices and stunning photos on the website, and I’m so glad we did.
Summer and Becky were absolutely wonderful. We had a large group (13 people) and our ages ranged from six months to 74 years old. Summer was very patient with the baby and was at ease with the young kids to make them feel relaxed and comfortable. He caught some beautiful shots of us both on the beach and at a grassy spot over looking the ocean. We couldn’t be happier with how beautiful these photos turned out!
Not only were the photos great, but Summer’s communication skills were excellent. He responded very quickly to any email, phone call, or text message I sent. The photos were sent to our house back home and they arrived in a timely manner. Thank you Summer and Becky for a great experience, and for documenting this special time in my family’s life.

My whole family went to Maui for my parents 40^th wedding anniversary and since all 12 of us would be in one spot, we wanted to hire a photographer. After doing some research we decided to go with Summer. From beginning to end I can’t tell you enough how easy and stress free Summer and Becky both made the situation. Becky answered all of the many questions I had and I made the booking process seamless. She was extremely quick to respond to all of my emails.
The day of the shoot Summer was amazing. It’s not easy shooting 12 people including 2 small children, a toddler and a 3 month old baby, but Summer did a great job. He was very accommodating to our requests and the locations we shot out were absolutely stunning.
We received our pictures about a week later and they are absolutely gorgeous! We’ve received many compliments on the colors and the clarity of the camera. You can tell Summer uses a very high quality camera.
All in all, I would recommend Summer to anyone looking for a photographer in Maui, especially a large family. You won’t be disappointed.

My parents invited my family (husband and 2 kids) to Maui for 2 weeks… this also overlapped their 70^th anniversaries, so I thought a nice gift would be family beach pics in Maui. After researching endless photographers, I chose Summer… a tough thing to do considering we didn’t know him and had never been to Maui.
He did not disappoint! Beautiful pictures, reasonable prices :). He and his assistant could not have been nicer! We also got the flash drive with 80 pics within 24 hours, delivered to our hotel:)

We recently hired Summer Whitton to photograph at our wedding and he did and outstanding job. Planning a destination wedding is not the easiest thing in the world when you are unfamiliar with the area and have the disadvantage of not knowing anyone. Summer made the process nice and easy and help make my day as stress free as possible. Not only was he available for a reasonable price he made sure to stay in communication with me throughout the whole process.
It has not even been 2 weeks and he has already reached out to me about finishing up my pictures. I’m glad we got the opportunity to work with him he made us feel 100% comfortable the whole entire time. Hopefully we will be able to work with him again for our 1 year anniversary when we are back in Maui!
