Coconut Condos at Aina Nalu

We stayed at room k107 here at the coconut condos. It was amazing. Perfect location. Close to everything in Lahaina. 10 – 15 min away from Kaanapali. I have really enjoyed staying here. I 100% recommend staying here. I would stay there again.

Very Impressed, Well Done! The family and I just returned home from a one week stay at the Coconut Condos. Stayed in a one br unit and every detail was thought of — chilled facial towels waiting for us at check in, well supplied kitchen equipment, beach chairs, cooler, and well kept grounds. We had choc’full days and truly enjoyed returning to our unit for quiet time or late evening pool sitting, or night walk to Front Street shops.
I had a great vacation and Coconut Condos definitely made the difference. We reserved the unit very late, but still had no regrets about what we paid or received from management.

This is my second time staying at Aina Nalu but my first time with coconut condos. Booking was extremely easy and my payments were split in two so it was very affordable.
First of all, I minus one star for the parking situation. How is it acceptable to charge $ 20 a day for parking when there is tons of parking available and only ten cars actually parked here. There is literally about 100 stalls here. Street parking is rare. There is a discounted parking across the street at the church, but you need a pre-​printed parking pass and it’s $ 10 for 24 hours. If you don’t watch your time, you’re gonna get towed.
My room was awesome. I was in A building, right at the entrance. Whoever is downstairs though has the world’s loudest air conditioning that runs pretty much 24 hours. The ac in our unit had a 6 hour timer so I had to wake up in the middle of the night to reset it. There are two master suites with the living area between the two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms had two twin beds and the other had a queen. There are no bath tubs in the unit, but there are beautiful travertine style stone shower stalls.
The bedrooms, stone showers, bathrooms are fantastic and updated. Free Wi-​Fi is super fast. The living room couch was pretty nasty so I avoided it. The bathroom had a small bottle of shampoo and a tiny soap. There is a full size kitchen fully stocked with cups, plates, utensils, cooking pans, paper towels, dish soap, towels, and beach stuff in the closet.
I really liked it here. I can walk to front street and even Foodland and McDonald’s. It’s very quiet aside from my neighbors blaring ac.
The front desk here is unhelpful if you aren’t an outrigger customer. I asked to print a parking pass and they said no, and told me to go to an internet café down the street and print it out for $ 2.50. I went to office Max instead and paid 15 cents.
This would be a five star if the parking situation was better.

the front door is a walkway. front windows face the walkway, if you want to have sunlight inside the cave, you have everybody looking right in your living room. the «lanai» is a 1′ x 2′ slab of concrete that faces the parking lot. so do the bedroom windows. the pool is nice, except for the nazi guard that wont even let a parent play in the pool with his kids. it’s «against the rules.». nobody will help you here if you’ve rented these units from vrbo or the like «sorry, independent unit, not ours.». coffee maker broke, no biggie right? just call for another one. wrong, nobody answers the phone or returns calls. the floors were filthy. they have air conditioners on 4 hour timers. Gotta get up every 4 hours and turn the knob. ever had a helicopter in your room? c’mon down! you cant turn the air off and open the windows, because you are in A PARKING LOT. A parking lot that you have to pay 20 bucks to park in. Per day. save your money and go somewhere else. ASK questions, and do not believe the listing. better yet, go to the Hana side. now, that is Hawaii. mahalo!

This is our third stay at the Aina Nalu, but our first with the Coconut Condo Mgmt. We would do it again.
Our one bedroom unit gave us so much room compared to regular hotel space. E-​102 was updated, spacious and quiet. Aina Nula is located one block from Front Street, The Wharf, the Banyan tree park. Awesome location in Lahaina.
We had a maintenance issue, called the Coconut Condo number and the maintenance guy was there within the hour. The staff followed up with a phone call to insure all was taken care of.
Renting units not in hotel space is different. You will not get daily maid service but you usually have a washer/​dryer if you really feel like washing the towels. If you dirty the dishes, there is a dishwasher. Coconut Condos does include small bottles of laundry and dish soap. In addition, the ‘owners closet’ has pool & beach items, chairs, boogie boards, coolers. The downsize is the $ cost of parking, it should be included in the costs. Parking in the lot is $ 20 per day, $ 10 across the street and free on the street.

My husband and I found a GEM of a place to stay in Lahaina! Our unit was AWESOME and the pool area with the HUGE outdoor covered area (with a big screen TV) was so great!
You are, literally, a couple of blocks from historic downtown Lahaina, too!!!
We will stay here over and over again!

I’ve stayed at the Aina Nalu both through the Outrigger hotel contract and now through Coconut Condos and I just love this spot.
I’ve never done an owned condo rental and my experience with Coconut Condos has been nothing but smooth!
There’s so much to say… I’m just going to list it out. (note: I’ve only had experience in the 2 and 1 Bedroom accommodations at this location, no experience with the studio size rooms)
Resort pros…
— Great location on Lahaina, lots of places within walking distance
— Great Salt Water Pool
— BBQ Grills and Pool patio for use
— Plenty of parking
— Great amenities in each rooms, all rooms come with stoves, fridge, washer/​dryer combos and kitchen supplies
— Rooms are large and spacious with a living room with pull out sofas
— Living rooms were great for the little ones to run around and play in with A/​C during the hot times of the day. We were here for a wedding the living room was also a great place to have hair and make-​up done in. Lots of space.
Coconut Condo pros…
— You select your actual room and know where on the resort you’ll be located
— No need to stop by the front desk (unless you’re utilizing the resort parking at $ 20/​night)
— Extra supplies in rooms per owner. We were lucky for a room that was child friendly (D109 and D101) that had plug covers, baby bath tubs, pack n plays. Other supplies that were really useful were beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, board games and more. Made our stay with 1 — 4 year old and 3 — 1 year olds much easier.
— Our rooms had keyless entry ways, where we just had to use the 6 digit code provided for us and we were able to customize it during our stay.
— Friendly staff whenever I called.
I would highly recommend this place and Coconut Condos. Thanks for making our stay so much easier and giving us a home away from home. Will come back… hopefully soon!

Our home away from home! I have to admit that staying here was probably half the reason why we had such a wonderful time in Maui.
Even before we left for our trip, we were already rendered one of the best customer service one could ask. Considering that our trip was planned and decided in a span of 24 hrs, the quick and efficient response we got from Lacey as we were inquiring about their properties was outstanding. It was a no-​brainer for us to go and book through Coconut Condos after she has confidently and reassuringly addressed all our concerns over the phone.
Two days later and we were in Maui. Keyless door with a code comes in so handy for a family like ours. We were on the 2^nd floor which meant we had to carry all our stuff through a staircase (no elevators). However, I like high vaulted ceilings and dislike the sound of footsteps above me so I’m glad we were upstairs. Clean, spacious, and well-​maintained is all I can say.
A/​C and fans in all rooms
Kitchen was completely stocked (fridge and dishwasher included)
2^nd bathroom had a washer and dryer with one load of detergent (bring extra if you plan to do laundry)
Each bathroom had a set of basic toiletries
Plenty of bath and beach towels for your entire stay
King size bed in masters and queen in 2^nd bedroom
Pull out couch in living room
The best part? They provide beach toys, beach chairs, a cooler, boogie boards, and a canopy for guests to use while exploring the beaches on the island. Amazingly convenient! Wait, it doesn’t stop there. My daughter opens a drawer in the living room and finds a stash of children’s books, board games, and some movies. How can one not feel right at home?!
Parking however can be improved. There are so many spots open within the property because it’s a whopping $ 20/​day to park. It’s ridiculous to fork out that amount for your entire stay. Yes, it has to be for the entire duration you are there. All in or all out! Lacey says this is Aina Nalu’s policy and not theirs so I can’t blame them for this. Fortunately for us, we were able to find street parking everyday. For those not so lucky, Coconut Condos has an arrangement with a parking lot one block away from here for $ 10/​day.
I highly recommend if planning to stay in town. Front Street, where there are lots of restaurants and shops, is only a 5 – 10 minute walking distance while Kaanapali beach is a 10 – 15 minute drive only. Don’t expect maid service but if anything goes wrong, they have a maintenance line to call. We had a bulb issue and that was fixed instantly. Mahalo!

First the ‘cons’ — $ 20 per parking, not much of a veiw, no maid service. But, if they seem trivial, it is because they are.
The ‘pros’ — easy access to Lahaina. Our 17 year old girls were happy with the close shopping and the town is busy and well lit, so they were able to go out and about by them selves. Our unit (J201) faced the parking lot, but there were a lot of bushes and trees, so we could still sit on the little patio and have coffee. The maid service was kind of a bummer, but the condo was clean and well kept. And, they did provide one box of Tide to wash the beach towels provided (much needed). I’d suggest bringing some along.
The pool area was very nice (both of them) and everyone was very nice on property.
This unit had keyless entry which was a huge plus — no one had to keep track of keys.
The parking prevented this from 5 stars, but there is cheaper parking very close. And, if you can find it, free parking on the street. My husband was very excited the 2 or 3 times we found a space on the street.
We would positivley be back!

A101 is probably one of the best units on property. Centrally located and close to the BBQ grill. The parking lot is nearby also which helps when you haves luggage to carry. I like the fact that you don’t need a key the access code is easier then carrying a key. It was easy to book the unit and the coordination in getting approved was simple and quick. Front street is very close to the condos and the supermarket is 3 – 4 blocks away. The only negative about the unit we stayed in was the fact that there was no cutting board, very important when doing a BBQ, and the frig was really small. Other than that very clean and no issues.

Absolutely loved staying here! It was only two short blocks from Front Street in Lahaina. We stayed in a two bedroom, two bath (D210) and it was very comfortable for four people. It was clean, spacious, updated, and had many essentials saving us money on buying supplies for cooking. The salt water pool is pretty amazing. One dislike, hence one star off, was that the pool closes at 10:00 pm and the security guard, Rodolfo, makes sure no one is even sitting on the lawn chairs after the hour. While on vacation I’d like to quietly hang out and enjoy the evening by the pool. The onsite property parking is steep at $ 20 a day so we parked on the street. We only had to pay for parking one day at the parking lot diagonal from the condos because it was much cheaper. I would definitely recommend this place and will plan on staying here again when I visit Maui.

Loved our stay in unit J201! Stayed with my husband for our babymoon and couldn’t have loved the unit more! It had everything you needed to make your stay as comfy as home! Unit was well kept and updated with granite counters in the kitchen and large comfy showers! There’s even a blender in the kitchen in case you want to make your own piña coladas! The big pool is salt water and so refreshing! Location was awesome, just had to take a 5 minute walk and them you’re right there in the heart of downtown Lahaina where all the shops and restaurants are! If u have a car, there’s free street parking just outside the resort that was easy to find so we didn’t need to buy a parking permit. Had a small issue with the in unit free wifi but Lacey took care of it right away within minutes! There are beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, snorkel gear, umbrella stroller and even a pack n play in the 2^nd bedroom closet which saved us some $ on rentals which was amazing!
Book with Lacey at coconut condos and you can’t go wrong! We’ll definitely be back once our little one is here!

Nice place, well located, units are nice and roomy, pool is great, never seemed too busy.
Booking was very easy, Lacey was very helpful and dealt with small issues quickly and efficiently. We had to change units midway through our stay to get the dates we wanted and Lacey organized for us to get early access to the second unit so that we could move our belongings there.
Would definitely stay again and no hesitation on recommending.

We stayed in a private owner unit which did not live up to the price. However the outrigger facilities were nice. Well manicured lawns and nice clean pools. It could use a fitness center but your in Hawaii go swimming! The parking is a bit expensive $ 20 each day so I recommend going to one of three lots next door. Within a short walk you can find parking for $ 12 a day.
