This was an excellent whale watching tour! The whales are really active! The crew was amazing! One complaint for the whale expert– he was rude, arrogant, condescending and had great opportunities to teach! He needs to remember we are paying customers and you need to teach not brag about what you know and how great you are!
I won’t go on Gemini again!

Gemini Charters is not only the most enjoyable, but they are safety conscience from the moment you board until the moment to leave!
We went whale watching last week … wow! Whales under us, behind us, beside us and in front of us! What I especially appreciated was their own excitement as the whales came in sight as well as the vast knowledge shared about these delightful creatures.
We have used them for over 15 years and each time I am exceedingly thrilled with the delivery! Snorkeling, Whale watching. you name it! You won’t be disappointed, the boat ride alone is an adventure.

Took the Gemini for a Sunset Whale Watch. It was a windy day so it was bit rough but a catamaran seems like the perfect boat to handle it. The crew was great. Very informative about the whales. The only drawback is you have to board from the beach and it is not very easy for older people or younger children. You have a good chance of getting wet while boarding so dress for that possibility.

Thank you Gemini for a great whale watch. Staff was very communicative when it came to the loading and unloading of the boat. They were welcoming and open for interaction which is always a plus. Instead, we were all entertained by Naturalist Jen’s facts about the whales. The microphone to hear their songs was pretty rad. Conditions were perfect for a whale watch that day. Staff were super friendly, helpful, friendly and informative. We had a fabulous experience. Would definitely recommend and hope to take another one of their whale watching cruises in the future.

We went whale watching and snorkeling on this boat. The staff is SO knowledgeable about Hawaii and the ocean/​animals surrounding. We saw some of the best whale breeches I could ever imagine. The staff is friendly and we enjoyed our time on the boat so much!

Great bunch of people. This was our third time in Maui and would have been our third time with Gemini. Unfortunately, the surf was high and they and other boats couldn’t load the passengers for two days from the beach. They happily allowed us to change to a different date three days down and when my wife unfortunately fell sick on that day, they allowed us to cancel and refunded the entire amount. Customer service matters and we will definitely be using them next time we are back in Maui

Amazing tour! Great boat, great view! We saw spinner dolphins swimming next to the boat and jumping in the air (there was even a baby and momma). Then we saw whales tail slapping and head slapping (just amazing)! We did some snorkeling, and then ate a FEAST! I mean more food than we could have ever finished off. The meal alone was incredible!

Always a great trip. Our fifth time on the boat and always an amazing time. Capt. Mike, Jennifer and Serena did a great job. We saw whales even this early in the season as well as a pod of dolphins. Good food and drinks too. We love this boat so much we’re doing our wedding on the boat in 2016.

We recently traveled to Maui for the first time and our 2 hour sunset sail was the highlight of our trip! Our 6 year old LOVED it. The food and drinks were delicious but the crew really made the sail special. They were friendly, fun, knowledgeable and safety conscious. They made us feel like we were on an excursion with friends. Towards the end of our sail, as we were headed back to the beach, we spotted a pod of spinner Dolphins. The crew wasted no time turning the boat to follow the pod to give us all a better look and to experience these amazing creatures up close. It was amazing! Highly recommend.

This is a 4 hour trip and every minute of it was enjoyable. The awesome crew is what made this trip super fun!
We spent the afternoon snorkeling at Honolua Bay and saw beautiful fish, sea turtles and bright colored coral.
On the way back to the hotel we saw a pod of dolphins that were hunting (per the captain). The captain was cool enough to turn the boat around and follow the dolphins so we could really get a good look at them. It was the highlight of the trip.
The trip itself was very affordable and included lunch and unlimited beverages (alcoholic included).

Took the Sunset Sail a few weeks ago. This was our 3^rd time. We first took this cruise in 2010 and loved it so much, we did it again a few days later. The service was just as impeccable. Thanks, Linda and Andy! They constantly refill your drinks and provide great food… spring rolls, chicken teriyaki, chips and guacamole, taro rolls. Longboard is served as well as any drink that can be made with vodka or rum. Champagne is also available. The catamaran has plenty of seating options, including the 2 prime spots over the front of the hulls. There are plenty of options for great pictures as you sail up the northwest coast of Maui. Don’t hesitate… take this cruise befor you leave Maui!

I had a wonderful time on a 4 hour snorkeling excursion with Gemini. The meeting spot was in front of the Westin where we were greeted, checked-​in, and given a quick overview of the day. **The catamaran pulls right up on the beach for you to board, so be prepared to get wet up to about waste high!
There was plenty of room to sit below deck or upstairs. It was a beautiful ride north to the reef that gave us a chance to see some more of the island (and even dolphins and turtles swimming near by!)
The staff went around and made sure that everyone had properly fitting swim fins and snorkels on the way. Once we arrived, they gave us a quick snorkel lesson and even had float belts and boards for the less experienced swimmers/​people who wanted a «lazy» snorkeling experience.
We had about an hour and change to explore the reef. When we got back on the boat, they had lunch prepared and the bar was open. All of the staff on board was extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this and would go back!

We had a great family trip on the Gemini. Beautiful boat with pleaty of room. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Plenty of good food and drinks aboard. This is a top notch operation with excellant customer service.

Gemini Charters was a last minute decision planned with neighbors that surprised us in Maui. We called, my sister called and my neighbors called. We all were set for a Sunday afternoon cruise! This was going to be our last snorkel cruise of our vacation. Suffice it to say, someone in our party fell the day before. The Gemini staff were SO concerned, they called back with a phone number of an MD on the island.
The cruise was phenomenal! We went to Honolua bay and had the BEST snorkeling ever! Even compared to the Caribbean. The food was awesome! The Mai Tai’s were awesome but the staff were FRIENDS. Knowledgeable, laid back and you could tell they really wanted you to have an excellent snorkeling experience but they also wanted you to love and respect the ocean and Maui and sea life as much as they do. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We normally take another tour which leaves from much from a much further location, and at 7 AM which is rough getting the kids up. If you are not looking to dive, but snorkel only this snorkel cruise is for you. Food and beer included! And the staff was great, funny happy go lucky people.

Wir haben durch einen Expedia Specialist in unserem Hotel eine Schnorchel Tour mit Gemini Charters gebucht. Wenn man schon in Maui ist und den wunderschönen Ozean vor sich hat, muss man ihn auch erkundigen! Alles blau soweit das Auge reicht…
Die Tour startet in der Nähe vom Strand vom Westin Hotel und fährt ungefähr eine Stunde raus in eine Bucht namens ‘Honolulu Bay’. Wir hatten 5 Leute in der Crew die uns klare Anweisungen gegeben hat auch für Anfänger beim Schnorcheln. Man hat ungefähr 2 Stunden Zeit um abzutauchen und die Korallen und bunten Fische aus der Nähe zu betrachten. Die Tour war natürlich einfach grandios! Klares Wasser, überall Korallen und lustig-​bunte Fische klein und mittelgroß. Die größte Überraschung war jedoch dass 3 Delfine vor unserem Boot hin und her gesprungen sind und mit uns bis zur Bucht geschwommen sind. Daraufhin haben wir noch eine große Schildkröte gesehen beim rumplanschen und der Tag war dadurch natürlich perfekt! Nach dem Schnorcheln kriegt man ein Mittagessen Buffet mit allem drum und dran. Wir hatten: Huhn mit Barbecue Soße, gebratener Reis mit Gemüse, Chips, Salat, Sandwiches, sowie Cocktails und auch Soft-​Drinks. Nach dem Essen geht die Reise wieder zurück und die Tour dauert ungefähr 4 Stunden.
Es war ein wirklich toller Weg den halben Tag zu verbringen, nur gibt es zwei Warnungen: das Wasser ist nicht sehr warm, daher ist es schwer 2 Stunden lang drin zu bleiben ohne Wetsuit. Außerdem verbrennt man sich sehr leicht auch dem Boot und merkt nicht wie stark die Sonne ist, auch mit Sonnencreme. Also, bitte Achtung! Sonst verbrennt man sich etwas und ich spreche von Erfahrung :-)

This was my 2^nd time on Gemini Charters and once again it was a blast! Captain J and his crew, Jenn, Andrew and Jordan were very welcoming and extremely helpful. We had a great time in Honolua Bay where we saw tons of fish. The weather was beautiful and lunch was outstanding! I would recommend Gemini Charters to anyone looking into a snorkeling trip or sunset cruise in Maui.

Beautiful catamaran with a friendly staff! We had great appetizers and drinks aboard the Gemini. The ride against the wind was adventurous, the ride with the wind was smooth, and the sunset view was of course awesome. They even timed the music with the sunset! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Maui!
