Peter Lik has spent over 30 years pushing the boundaries of fine art. A self-​taught pioneer in the field of landscape photography, he began his professional journey after taking his very first, well-​known 1977 transparency of two intertwined barren trees under a sweeping, blue sky. It was a pivotal moment that would inspire Peter to spend a lifetime exploring all four corners of the earth in search of its most beautiful locations.

Since then, thousands of dedicated collectors and over 300 awards from the world’s leading institutions have marked a successful career. Peter has received the title of Master Photographer from both Professional Photographers of America and the Australian Institute of Professional Photography. He has earned fellowships from the British Institute of Professional Photography, Royal Photographic Society and American Society of Photographers.
