Spa Lelle is a rare exclusive boutique spa in Historic Downtown Lahaina. We have an Avant Garde mission to provide a luxury resort quality experience for the price of a day spa. Our a goal was to create a menu that allows you to know every ingredient in the menu to ensure purity, and quality. We created an in house Apothecary to enhance the guest connection to the islands bounty of exotic plants. Our products don’t just have pretty Hawaiian names, they are authentic. Our Apothecary menu has developed by traveling the Hawaiian Islands to search for Organic and/​or Wild Craft Local Ingredients to fuse with Exotic Ingredients sustainably harvested in Fair Trade from around the world. Spa Lelle operates in a Co-​op fashion allowing spa therapists freedom in scheduling, higher pay, and consistency in luxury experience. Lelle recognizes that better paid therapists give better services. We do not offer the cheapest price, we give you more pampering in our services ensuring the highest value

Aloha, I was trained as a Dual-​Spa Therapist in Massage, and Esthetics Aveda Institute Denver. In 2011 I moved to Maui with my two children with a dream of creating an amazing life for them.

. I worked 2 years as a therapist before opening Spa Lelle. Since the opening I have taken a role of creating synergy between spa therapists, and the roles we play as environmental good stewards, healers, and co-​givers. I continue to expand my education in herbalism, nutrition, and sustainability. I passionately share my knowledge with others.

I met a woman at The Sea House raving about the same calamari I was enjoying. We started talking and it turns out to be Susan, one of the 3 masseuses I had selected from a thorough Internet search. She was very accommodating and we had a fabulous consultation about my needs. In the 2 hours she devoted to my aches, pains and my desperate need to relax, she was the best way to end a vacation. Susan was worth every penny!

Wish I could do a 4.5. Went here for 1 hour deep tissue couples massage. Let me first say the pros. This place had killer availability and a super easy/​user friendly way to book appointments online. We booked massages at 430 for 7pm. The masseuses were soooo welcoming and nice. They listened to everything we said and the massage itself was phenomenal. Hot stones. Glycerin face rub. And I was freezing so my masseuse brought me complimentary heated sand bags. If I was just reviewing the massage would be 5⁄5 stars.
Now for cons:
If you’re looking for stellar ambience this is not exactly it. It’s in a dark plaza next to a BBQ spot. Obviously no on beach massages. Relatively nice inside but not the 5 star Hawaii experience you might get at a resort massage spot but the prices are comparable to it. And they don’t take credit cards. Personally I do not like carrying $ 300 – 400 cash with me.
Overall nice people who distill their own natural oils that they use who are friendly and good at what they do. Just have to have the right expectations.

Best day ever!!!
Spa Lelle is by far the best spa experience on the west side and today was no exception I have been to Spa Lelle several times (I’m a repeat offender!) and I have always had a wonderful, therapeutic, relaxing Amazeballs treatment. The spa itself is gorgeous, despite its humble location, whenever I walk in I am transported, it is truly an oasis– and is also a home to many of Lelle’s (the owner) locally sourced and hand Distilled oils. She does this Herself. Her products truly are one of a kind, hand crafted and all natural.
Lelle’s passion for her work is showcased not only in her oils but in her skills as a masseuse. Having been an athlete for much of my life, I’ve had a lot of people work on my injuries. Lelle has obviously had a lot of training in different modalities and is incredibly skilled and advanced. Her massages are soothing and incredibly therapeutic. She even does auto injuries, which is how I found her spa, after getting run over on my moped
I like that she uses all natural products and has a very holistic approach.
I have been to the spa at the ritz and the grand but have generally been disappointed in some part of the service, but in my many times here I am continually impressed-​Always by the massage, Always by the Service and most importantly, Always by how great I feel during and after

RIP OFF!!! Not sure how or why this place has so many great reviews. I paid $ 145 for an hour massage and would’ve been much better off paying $ 110 at the Westin for a superior experience. It is located in a run down strip mall and the inside of the «spa» is equally run down. The chipped door to my room would not stay closed unless slammed by the masseuse. The blanket on the table was stained. I had booked a 60 minute massage and the owner told the masseuse (who is an independent contractor, not an employee of the spa) that I wanted 90. The masseuse was not sure what the price was and asked me to «hang out» while she got ahold of the owner. Run down, sketchy looking, and unorganized. Would not recommend and would not go back.

When I first called to make the appointment, I was a bit worried. We had forgotten to book our massages after the Maui marathon, so we were having trouble finding open bookings around the island. We found this place on Unilocal,and when I called, they were able to schedule us as 2 massages back-​to-​back (to fit in all 4 in our group). It seemed a bit weird (she told me if they were running late to wait outside until someone unlocked the door), but we were desperate, so I made the appointment.
Once we got there, I was still pretty skeptical. Turns out that this place is more like a co-​op where independent masseurs schedule appointments into one location. There is no greeter on staff and no front office (which is why the door was locked until they arrived to let us in). The strip mall is extremely sketchy with what appear to be meth-​heads hanging around outside the door. Our masseur was late (she had to go move her car, apparently), so we were a bit concerned by having to wait outside the door until she arrived.
Once we got past all of that, the massage itself was pretty great. Both masseurs really cared that we had a good experience. I can’t remember their names, but one of them seemed to give more of a Thai style no matter what you asked for. Not necessarily ideal, but Thai massages are still good!
Note — these massages are CASH ONLY. Be prepared.

My friend and I called the day of around noon and booked a couples massage for 3pm. Honestly, from the outside, I was skeptical. When we arrived and knocked on the door, the masseuse asked us to sit outside and wait a few minutes. Spa Lelle is located in a small business complex where each business owns a small office space. It’s not the most aesthetically pleasing. But when they finally let us in, the place was actually pretty nice! We chose our $ 250 tropical couples massage and they quickly got it started.
Overall, a phenomenal experience. Super relaxed after the hot stone, steamed towel and lavendar aromatherapy treatments. Highly recommend this place!

OK massage, but TOTALLY overpriced. In addition «cash only» policy was not discussed before massage, causing me to have to return that evening after massage, after returniung to my room to get my ATM card, find an ATM, get the cash and return… destroying all effects of the massage. Also, the quoted price was not honored, paid $ 20 more than quoted, and STILL tipped. Regardless. Many resorts have MUCH better service, and at better prices. Do the research and get a real spa treatment for similar pricing.

Update– I find it very upsetting that this business owner has resorted to calling me a lier. Why in the hell would I take the time to create this post? I am a business owner, single mother, President of 2 non-​profits and community service organizer. Why would I do such a thing?
Next– yes this person reached out via text and left one message. I suspect that all of the «restricted» back to back phone calls I received for several days was her. Again, «I suspect». I responded with a text explaining how the appointment was made 2 hours before the actual massage was done. I waited outside on a bench in the court yard as the door was locked because I was told the 2 people working already had appointments. This may have jogged her memory. I reluctantly paid cash of $ 210 for my service.
Next– I explained in a text that I was very busy with work and an event I was putting on and I would be in touch to «make it pono» as this business owner quoted. I was already torn as I too understand that a bad customer review hurts but I stand by my experience. Still I was thinking that maybe I should just let the review go.
Then a day later I get another bunch of «restricted» calls that I was to busy to answer then a text telling me that she is loosing business and it isn’t fair that my comment «chatty Cathy» was a problem for a new girl named Kathy who works there now (after my experience). Well, «Chatty Cathy» was a famous doll I had as a girl and an very well known expression. but still I can understand the concern she has. But again I have been slammed with work and a huge event I put on this past Saturday. So I had every intention of this week calling back the spa and explaining that I understood how a bad testimony could hurt but that I still stand by what I said and I don’t want anything. Really and truly I was going to do just that.
But right in the middle of a client meeting I get a call that I pick up thinking it’s the escrow agent for my clients deal but no, it’s the spa owner telling me that she is glad to finally get me. I explained that I have to call her back and «I assure you that I want to make things right», this is when the spa owner drops on me that «I really want to settle this before I have to file a slander suit»,… well listen here honey. I cut the conversation right there. Dumb move! Unilocal is for opinions and an individual’s experience.. Look up how to sue for slander. I’ve done it and won. you absolutely screwed the pooch now. I don’t respond to threats and your harassment to «try and make things pono» only created more irritation that spurred my decision to stand by my statements. If you simply reached out 1 time maybe twice instead of all the calls and texts I would have taken down my post last week but its clear you are not pono and think that intimidating someone is the way to make things right. I came in with my mom on our vacation to Hawaii and I got a massage from Pa and she got a facial from Lelle. Pa was incredible – she truly cares about making sure your experience is amazing start to finish. She is very talented. I got the vanilla bean massage. Lelle was very welcoming and was amazing as well.
Unexpectedly from the outside, the inside is beautiful and very relaxing.
We would absolutely go back!

Our first couple message experience and it was so good that we will go again. We got the vanilla and pineapple package which included a foot scrub, hot stones, hot towels and more. Our masseuses were very good and overall it was a great experience. Forget about cabana messages elsewhere, here you get much better experience for more reasonable prices. The place itself was very clean and well maintained too.

Best kept secret in Lahaina!
My wife and I were visiting Maui on our honeymoon and were interested in a couple’s massage. We stayed at the Sheraton which has a spa onsite however bad Unilocal reviews put us on the hunt for something better. That’s when we stumbled across Spa Lelle. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They got us in same day, gave us a great hour long massage, and the price was reasonable (for Maui anyway). If you are ever in Maui and in need of a great massage look no further than Spa Lelle! We will definitely be back!

Lelle was more than fantastic. I called her my angel! I had a week in Maui to relax and be away from my high demand lifestyle in San Francisco. The massage was more than I expected. More than what I requested (deep tissue). She took the time to reAlly work on areas of my body that needed the most relief. She also told me about Rolfing and how I should really consider it. When I get back home, I would definitely look that up. I would highly recommended her. Her aura was amazing and she really took her time with me.

Maui has a lot of options when it comes to spa services… We chose this spa going by the Unilocal reviews and how true were they !
This is an amazing place with lots of choices. Lelle and Susan are lovely people. Although the spa in itself appears to be modest but the massage is simply brilliant ! It leaves you wanting for more…
They took our couple appointments in short notice and tried their best to accommodate based on our schedule.
we would definitely recommend it to any one who is looking for a great massage. We will definitely be back to this place the next time we visit Maui.

My husband and I were in need of a good massage. I called all the nearest spas around Lahaina and Spa Lelle was the only place available for a couples massage the same day.
We had Lelle and Mina. They were the best we’ve had. We love getting massages at your typically asian spots back home for $ 40 an hour, but at Spa Lelle it was different. Our masseuses were awesome! They had special techniques we’ve never experienced before. It was very obvious they were well trained and are masters at what they do.
We want to Thank them again for the best experience and making our trip in Maui the best! A definite recommendation and worth every dollar!

I was in Maui on vacation… as you do… and I wanted to have a massage. I checked out the spa close to my resort and was willing to pay the crazy high prices until I decided to check out Unilocal on a whim and see if there were any other spas nearby. I am so glad I did!
Spa Lelle was not only much less expensive, it was amazing! Very calming and the massage I received was perfect. Plus for those who like to support local, small business owners, you can feel good knowing you’ve done your part by supporting Spa Lelle.
Really, don’t get sucked in paying waaaayyy too much for a stress relief when you can get an amazing experience at Spa Lelle, and have enough $$ to upgrade for a 90 minute session. :) Mahalo!

Spent the morning debating if I wanted to leave my resort (Sheraton Maui) to seek a massage elsewhere, and I am so glad I did. In fact, I made a Unilocal account just so I can share how phenomenal my experience was with Lelle.
Besides the fact that the place is tucked away in a strip mall with the ‘waiting area’ outside, it was away to get to with the repeat shuttle. I got the «_​_​_​traveler» massage package, and although labeled as 70 minutes, it literally felt and lasted much longer. I prefer deep massages and this met that request, and she checked in enough about the pressure. In addition, there were salt scrubs, scalp massages, facial treatments and hot stone techniques. Loved it!
I think that was the best massage I’ve ever had! I love supporting local places instead of paying an arm and a leg for a mediocre hotel massage. I got the deep tissue and it was awesome.
Not fancy but super cute and therapeutic. Allow extra time to find the place. They did not mind that I was a few minutes late. They won’t ding my time. So friendly and they treat you like family! I will go back every time I visit Maui!
