Established in 2014.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding is the fastest growing water activity for tourist in the state of Hawaii as well as being the fastest growing sport in the world at this time. In response to this climate, Maui Stand Up Paddle Board Rentals wanted to provide a high-​quality, affordable, dependable, mobile paddle board rental delivery service. Our goal starting out was to spread the sport of SUP and create a brand by connecting with and developing lasting and meaningful relationships with like-​minded people who already share or will soon share a love for the sport of stand up paddling and its associated lifestyle. Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast, fitness enthusiast, or are just charmed by the lifestyle aspects of being a part of the surf cachet of a sport which is different, cool, and has deeply rooted ties to Hawaiian culture and tradition, Maui Stand Up Paddle Board Rentals is dedicated to providing its customers with the cheapest and easiest way to becoming part of this phenomenon.

The guys were great to rent from! We called in the afternoon and were able to schedule for a delivery of three boards for the next morning. They came right to our hotel and helped us get the boards to the beach. Very friendly, helpful, and nice to work with!
A downfall is that we were definitely beginners and probably shouldn’t have gone out where we did. So in hindsight I do wish we would have addled about the best place for beginners.
The day rate is $ 45 so if we had been better and spent more time out paddling it would have felt like a steal.
All in all, we are happy we can say we tried it — but wish we were a bit more coordinated!

My family and I were in town over the Christmas Vacation and these guys delivered them to our hotel and picked them up for us free of charge. The boards and paddles were reasonably priced and in great condition, not to mention that the staff is very helpful and understanding. Some of the boards even have goPro mounts on them already in case you wanted to document your trip!

My fiancé and I rented two stand ups from Maui Stand Up Paddle Boards and it was a great experience! They delivered the boards to our condo and picked them up 3 days later at a time that was convenient for us. The delivery/​pick up service is great and the guys who own the company are very helpful and will teach you how to use the equipment properly if you need them to. The staff is punctual and the equipment is in good condition, can’t complain!

Have fun!!! These things are so easy and so much fun. My husband and I had a BLAST paddleboarding in Napili!!! Make sure you wear a hat and a rashguard because you will get burned out there.

My husband and I did a stand up paddle boarding lesson with Jason this week and it was great. Makena landing is a great place to learn and Jason is patient and knowledgeable, and gave my husband great tips on how to relax and get up on the board. The added gopro photos was a great addition and he got some sweet shots of us with a giant sea turtle. Such a nice momento of a great morning. Mahalo!

They were outstanding throughout the whole experience. My wife and I had never done SUP before, but were very eager to try. They explained the whole process to us well before booking and put us at ease knowing that it was a private lesson for the two of us. The day before we were supposed to go out, one of this summer’s hurricanes was lingering off the coast making the waves a bit difficult. They called us and offered to switch locations or wait and see if things changed. We switched locations and couldn’t have been happier. We got to see a beautiful area of Maui from the water and have a great morning out on the water. Our instructor was fantastic and very patient with us as we learned and improved. We definitely got hooked and can’t wait to do it again. If we’re back in Maui we’ll definitely use Maui Standup Paddle Board again.

If you’re wanting to paddle board in Maui, rent from these guys! All it took was a simple phone call to arrange and they dropped off the boards and paddles to our hotel (Hyatt). We got some quick pointers and we were off! The boards and paddles were good quality (as compared to some we’ve rented before in other waters), we stored them overnight with the hotel bell stand and were able to use them again the next morning. (At our hotel, it was easy to find the boards a resting place along the walkway while we stopped for a bite or to relax between outings!) You really get your money’s worth this way renting for a full 24 hours. Easy to book, great customer service, quality rentals=five stars!

Renting from this company was so easy. The equipment that was delivered was brand new and delivered right to our door. Lincoln gave us a quick overview on how to use the paddle boards and we had a wonderful experience as we could see the coral and fish beneath us. We rented the boards for our last 2 days in Maui, and it enhanced our vacation. When we were done, Alex was there to pick up the boards at exactly our prearranged time. I will rent from this company again the next time we are in Maui.

Alex is fantastic. Super accommodating about the place and time of where to meet for the drop off and pick up. He answered his phone right away each time we called. He was there early already with the boards on the grass ready to give us a quick guide. I’ve SUP’ed a few times in LA but these were by far the nicest boards I’ve been on. We rented for 24 hours so we were able to board all afternoon and the next morning for an hour before Alex came.
You should think about storage if you plan to rent over night. We stayed at the Sheraton Maui which has a storage locker by the tennis court that the bell hops have access to (thanks Alex for the heads up). If you’re staying at a hotel, consider calling the front desk to ask the same. These boards are 10ft so won’t fit in my elevators — and you wouldn’t want to bang them up by trying to carry them up stairs.
Again, A+ service, we had a lot of fun.

Rented a SUP from Maui Stand up Paddle Board Rentals for my Maui vacation. An easy experience to get a reservation; one phone call. They scheduled a time with me to deliver the SUP to my resort, it was convenient based on my schedule. I had the SUP for several days and enjoyed paddling all over the Kaanapali Beach area. The SUP itself was in great condition and could tell was well cared for. I had other paddle boarders in the water, on other rented boards, ask me where I got mine! These guys are great to do business with and will definitely rent a SUP from them next time I’m on Maui.
