Eclectic little bookstore tucked away in a small space just off Front street. The narrow aisles and packed shelves made this a fun place to browse. Section titles were interesting and quirky: UFOs, mythology, baseball, cats… you name it!

Lovely, lovely used bookstore with an impressive range for such tiny premises. Owner was sweet, if a little vague, and very knowledgeable. Bonus: this place has witty section titles, e.g., a shelf entitled«General Paranoia» for conspiracy theory nutjob books.

Quirky. Fun. Narrow aisles. Overstuffed shelves. B&N this ain’t, but corporate stores have never been this much fun to browse. The day we were here, a guy was standing in one of the narrow aisles painting. I mean a beach scene on a canvas, not the walls. Need a paperback for the beach? How about a text on fishing in Hawaii. Go here, browse, and buy.

Wonderful bookstore! This was a surprise find for us, as we were a little shell-shocked by the touristy Lahaina strip. We were able to detox in this lovely bookstore for a while to clear our heads of the bad vibes. I definitely recommend stopping in here if you are in Lahaina. The shop owner was knowledgeable and helpful and I can’t even begin to describe the wonderful labyrinth of books. Well worth a visit.

This place is a great find, especially if you’ve taken the ferry over from Lanai, which has no bookstore and a really slim book selection in the shops and libraries. My husband found a great hard cover biography here on Lincoln that turned out to be the most acclaimed modern biography of him. He really enjoyed it. I, on the other hand, picked up a paperback Volume I of Sherlock Holmes mysteries and loved that. And, it’s all incredibly cheap. Stop by, browse and enjoy!

Isn’t it more comfortable to read a nicely worn book on the beach? One that you know many readers before you devoured just like you’re doing now. This little book shop is way more fun, eclectic and cheap than the chain bookstores on the island. Interesting mix of stuff. Huge selection of beach reads and more serious stuff too. I had a ball browsing around in here. The proprietor is a lovely lady with great taste in jazz. Check it out!

I love used book stores! And there was plenty to love here. I came away with some real gems and left scrathing my head thinking how did they get a hold of a copy of Robert Leaches’ «The Chiropractic Theories»? In any event, I left only a few dollars lighter and several volumes richer. Other than the red Hawaiian salt, these may have been my best finds on this trip!
