GracieR is an interior styling firm specializing in the re-​purposing, re-​designing, re-​decorating and re-​inventing of both individual furnishings and entire spaces.

Rooted in an anti-​consumerism philosophy, my intention is to provide an alternative to the «buy and dispose» lifestyle that currently dominates our society. Well-​made furnishings are capable of multiple aesthetic lives, and a room can be completely transformed through creative manipulation alone.

Whether it’s breathing new life into a long-​loved piece with a little bit of paint, thrifting for a few «renewable» decorative elements, re-​arranging furniture, or styling your room for an event, you can be sure to find me there, donning high heels and with a big smile across my face!

Established in 2012.

What began as a personal creative pursuit of restyling furniture in 2011 blossomed into a full interior styling firm in 2012.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Gracie’s career began at the tender age of seven in the world of theater. Working professionally as an actress and model all the way through high school, she took a turn in college and decided to pursue a new passion — philosophy (more specifically, aesthetics and metaphysics). Gracie graduated Magna Cum Laude with her B.A. from Lake Forest College.

She then went on to take position as the business manager of her father’s painting, decorating and finishing firm (Ragsdale, Inc.). In need of a more personal creative outlet, she began restyling vintage furniture in 2011, a business that soon gave way to the launch of a full interior styling firm in 2012.

Gracie’s creativity, passion and principles are the guiding force of her operation. Gracie’s work is about a whole lot more than just the room or the piece. It’s about a way of living, thinking and creating consciously.
