I can’t believe this restaurant closed. The Stacked Kouzzina Breakfast was hands-down the best breakfast dish I have ever had. You will surely be missed Kouzzina.

Great dinner last night. We had 6 adults and 5 kids. Our server, Rashid, was phenomenal. Very attentive and caring. The chef came out to talk to us about food allergies and substituted as needed. We started out with calamari, spanakopita and saganaki. The spanakopita was my favorite. For dinner, we had pastisio, cinnamon chicken, fisherman’s stew, fish and pork tenderloin. Everyone loved what they ordered. We were actually too full for dessert, but the kids meals came with make your own cupcakes and they loved them.(Also, allergy free brownies, make your own, for those that couldn’t eat the cupcakes). Great service, great food. Very sad they are closing at the end of September.

Quite a discovery I made as this is Cat Cora’s restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Fantastic breakfast. The American breakfast was a great selection, plenty of food. French toast was fantastic especially paired with their white Sangria. Nice interior with walnut, copper pots, soft lighting. Fairly quiet and a nice crowd. Restaurant is in the Disney Boardwalk. If you enter the boardwalk from the Vacation Villas, it is just to the right. If you enter by Dolphin, it’s across the pond(just past the Vacation Villas). If you just deboarded from the boat, go left. Price was commensurate with the quality and ambiance. Not expensive but pretty reasonable for Disney. I imagine reservations are required for dinnertime.

Kouzzina is one of those rare establishments that’s offers both a fun dining experience and fine food. The restaurant is a large open space and almost every table has an view of the kitchen which hustles and bustles with activity. The chef’s are shouting orders to each other as fire leaps from their skillets and the staff yells out OPAH! Dinner starts with an a bread course witch consists of a small selection of olives, two olive oils and a nice crusty bread. I wouldn’t describe the wine list as being extensive but they do have a varied selection including some nice white’s and reds from California’s Russian River outside of Napa that are very nice and reasonable priced by the bottle or glass. The menu offers a selection of Greek/American dishes with a southern flair representing Cat Cora’s influences. On one of my visits here Cat Cora was in the restaraunt and I was fotunate enough for her come by for a short visit which was a highlight of the evening. On my most recent visit I started the meal with an appetizer of Saganaki which is Greek Cheese, Oregano garnish and lemon wedge. It was entertaining to watch the kitchen prepare it as it made quite an explosion of flame. It arrived at the table still sizzling and was a delicious treat. For the main course I ordered Oak-fired Pork Tenderloin which is served with Smoked Tomato Relish, Feta-Zucchini Spoon Bread, and Seasonal Vegetables. I tend to shy away from pork in restaurants as most tend to over cook it and it comes out very dry. This was the exception. The pork was tender, juicy and succulent. The spoon bread was a fantastic accompaniment which I enjoyed as much as the main course. Kouzzina is far from resort food. It is fine dinning and would be 5 stars in my book no matter the venue. The next time you visit Walt Disney World do yourself a favor and stop by for a meal at Kouzzina.

Cat Cora. First Female Iron Chef. Grew up in Jackson, MS with Greek Grandparents. That is the story that introduces you to Kouzzina. Nestled away in the Disney Boardwalk Complex, this is eclectic Southern inspired-Greek cuisine. We ordered the baked goat cheese with roasted red peppers and artichoke hearts, the kouzzina spread with hummus, eggplant spread, and tzatziki, and two sides of sauteed brussel sprouts and herbed orzo. The goat cheese was yummy, the spreads were tasty– hummus, and tzatiki preferred. The brussel sprouts, a new finding for me, were SO delicious. The brussel sprouts are sauteed in brown butter, with capers and topped off with cheese. It adds a very nice finish to the brussel sprouts. The orzo was also a very good addition to the brussel sprouts. This was a good meal. I recommend everything we got… and maybe 2 orders of brussel sprouts.. . Give it a try.

Never know theme park food could be so good. Would like to revisit Kouzzina if I have the opportunity. The lamb shank was awesome. I’ve had many lamb shank that’s been cooked so long that all the fat rendered out of it. This made the shank dry. Kouzzina’s lamb shank is tender, flavorful and cooked just right. Enough fat remain that each bite melts in your mouth. The Greek lasnga for kids was so good that I wanted to trade with my kid. Wanna RTE!!!

WOW! Let’s start by saying I had probably the BEST steak I have ever had and it was right here in this amazing Greek/Mediterranean restaurant. This is owned by Iron Chef Cat Cora. Not quite sure why the average reviews aren’t higher as this was easily a 5-star experience for us. *Be sure to book a reservation as they fill up quickly and walk-ins could have a bit of a wait. We had a reservation and showed up 20 minutes early and were seated right away. We started with a pitcher of sangria(great value compared to paying for drinks individually) and it was delicious! We had the steak and also ribs for dinner and couldn’t be more happy about our decision. The waitress was very honest and helpful with her opinions on what to order when we asked for her input. They were right! The deserts are fantastic as well! The Baklava and Chocolate Budino cake were delicious and could of easily gone back for more! Great service, food, and atmosphere! We can’t wait to go back again.

For some reason Cat bothers me when I watch Iron Chef, but eating at her restaurant has changed my opinion of her. The ambiance is great, with a beautiful open kitchen and interesting accents. It’s weird going to an upper-end restaurant in Disney because things are more relaxed and family friendly. It makes sense, and the blend works, but it wasn’t what I expected. I got the roasted goat cheese appetizer: amazing. Hot, artichoke hearts and olives, it was amazing. Eat it. For dinner I got a seafood stew with muscles, scallops, shrimp in a tomato based sauce. The meat was just barely over cooked, but it was rich and tasty enough to make up for that. Overall, my experience was enjoyable and I recommend this place.

It was late, and I came here with my friend Roger and his 2 friends from Japan. He recognized Cat’s name, and decided to try this place based on reputation. It lived up to the name. We share the appetizers and we got our own entrees. The Spread was enough to share, but not to fill up on. I had the fisherman’s stew which was excellent. Not too salty, and had plenty of seafood. The server we had was a older lady, very matronly, but was very good with her advise. She came back frequently to fill up our drinks, and service was spot on. One of our group members ordered a steak, and wanted it rare. It came out medium, and the server took it back before we could protest, and came back with it perfectly done the second time. Dessert was excellent, but the salty cheesecake was a bit weird, and we didn’t really enjoy that. Overall, a Thumbs up. Excellent value for the dining plan people.

Kouzzina by Cat Cora is located at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. It is Mediterranean and Greek style food, which in my opinion is a fabulous combination. Throw in an Iron Chef and what more could you ask for. Well I forgot to mention they know how to serve up the BEST breakfast and a delicious dinner. Most restaurants are good at one or the other but not both. I have eaten breakfast here at least 10 times, but last night I went here with friends for dinner for the first time. I still favor their breakfast over the dinner but would recommend either very highly to anyone who is in town visiting the Mouse. It is by far my favorite place to eat breakfast anywhere in the USA. TIP: As with all Disney Table Service restaurants it is best to make reservations at least a few weeks prior to you planned visit and in the busy season, make them months ahead of time. Here are all the menu items I have tried: Warm Honey-Pecan Cinnamon Roll(Josh LOVES this one) Seasonal Fruit Bowl– which is massive(Conner’s Favorite) Turkey Sweet Potato Hash(Everyone’s Favorite) Stacked Kouzzina Breakfast with Chicken Sausage Spinach, Tomato and Feta Scramble Blueberry Granola Pancake Crisp Calamari and Lemon Kouzzina Spreads Kouzzina Trio –Greek Lasagna, Lamb Burger and Cinnamon stewed chicken I am one of those weird people who take photos of their food. So check out just how yummy Kouzzina’s food looks! In summary, the atmosphere is nice, service is on par with Disney expectations, you get to walk on the Boardwalk afterwards, and the food is great. It is not the most budget friendly dinner and reservations are highly recommended.

I ate here because the person I was with loves Iron Chef. A TV show should not be the basis for a dinner decision, but what can you do? First, can anyone out there explain why I have to show a Mouseketeer/“Security Guard” at the gate a photo id to get on the grounds? It’s not like he’s checking it against a VIP list. Listen up, Disney — this is ‘Murica and I shouldn’t have to flash an ID at Disney’s answer to Paul Blart to eat at an overpriced, middling quality restaurant. Freedom from Mouse tyranny now! Rant over. So, this is Cat Cora’s place — in the battle for Joanna T’s stomach, will Iron Chef Cat Cora reign supreme? Allez cuisine! App: B Trio of spreads — hummus(good), eggplant(gross) and tzatziki(amazing). Wine: C A good by the glass list but way short on descriptions and our server was no help. When asked if the Celebration Cuvée was a brut, he didn’t know and described it as «well, it’s not dry but not sweet». Thanks, pal. Entrees: C I had a steak that was tough but topped with«herb saltsa» ie chimmichurri — the sauce was amazing and a little spicy. For these prices, I do expect that I shouldn’t have to saw my steak apart. The person I was with had whole fish, which she said was good. Service: F Our server had the personality of a paper plate. And he was sloooooowwwwww with everything and didn’t check back on us at all. Central Casting really didn’t do their best work with this guy. Overall: C I’m led to understand that this is one is the best«Disney restaurants» which makes me sad for all those who vacation there. It wasn’t terrible but it sure wasn’t great. Also, I’m pretty sure the Chairman would be displeased with the review Iron Chef Cora earned. They need a new Secret Ingredient — how about adding some Bobby Flay?

This resturant is a must stop. This was my second tine in disney world and i made sure i came back here for the second time. I ordered the mega berry smoothie and Pork tenderloin for the main entrée. The pork was tender but the wine sauce that came with it made the dish. It was sweet with a kick and I dipped everything in it! As for the smoothie, it was nice and refreshing. Overall I enjoyed it again and will be back the next time I’m back in Orlando.

This is a great place to come for brunch. It has a nice atmosphere and a well-rounded menu for everyone. Along with a cup of hot green tea, I ordered the Classic Golden Waffle. The waffle came with whipped mascarpone cheese, honey, and chopped pecans. I asked the waitress to hold the whipped cheese and honey to rid myself of some of the calories. The waffle was nothing to brag home about, which is probably due to me holding most of the toppings, but it was good enough with the maple syrup. I had some of the Blueberry Granola Pancakes and they were wonderful. I wish I had ordered the pancakes over the waffle. The blueberries were very warm and sweet, totally complimenting the granola pancakes. Our waitress was slow, so I do recommend that the improve the service.

For just one dining credit, you can enjoy delicious Greek food inspired by Iron Chef Cat Cora. Kouzzina is definitely one of my favorite places to eat at Disney World and is located at the Boardwalk resort area. I’m surprised I didn’t write a review after my first time eating here a couple years ago. I returned with Ken L. and another friend over the weekend for dinner. Everything was exactly how I remembered. I had reservations for 6:30 p.m. but wanted to see if we could get an earlier reservation time since we were running the Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon later that evening and needed to get back to our resort to get ready. The staff was very nice about this and accommodated our request. Now for the food… with this being Iron Chef Cat Cora’s restaurant, you’re going to have high expectations and Kouzzina does not disappoint. As soon as we sat down, we were brought out fresh bread and olive oils. I especially love fresh, warm bread so it was difficult to stop eating the bread and filling my stomach before my entrée arrived. My friends and I ordered the following: — Kouzzina Trio(Tasting size portions of Greek-style Lasagna, Char-grilled Lamb Burger, and Cinnamon-stewed Chicken with Orzo) — Oak-fired Pork Tenderloin(with Smoked Tomato Relish, Feta-Zucchini Spoon Bread, and Seasonal Vegetables) — Wood-grilled Steak(With fresh Herb Saltsa, Seasonal Vegetables, and Kouzzina Potatoes) For dessert, we shared the following: Galaktoboureko — Semolina Custard wrapped in Phyllo with Honey Syrup Greek Cheesecake — Cheesecake with Seasonal Fruit Compote — No sugar added. Chocolate Budino Cake — Warm Molten Chocolate with Seasonal Sorbet Overall, we had a wonderful time at Kouzzina and enjoyed the food very much. I would definitely recommend trying the Kouzzina trio and Greek cheesecake.

I’m giving Kouzzina a solid 5 stars. For one, they accept the Disney Dining Plan and it is only ONE credit to eat here. Are you serious? I was expecting it to be two, as it is on par with signature dining at Disney. I ordered a baked goat cheese appetizer that was positively sinful. The only thing it could have used was more of that delicious bread to spread more cheese on. Of course, before it was delivered the waitress gave us the good idea of just eating it with a spoon(as she says she does, on occasion). Next, I ordered the short ribs because, well, I couldn’t get enough short ribs on this trip, apparently. They were served with baby broccoli and a feta mashed potato. The mashed potatoes grew on me, as I am not a fan of feta and these were like feta pureed. The broccoli was delicious and tender. He ordered the Fisherman’s Stew… which I was envious of, but since I cannot eat scallops(a travesty, I know), I had to pass. It was gorgeous and filled with all kinds of seafood. I found out later that they make everything separately(not in the same pot), so I could have ordered it without scallops and been golden. You live, you learn. For little kiddo, she ordered Mac n Cheese with baby broccoli. When she got a small portion(just because she is 5 doesn’t mean she eats half of what a 10 year old eats), she inhaled it and asked for more. She got a big bowl of mac and cheese after that, no charge. This was absolutely my favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World Resort. I cannot believe this place is not more popular. Those who like eating from buffets… well… this is not for you. This is good food in a nice setting. The service was impeccable. We had team service with two very gracious and attentive servers. They were not only extremely friendly, but they were knowledgeable about the food they were serving. It was greatly appreciated. Kouzzina will definitely be on the list(maybe for multiple meals) on next year’s trip to Walt Disney World Resort.

Unfortunately, the great entrees could not make up for our total experience at Kouzzina. We had an 8:30pm reservation on a Sunday evening. We got there a bit early, a little before 8:15, and asked if there were any open tables. The hostess said she would check, but we should be in by our reservation time. OK, getting there early was on us, so we were fine waiting, just not waiting, and waiting, and waiting. We had to ask the hostess at least 4 – 5 times how much longer while we waited, and saw large tables unoccupied for more than 20 minutes at a time. Long story short, we were finally seated, around 9:30pm. We weren’t alone in that either, there were at least 3 other families that had the same thing happen to them. Once we got inside, our server was attentive. She got the kids in our group started on food right away, and she brought the appetizers out very quickly. The calamari was just OK and the saganaki was pretty standard too. The main course was fantastic though. I had the pork tenderloin(at the recommendation of someone we met while waiting for our table), and it was phenomenal. My husband had the spare rib, and that was great too. The wine list was good, and we ended up with a delicious white with our appetizers and a great red for dinner. As for dessert, I had the fried donuts and they were tasty, though nothing amazing. As far as I’m concerned, there is no excuse for such a wait with a reservation. What made it worse was that the hostess kept insisting it would only be «another 5 – 10 minutes.» The only thing that kept us from leaving is not knowing if we could get into another restaurant any faster. I’d stay away from here.

This review is for breakfast only. I wish I could have tried their dinner menu, but unfortunately, I’ll have to wait until my next visit. I wandered in to Kouzzina from the Dolphin hotel where my husband was attending a conference. I walked in as a party of one around 9am on a Monday and was told a 30 minute wait. For breakfast!!! Well, it must be good if people are waiting that long, so I sat down and was ready to wait it out… only to be buzzed 4 minutes later. Was that a test? If so, I suppose I passed, and was led to a nice table right next to the open kitchen. Two things I love at breakfast are good coffee and smoked salmon, so I ordered the special French Press coffee and the House Cured Salmon platter. The coffee was delicious and the best I had that week at Disney. The salmon platter was a revelation. House cured salmon with a lovely lemon flavor, sitting atop sumac-infused pickled onions. Served with feta cream cheese drizzled in extra virgin olive oil, next to a perfect soft boiled egg, oven-dried tomato, and a freshly toasted pita. It was my favorite breakfast elevated to a new, Greektastic level. It was so amazing, I made reservations for the next morning and dragged my husband there. He was a willing participant who greatly enjoyed his raspberry smoothie and fig French onion toast topped with sautéed apples. This may have been one of my favorite breakfasts of all time. I don’t love Disney, but I would go back in a heartbeat if I could eat at Kouzzina every morning. Now back to my kitchen to figure out how to cure my own salmon and make feta cream cheese…

It pains me to give the restaurant where I had the best calamari of my life three stars. So, let’s start off with the good. If you are in the vicinity of Walt Disney World and you love calamari, you need to get yourself to Kouzzina. Yes, need. It’s that good. Fresh squid, light tempura-esque coating, with a subtle lemon flavor cooked into the batter and fresh lemon slices fried alongside make this calamari epic. The other food offerings were solid. The baked goat cheese dip is ooey-gooey deliciousness, if a bit small of a portion. The grilled meats on the mezze platter were fantastic. I ordered this appetizer platter as my entrée, and it was more than enough for a generous dinner. I particularly liked the prawns, which come three to the skewer. They were perfectly cooked, and the spice rub was flavorful and spicy. Unfortunately, the service was abysmal. We had a reservation, but still had to wait 15 minutes for our table. Then, our server only appeared at the times she absolutely had to — take orders, deliver food, deliver checks, return checks. And the spaces between those times was annoyingly long. As a party of just two adults, we should have been one of her easier tables for the night, but instead we got the short end of the service stick. The food here is a solid four, but the service drags down the rating, just like it did my night.

Eating breakfast alone is maybe not everyone’s perfect start to a day at Walt Disney World, but for me it was! My absolute favorite restaurant for breakfast at WDW is the Whispering Canyon Café, but if you’ve been, you know that it would simply be no fun to go there by yourself. I decided to treat myself to a nicer breakfast for my one day at WDW, and since I’ve always wanted to check out the Boardwalk area, Kouzzina was a perfect fit. When I arrived around 9am, they had no problem finding me a table for 1 without an ADR. I sat on the bench next to the hostess stand for approximately 45 seconds before ushering me over to my table. I waited about 5 minutes before anyone said anything to me, and when you’re dining alone that can seem like an eternity. But then I noticed that the gentleman who had seated me was having a chat with a server and gesturing in my direction. Brad, a server from a different section, came to my rescue. He took my order and delivered my coffee. My «real» server, Jennifer(I think?) was around, but Brad was the one who really ended up taking care of me. I only waited a few minutes before my french toast arrived at the table. I was sold on the fact that fig was included in this dish, and it didn’t disappoint. I really enjoyed my breakfast, probably my only complaint is that it was a little too sweet for my taste. Jennifer got me some more coffee to-go, and I was leaving the table only 45 minutes after I sat. This was perfect timing for me! On my way out I was sincerely thanked for my business, and I had a quick chat with the manager(Not sure if that’s right, he was in a nice suit!) about what I was doing today. This must be the Disney touch… from start to finish, even though I was alone, I felt welcomed and like«family» in this restaurant. Next time I’m in WDW I will absolutely be visiting Kouzzina again!
