Came to brunch with grandma and the bf before leaving back to NOLA. Grandma ordered the Belgium waffle, bf ordered the brunch platter and I ordered the strawberry and cream French toast. We also ordered bloody Mary’s and mimosas. On the menu it said it was their own secret recipe but it turns out that it’s Zin Zang bloody marymix. I had to ask for Worcestershire and Tabasco sauce to make it taste better. One of the dishes they forgot the bacon but our wonderful and attentive server Milana made sure we got everything. She was very nice and very sweet. She is the best. The food was good and the service was great!

Normally I really enjoy eating here, but the last few times I’ve visited its been disappointing. They have been fairly short staffed which reflects in the quality of food from the kitchens. If you plan on ordering a steak, either order it one degree below what you usually would or really stress how you want it cooked. Two bad steaks in a row means I won’t be going back for awhile.

My boyfriend’s favorite place to eat when we go to Lake Charles, and for good reason! Steaks are tender and flavorful. Burgers taste great and have super fresh ingredients. Service is usually very attentive, though you may get forgotten about every now and then on a busy night. Wait times are about average but can sometimes be a tad lengthy. But when the service is good, you don’t really notice! Good coffee and desserts, too! Pretty much anything you order off the menu is guaranteed to taste good, or even great. It’s a popular restaurant, so it’s usually pretty crowded and noisy inside, but the atmosphere allows for that. It really is a fun place to go!

This is my favorite chain restaurant. The menu selection is good and the food is usually cooked perfectly and as requested.

Food was okay but the service was horrible. The girl looked she was rushing us, forgot to refill drinks and we had to get her attention while she was chit chatting with other servers, she even drop our bill while my grammie was still eating and didn’t ask us if we wanted anything else and that kind a pissed me off since I’m a server myself. Went in for brunch with the family and I had Cedar plank Salmon which was soooo overdone to the point that the cedar wood is so dark and it made the Salmon fish bitter. I was gonna bring it back to have another one but I’m not gonna wait another 30 plus minutes. The rest of the family had breakfast food which were okay and nothing spectacular. I really wanted to like this place so maybe we will try it again.

Pitiful!!! Pitiful!!! Pitiful!!! Service was HORRENDOUS! Waiter forgot everything over and over. Food was so below mediocre. Nothing like we expected. Will NOT come back! Then, after part of oir meal.was.sseved veru late and order was wrong… he QUICKLY brought us our ticket and asked if we wanted to go boxes, but still forgot to serve the missing remainder of our meal. So, he brought us to go boxes with the remainder of our meal In togo boxes! Mind you, we didn’t complain or make a scene. we merely. requested our food with the corrections. So disappointed.

its your standard fair of a chain. I had a spicy chicken sandwhich, it was pretty good. Wife had clam chowder and salad. she loves their chowder. I will say the service was very good and the waitress was very nice and never let our waters get empty.

We love this place! Stop every time we’re in Lake Charles. Chicken tenders are amazing. Also Adam is the best waiter I’ve ever had. Have had him 3 times now and he is so nice and attentive.

Service– our waiter was very good. He was pleasant and was attentive. He’s the only reason this place gets two stars. Food– I ordered the bacon and bourbon filet. First, it was cooked incorrectly by a long shot. Then, 10 minutes later, they finally came and asked how it was. I sent it back to be cooked more and when it came back I started cutting into it only to realize it was not a filet at all. It had fat marbling all through the steak, probably 60% fat. The asparagus I had on the side was EXTREMELY salty, almost unbearably so. In summary, the food is subpar and the waitstaff is average on the whole. I won’t be returning.

Ok– at 7:00 I waited about 15 minutes for a table. No problem– don’t mind waiting at all. Once seated is where things went wrong. Waited about 10 – 15 minutes before our server came over, they were busy– so I can understand that– to a point. She was very brisk. My friend ordered and also asked for a cup of soup, only to be told a cup of soup can only be sold at lunch time –not at dinner time. Really!!! I should have checked on this, but didn’t. It took forever for our food to arrive– I’m talking at 8:30 our food arrived! The food was very good, but the briskness of our server along with the overall frenzy of the place, coupled with the poor service just gets a one star rating. And why is the pot roast along with many other favs removed from the menu– if they are trying for a more upscale menu/environment, it’s an epic fail.

Not! It was my day off, took the wife, we were seated quickly. The first thing that hit me was how hot it was in the place… Very uncomfortable. The expidter brought our food. not a word just slid the plates to each of us and walked off. Our poor server, Anglia something, was running around with her head cut off. We left her a great tip btw. Why do you have two greeters? Get one of them trained and get on some tables… As we were watching, another server walks by with a arm full of dishes. A fork falls off and hits the floor. One of the two greeters picked up the fork and left the small food pieces on the floor. right in front of us!!! Guess they will clean that up after the place closes… would I go back? Only if I want to eat at a denny’s under a different name.

I just had the worst service I gave ever had in my entire life. First we wait 10 minutes for our waitress to even come talk to us and by that time we already knew what we wanted then we wait 10 minutes just to get our appetizer and still no drinks. We finish our appetizer and still no drinks. When she finally comes back we tell her we just want our order to go and our ticket. Well another 10 minutes go by and the manager comes and we tell him what happened and he says he will take care of out ticket. Well usually that means our whole meal is competed but no what does he do he cancels our order. So we get nothing. Fantstic. Never go to this place

This is a restaurant we come to every couple months or so. The California Chicken Salad is a staple menu item we order. I recently tried the Salmon and Steak Combo For the first time and was very impressed. I did use my 20% off coupon, so that made it even better! :) I will be coming back to get this combo again!

A while ago I gave this place 5 stars for the great food and service that I received. This past Sunday, I talked my roommate and my boyfriend into going here for dinner after sadly realizing the place we wanted to go was closed. Since we hadn’t planned on this last minute change, my boy friend was wearing pj bottoms and my roommate has dreads I was wearing blue jean shorts and a tank top.(Important I promise) First of all, if you get stuck with a waiter named Collin who has glasses, ask for a different waiter. We all ordered the 3 course dinner with soup or salad an entrée and a dessert. He couldn’t keep track of who’s order he was taking, we had to ask for refills each time we needed them and we had to ask for him to clear the empty plates from our table so we had elbow room to eat our meal. He didn’t pay attention to our table at all after we asked him to remove plates. The service was bad. Lackluster at best. I paid for the whole meal which came out to about $ 50 cash. Our tip reflected our service. My boyfriend who was still upset with the service we received, called the restaurant to explain the service that we had just so that management could do something to fix it, because we really like this place. The person he spoke to knew exactly who we were because Collin had explained to the manager that we were rude. We were rude for asking for refills, asking to have plates removed, and correcting our orders. Whoever we spoke to then explained that we were rude, that their waiters work for their tips and we were wrong for stiffing him. Then they said«Yall are probably just some college punks looking for a free meal. Maybe if yall dressed nicer people would take your complaints seriously.» Need I say more??? From 5 stars to –5 stars if I could give them! I have never been so insulted in my life! I paid $ 50CASH for bad service, lackluster food, and 2 sense from whoever we spoke to on the phone. I will NEVER come back.

We had 5 for lunch. 2 ordered the fish lunch special– they loved it. 2 others had salads-California salad with strawberries & Cobb salad. The Cobb salad was huge with lots of tomatoes, chicken, eggs, bacon & blue cheese. See the pictures. I had the soup which was some kind of creamy chicken– it wasn’t that great-a few noodles & barely any chicken & it was too thick. The garden salad was fresh but mostly lettuce. Next time I will prob order the Cobb salad! The service was excellent.

Damnit Colin, where is my prime rib!!! All my friends got their food and you just now tell me they don’t have my steak? Now I’m hungry, unsatisfied with your service and my friends complained their food is unsatisfactory. I’m kind of glad you didn’t have my steak so I wouldn’t be as dissapointed either.

My fiancé and I ate here a few weeks ago after waiting fifteen minutes to being seated in an almost empty dining room at 6pm. The waiter was inattentive, rude, and it was a long wait before our meal arrived. We started with the Top Shelf Combo which included the spicy jack cheese wedges, overloaded potato skins, and chicken tenders. All of which were delicious. My fiancé, being from England, ordered the Fish and Chips to see how we did them here in America. He adored them, claiming that the cod was up to par and almost better than what he would have gotten back home. He got his food with only a ten minute wait. I, however, didn’t get my order of the Hand-Breaded Catfish until fifteen minutes after he was served(so a 25 minute wait). The catfish was tender and flaky, though there was no crisp to the breading. It fell to bits when I went to cut it with my fork. Being from Louisiana, our fried catfish usually has some crunch to it. It wasn’t quite what I expected. Finally, the waiter was one of the worst I’ve ever had to serve me. I’ve had multiple problems before due to my youthful appearance with not getting the respect I deserve as a customer, but after ordering a single glass of Moscato to go with my fish, he inspected my license twice and made a comment about how he was sure it was fake before regretfully serving me. When I went to pay for the meal, he made another comment about how he didn’t blame my fiancé for«letting his woman pay for the meal» and that he was«lucky to have a sugar-mama to pay for him», which made my fiancé feel uncomfortable. As we were finally leaving the restaurant, my fiancé and I spotted the waiter and five other staff members smoking near the side door, pointing at us, and commenting to themselves. It upset us a lot and I dont think we will be returning

One of the best places for Americana dinner or even lunch. The pasta selection is always good and the Louisiana Sirloin is the best steak on the menu. They keep beer on tap and a fair selection at that. Their loyalty plan is one of the best in the business. If you go in, ask for Cameron. He’s the best!
