Dairy Queen

I’ve lived in Lake City for over 20 years and have always enjoyed going down to get some ice cream. I hadn’t been down there in over a year and I go today a Saturday at 8pm and order a blizzard with chocolate ice cream and I’m told sorry we dont serve chocolate ice cream on the weekends, now you would think that maybe since dairy queen is known for ice cream treats they would maybe have another option besides vanilla just saying, mine as well go to Burger King just down the street much cheaper. This is just stunning to me that you dont serve chocolate ice cream on the weekend but do so all week, disappointed with the business.

The drive thru attendant was rude and obviously bored with her job… She didn’t speak up and rolled her eyes at us when we asked her to speak louder. No greeting no thank you no have a nice day… She needs some training on customer service!!! Summer is just starting!!! No high fives here!!!

Pretty lame.
My daughter and I stopped tonight because we couldn’t find anyone in town with a full menu at 8:55 pm.
FIRST PROBLEM: Surprisingly, Dairy Queen closes at 9:00 pm on a warm Saturday night, summertime, on the main road (Highway 61) – pretty stupid. The place literally filled with people right before closing. Maybe the owners don’t like to make money!
SECOND PROBLEM: No adults to be found anywhere, just a bunch of pimple faced kids who were all pissed off that they were suddenly busy at closing time, rolling their eyes, and giving everyone crappy customer service and attitude.
Could we have at least ONE PERSON over 30 to keep a lid on things? Also, I got a chilli cheese dog that had so little cheese and chilli, I literally couldn’t see them when I opened my box.
Thanks for nothing, DQ. They were the last in a trifecta of crappy customer service today.
Damn, the evening Lake City scene sucks!
