Dolphin Pool & Spa

I had them service my pool on a weekly basis. They started out great then switched a guy. On several occasions they didn’t have the proper chemicals for my pool. Mind you, I would clean my pool in between my weekly visit. One day, the pool guy turned off the flow to my sweeper. By the time that I realized there was a problem, my pool started to go south and was a mess. I called and asked them to give me my original guy. They came out to correct their mess up. Then yesterday I realized that the pool man had not shown up for two weeks. When my tenant called to follow up they stated that they were not going to service my account anymore. That there was too much debris in my pool and that it was too big. WTF? We maintain the pool at least once if not twice by the time they visit for their weekly chemical and brush service. And, if they were going to drop my account, why not at least call me and advise me that they were no longer going to service my account. Very unprofessional. I’d never use them nor refer them. If I could give them zero stars I would. Go across the street to Leslie’s Pool Supplies. Or call another service (Clear View — they are great).

Dolphin Pools pool and cleaning service has been amazing to me so far. We have had them for the past month September 2015, and our pool is so clear it almost seems like the water is dyed blue. We had Ivan, the Pool Services Manager (amazing guy) check out or algae infested pool, gave us the cleaning quote and the monthly service quote on day 1. We agreed, and honestly after about 3 days of repeated visits and many updates (very courteous) our pool has been the cleanest it has ever been.
Ivan is an amazing employee and guy and really helped us out. Luckily all of our pool equipment works properly but even a small issue that arose with the filter; Ivan fixed it immediately and at no charge.
Dolphin Pools has been our 3^rd pool cleaner in 6 – 8 months due to the others just coming and dumping chemicals and then just leaving. I would highly recommend Dolphin Pools as far as their pool cleaning services. I have yet to buy any products or need any major repairs so I cannot review those areas. But honestly, as far as pool cleaning, we have never seen better.

This company should change its name to Shark pool service!!!
My real estate agent found these bozos and hired them to inspect and repair my pool heater, filter, and pool and spa lights. They were given $ 1,500.00 they don’t have a heater repair guy, so they outsourced this idiot named Brian who I waited to show up all day… he never showed. But he called twice said he’s on his way oh and he needs to buy a part for our heater? Dude you NEVER EVEN SEEN MY POOL and I need a new part?
The 1^st day the guy comes to my house to clean the pool and said my pool is dirty and has to charge me more money? ??? He told me because he ONLY cleans clean pools??? I said get the Fuck out of here!
Jim and Gloria are the owners they got 1 foot in the grave as it is so yeah customer satisfaction is not their problem and they don’t give a shit about your problem. I also purchased a pool vacuum by Hayward paid $ 500.00 for it and $ 97.00 for the skimmer basket. Brought it home… doesn’t work!!! Then I had my new pool guy inspect the pool vacuum, not clogged and should work. We called the company and was told we have 30 days to return ANY PRODUCT with receipt. Jim would not tell me his RETURN POLICY. Said he would fix it, but by now I don’t TRUST YOU! I said nope you are a crook! I want my $$$ back now!!! I had to call Lake Elsinore Sheriff’ s to come to Dolphin Pools to make a report! !!! I wanted a case number so I could sue them bastards!!!
I also called Hayward pool company and reported them. They are no longer a supplier of Hayward pool products. They were very shocked to hear the police had to be called so a customer could get his money back.
Before I forget I told Jim to just install our pool lights the $ 1,500.00 should cover everything. …NOPE!
On the day of install this other functioning retard BRIAN called me to say he needs $ 600.00 more for the LED lights? So $ 2,100.00 for new LED pool and spa light? No I said I’m gonna have to shop you’re prices. Brian got pissed and said just forget it. Come get your check. You know why he got mad?
Cause I paid $ 1,100.00 on the Internet for my Pentair 5g color changing LED. And $ 300.00 to install from our new pool company.
Dolphin Pools robs their customers with out a gun! They are not reliable, WAY OVER PRICED! And do crappy work!
I also paid $ 1,500. 00 for a new filter Hayward C3030 pool filter. Installed. Then I found out I can get better prices off the Internet and just pay a guy to do the install. I found this filter for $ 499.00, and $ 300.00 to install!!! pisses me off to know I got screwed on this deal!
I went to Leslie pools and just walked around and was just listening and looking around. Way better service and better customer care. Cause I saw people coming in and the guy at Leslie pools ask if they want their money back or a replacement? No song and dance here! I bought an Eco Star variable speed pump for $ 700.00 installed!!! With a 5 year warranty!
Now that’s SERVICE!

Dolphin Pool does appear to be a mom and pop operation, and all my dealings have been very good with them. I have also been to the Leslie’s around the corner, and they don’t usually underprice Dolphin. Overall, I believe the owners and staff at Dolphin are more knowledgable than those at Leslie’s. I also wish Leslie’s would have found a different location to open yet another store. To me, Leslie’s represents a big conglomerate, putting the squeeze on Dolphin, who represents a classic small Main Street business trying to survive.

I used to go to Leslie’s pool supply across the street but the customer service was horrible I love how my pool looks and how clear it is after having my service done by dolphin pool and spa they have very good customer service and I will definitely will be recommending this place to my family and friends thank you dolphin pool and spa for making everything better!

Do not go to dolphin pool and spa center. No stars at all. People there do NOT take business seriously. Service to my pool was not done for several weeks, but we were billed for the service. Chlorine levels were zero and algae started to show up. Pool was turning green. Had to drain the pool and gave dolphin a 2^nd chance to service it after they agreed to issue us a credit. However, the credit was never issued.
They don’t reply to any messages, very rude.

No stars here, the old couple that works there are the worst. My wife and i were looking for a skimmer for our pool. The were extremely rude to us and other customers. Leslie pools is around the corner their staff is professional and very helpful. I will never go back here and would suggest everyone stay away.
