Exceptional Pest Control and Termite Services

I thought I had termites in my patio structure. Being a long time homeowner, I was prepared to get at least 2 estimates and expected the worst. While waiting for the man to arrive, I thought about the money my that wife and I had been saving for a well deserved vacation, and how it soon be used for home repairs instead. Fortunately for us, we called Exceptional first. We had an appointment for Ed to meet with us between 10 and 11 am. Ed called shortly after 9 stating that he was ahead of schedule and that he was only 10 minutes away. I thought, that’s nice for a change. Ed arrived and he seemed to me as a very easy going guy. Ed seemed confident, experienced and well mannered. I took him to the area of concern and within a minute he told me that I didn’t have a termite problem and that I didn’t have an insect problem at all. He explained that an area of wood on my patio beam had «pocket rot». He spent about 10 minutes confidently explaining that all I had to do is replaced that section of wood at my earliest convenience and everything would be fine. I remember saying to him, «well I guess that’s good me but, bad for you». (because he wouldn’t be able to make any money from this inspection) I had to ask Ed why he didn’t at least, try to sell any me of his other services? He smiled and replied «because you don’t need any of my services». He stated that he had seen that from other companies over the years, (without bad-​mouthing or naming any of his competitors) and
and simply stated «It’s just the right thing to do».” I sleep better at night that way”.
I shook his hand and thanked him and told him that He and Exceptional would be my only call if and when I «ever» have an insect problem. Ed’s a straight-​up guy and a true professional that runs his company the way that everyone should. God, that sure is nice for a change.

Exceptional Pest did a great job of resolving a number of termite problems for my Home Owners Association. Ed worked with me to coordinate treatment in multiple condos and made the process easy and efficient while keeping me informed at every step. The cost was very reasonable compared to other bids I received and the overall customer service was far above other companies I spoke with. Ed does not recommend treatment that he thinks is unnecessary and worked with me to find the right solution for our property and budget, which I really appreciated.
Besides being extremely knowledgable, Ed is a very pleasant person to do business with and genuinely cares about his customers. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Exceptional Pest again.

Exceptional Pest Control and Termite Services came out to do an inspection and give me a quote and spent as much time answering my questions as he did on the inspection. He answered each question thoroughly and patiently. When I scheduled my service, they showed up on time, were very cognizant of the activities of my household, and took great care to completely clean up after they were done. When the work was completed he explained everything he had done and found (no hidden surprises). They are extremely knowledgeable and kind and the quality of service is excellant!
I have already referred them to friends and will use them in the future!
