I went to Jed and asked him to smog my car and check fluid levels. He had my car for over a week. When I went to pick it up he had forgotten the smog, which was to be done next door. He charged me over $ 600 to replace the oil pan and gaskets(which I know nothing about vehicles). I thought I was doing the right thing. When I was driving it home the idle was high, which he, a mechanic, somehow never noticed having the car all that time. I took it back the next morning being I picked it up at 5PM. He then realized I needed a new sensor to help the idle. Why this wasn’t obvious at the first inspection is confusing to me. It turns out all my car needed was coolant/antifreeze, which he overlooked. I found that up when it blew up on Newport Road less than 800 miles from service. This guy is not sharp. This guy sucks. When I called him like all mechanics, nothing is his fault.
