Steve’s Towing

They were there to change my wife’s flat really quick, about 20 mins. And the driver changed the tire in about 15 mins. However when I went to get the tire changed back from the spare, the driver crossthreaded the lug nut. Had to break off the lug stem to get tire off.
I would have him taken the extra 4 mins to screw the lugs on properly. At least AAA is helping me get this fixed.

Had a flat off the 15 & Lake and AAA sent Kevin over from Steve’s towing. Great guy and he shared some great stories on the ride to the tire shop. Tried to give him a tip and politely refused.
Car troubles are never fun, but AAA and drivers like Kevin make it a lot less painful.

DO NOT LET THEM TOW YOUR MOTORCYCLE!!! They do not have the right straps to properly secure motorcycle without damaging the paint.
And when they do scratch your bike they promptly deny it and make you jump through the hoops of arbitration with AAA.
Well they ended up having to pay the FULL amount — and they deserve to based on their unethical treatment of myself… and my motorcycle, for that matter.
What a joke… just step up and buy the proper handlebar straps for motorycles and throw them in the tow truck — done. THINK! You are a towing company be prepared.

Stevens towing help my husband and I up today, we had a flat on the side of the 15 fwy near lake exit. This driver was great! If you have more like him your business will thrive. He took the time to be sure we were taken care of, and now a days that’s rare.
Didn’t get his name but I’m sure you know who he is.

My car was involved in an accident and was unsafe to drive. I called AAA and they called Steve’s towing. The driver took advantage of the aftermath and convinced me to let him take my car to «the yard» for the night. The next day I was told that I owed fees. I wanted to use AAA because it would be free. If I could give ZERO stars I would!!! Your driver just tried to demand $ 250 CASH from my husband when Lexus already told you that they were paying to winch him out of the sand. After waiting over an hour and a half (it was supposed to take 45 mins) for them to get there the scumbag left him in the middle of nowhere because he wouldn’t pay their ransom. 4 hours later my husband is still stranded there!!! Thanks scumbags!!! My children really appreciate you leaving their father in the middle of nowhere!!!

My car was at an auto shop for two days and needed to be towed to a dealership In Lake Elsinore. So I called AAA and they contacted Steve’s towing and then gave me an arrival time of 3:41 pm. I then received an updated time of 4:25 pm and then at 3:44 a call from Steves towing stating the driver would be an additional 15 – 20 min «I said no problem» and the girl said «thank you for your patients» to me that made the drivers time of arrival 5:40 — 5:45 pm. So I went back in my house and was gonna wait till 4:15 to leave my house. At 3:56 the driver called me asking me where I was, I told him at home he said «I’m here at the shop, how long will it take you to get here?» I said 10 min. I jumped in my car and headed over there, as I was almost there another guy from the towing office called and said «how much longer till you are there?» I said I was 1 min away. He then preceded to lecture me about AAA rules, I told him what happened and he could have cared less was very rude!!! I get there tell the driver what happened and he decided to tell me it’s the co. Policy to leave 5 min after they get there and showed me his arrival time, I told him what happened and he could have careless as well. After my frustration with him he then unhooked my car and told me to call AAA back and arrange another tow. THE NERVE OF THOSE PEOPLE! I opened a complaint with AAA and will let everyone know DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH Steves towing in lake Elsinore! If I could give them a — star I would

To complain about Steve’s towing distance is NOT their issue it is YOURS. Upgrade your AAA membership.
I can answer the other complaints but have no reason to.
I have a F350 crewcab dully with a 12′ Lance on it. Going up the 15 to the Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival, BANG! Inside tire on the rear lets go and I am dead in the water. I called AAA and they sent Steve’s. Duck was my driver /​tech. Duck changed the tire where it sat, checked the pressure on the others and off I went. OUTSTANDING SERVICE!
Pulling into Skinner lake… poof goes the other inside tire. Because we had several cars there I went and got another spare then called Steve’s to have it swapped.
AAA got two calls mixed up AAA thought I was a car… HUH? NO Close enough to RV to pay the AAA membership for one.
Derrick shows up first and can’t help me. My truck was bigger than his but he calls Jessie the RV guy that is leaving the lot. 20 minutes later I’m golden again and made it 120 miles back home with no more issues.
The tires in question have been RECALLED by Dunlop. Day late and dollar short for me but Steve’s is the best in my eyes.

Was just about run off the road by one of these clowns from Steve’s towing. I caught license number and called company to report. The man answering the phone could not have cared any less and basically laughed at me. Also said no manager would be in office for another three days. Steve’s is the scum of the towing world.

Steves Towing of Lake Elsinore recently towed my boat and truck. They detached my boat from my truck so that they could charge me twice. My friends who own a Tow Truck company advised me that this was a rip off. They not only ripped me off but the guy who sits behind second window (split wall) was rude and aggresive. He started yelling because we were questioning the bill and a lien fee that was charged for 125.00 when it shouldnt have been charged. So I gues he though because he was 6 foot 3 were supposed to panic and get scarred. Steves Towing is a rip off and a small claims suit is on the way to recover the second towing that was an excessive charge that was not warranted. The guy who sits behing the first window had people skills and was cordial. Besides that is was all a scam.

Be aware! AAA sent Steve’s Towing to tow my car from Lake Elsinore to Murrieta. The driver, Kirk was very professional & courteous. My car was towed on a Saturday. AAA only covers 7 miles, so I had to pay $ 88 for the extra miles. I signed an invoice for $ 88 on Saturday. On Tuesday, I checked my bank account and saw that I was charged $ 106. When I called to correct the situation, I was told that the manager already realized the mistake and it would be corrected within 24 hours. The dispatcher was rude to me and couldn’t understand why I was upset that nobody called to tell me about the mistake. If the manager already discovered it, why not call and let me know? What’s the point in waiting until I figure it out and get upset? What has happened to basic customer service?

Liars and crooks that should not be trusted. They were referred by AAA, my dads truck needed a new battery, Steve’s towing installed one too big, couldn’t even close the hood because the battery is too tall. They refuse to take back the new, never been used battery and are incompetent. I had AAA have Steve’s come back and have Steve himself install the too big battery. My dad is a senior citizen, shame on Steve’s towing for taking advantage of a poor senior!!!
