Stay away. I used these guys two years straight. Shame on me. Both years their lights have had issues. Then take 2 – 3 days to come out while you are stuck paying for lights that don’t even work. Do yourself a favor and find someone cheaper and that stands behind their work

Used them last year and won’t again this year. When they installed and removed the lights they broke several and left broken glass in several areas. I also asked them to make sure all staples were removed but they were not and now I have visible staples in my fascia boards.

Started using these guys last year. Not having to unravel bags of lights has probably added at least a year to my lifespan. Christmas Kings are awesome. It’s a quick install and they do a wonderful job of hiding all the power lines.

I wish I used another lighting company. I was so excited to have a professional put up lights for our family. From the beginning it was not great dealing with this company. On the website it had listed a price for a single story house like mine, but when I called it was another story. The girl said that was last years prices they just have not taken that price down yet. The price for this year was $ 100 more with the early bird discount. I told the girl what I wanted and was very detailed. She gave me a price of $ 370 (cheaper for doing it early) but when they got to my house it was a whole different story. The guys who put up the light are very nice and felt bad and the lights looked great when they work. I have been calling the company for TWO weeks saying my light don’t work and NEVER heard back from them! Finally, I kept calling and got a hold of a girl yesterday and she told me that someone would come to my house today for a service call. She said they would call to tell me a time, shocker they NEVER called. I paid almost $ 400 for a basic one story very minimum job and lights don’t work! This company rarely answers the phone, its sound very unprofessional when you do call-​like its in their house and when you leave a message the don’t call you back! GO somewhere else where they no the meaning of customer service because this place isn’t it!

The C Kings have been doing our Christmas lighting for several years now and they always work within your budget, come at the appointed time and take them down when they say they will. If there is a problem, with the lights, they will come out in a timely manner and fix it.
I’ve had other services that were undependable and would overload the circuits, But this has never happened with these boys. They are careful about protecting wiring from foot traffic and inclement weather.
Call early and get an appointment as soon as possible as they book up early.

I’ve used this company for several years now, but will not use them again. They came out on time to put up lights, but not for the take down. I called several times and was only able to speak with someone one time. Told them I need lights taken down b/​c I live in association & have until one week after the first to take them down. They told me they would be here last weekend but never showed up. Don’t use this company! All they care about is putting up & getting the check at that time.

Overall: Pretty mediocre.
From a process standpoint, it was pretty smooth. Call to describe what you want. We had standard roof lights, garage edges, walkway lights from door to street and palm tree trunk. All of this was just under $ 400. After Christmas, call to arrange pickup (they seem to have a day set for any given city).
The product and installation is where all the stars got gigged.
1) After installation there were several broken light bulbs (glass shards) in the drive way.
2) On day one there were about 6 lights that didn’t work. I replaced a few from the left over end of the strand left in my garage.
3) Over the next few days another 6 or so lights stopped working.
4) The lights around the house were a warm white. The lights on the tree were a pretty cool white.
5) They use household extension cords everywhere. Nothing shorted thankfully, but it seemed sketchy.
6) After they left, there were cord ends (just cut off) and bulbs in the yard.
On a positive note. They did pull the 100’s of staples out of the wood and the lights did look good (with the exception of the warm vs cool whites).
I think I’ll hire someone else next year.

After paying an arm and a leg last year for someone to put up our lights then not come back till almost February, I decided to get a referral from a neighbor. I’m so glad I did. The Christmas Kings are licensed and insured so even if it was pricer my husband was on board because he owns a roofing business and knows how important this is.
Other pros: they are very personable on the phone and in person. They are super quick and efficient. The price is right for being licensed and insured. They call when they are on the way. They do a fantastic job on the house and trim.
Cons: don’t make an appt by submitting an e-​mail — they never responded to me. If they tell you they can put up the lights on a specific date, be patient if its a day later. It was for me.
Tips:
1. Check the finished product. I asked for colored led lights on the trees and got white. They missed a couple branches on one of the trees… but I couldn’t tell in the afternoon.
2. Call in November to schedule your appt.
3. Know the square footage of your house, height of trees if you want decorated, and exactly what you want decorated.
4. Tip them.

After dealing with another company that was a complete disaster I called the Christmas Kings. I was impressed from the moment I spoke with Ashley on the phone. The installers arrived on time and in a truck that was professionally wrapped with their business info. All the workers were wearing company t shirts. Jason was awesome. I was impressed not only with their level of professionalism but their speediness. The lights look great and straight. Thank you so much! For those of you who may complain their prices are high I would say you get what you pay for; and with this company you get quality work.

Due to an illness I decided to look into having Xmas lights installed on my house. Typically, I would just not have any decorations but there are a lot of kids in my neighborhood so I knew they would appreciate it. I surfed the web looking for this service. The only place I found was this provider. I must admit I had second thoughts about using them since the price seemed too high, but I sent an inquiry anyway for the least expensive set up. A very pleasant person called me the next day and left me a message. I was able to get a hold of them the day after and schedule an install. I wanted to pay right then but they wouldn’t take my info. The install went fine and when I got home my lights we’re working. Then things took a turn… My lights quit working. It appeared the installer put the electric cord next to a timed garden sprinkler. I need to contact the company and let them know. In keeping with full disclosure, they have called me three times for final payment in the last three days. My delay in returning their calls has been work is busy and I needed to compile the info regarding the botched install which I will do. I will request an invoice and ask for a deduction. For me, I would not use this company again.
