We will show you the designwork on screen in 3D from early in the process. Our clients are confident of the design integrity because of our skill and this great visualization tool.

We love to work on difficult sites with steep slopes, wetlands and streams– caring for the environment and the building design together. We have been deeply involved in sustainable design and alternative materials and methods since the 80’s.

DePape Architecture has designed houses from Bellingham to Belize, Central America & from Washington to Ohio. Most service is provided around Puget Sound so we are familiar with local codes.

Established in 1985.

Our longstanding practice has been to make you an integral part of the design process. We work with you to create architecture that expresses your personality, values and vision.

DePape started business designing energy conscious homes and buildings after volunteering in the Peace Corp in Belize. Since that time we have been using a wealth of experience, cutting edge 3D tools and good judgment to make our designs livable, buildable, fun, and durable. DePape Associates was located in Seattle, then Bothell for 13 years and now operates for 8 years in its own building in Lake Forest Park.

Business Owner

Dennis has been principal architect and business owner for over 25 years. He has also been active in building his community through leadership at his church and in his hometown of Kenmore.

Dennis serves or has served on the:

+ Planning Commission for 6 years, 3 years as chair.

+ Stewardship Commission 4 years, 2 years as chair.

+ DowntownTask Force 4 years, 2 years as chair. With Dennis’ leadership the TaskForce designed a Transit Oriented District that promotes high density housing overlooking an 80 acre wetland and very close to great Bus service. This keeps cars off of the road and improves bus service and reduces sprawl.

+ InterFaith Task for on Homelessness

+ In his spare time Dennis loves to offer lectures on Stewardship and blows art glass.
