Dedicated Sound and Audio is proud to introduce, Sound Art — combining two products — a revolutionary high fidelity, low profile speaker with custom printed framed art — into a beautiful, wall-art speaker system. Sound Art introduces an entirely new way to listen to music in your home, letting users enjoy personalized, custom artwork as well high performance sound. Sound Art ushers in an era of invisible, beautiful and amazing sound throughout your home and redefines your entire entertainment system. The need to reclaim your floor space and rid your home of unsightly speaker boxes that need to be bolted to the wall is now a thing of the past.
Sound Art is beautifully hidden behind a high grade textured canvas wrap. Very much in line with the frame material, the canvas wrap has also been specifically selected for this system. The textured surface allows for better sound diffusion, while at the same time providing for a pleasing artistic appearance.
Sound Art is the perfect marriage of engineering and design. We did not sacrifice one for the other. We wanted materials that, from an engineering perspective, gave us the best fidelity in any sound application. Yet it had to be aesthetically pleasing as well. The soul of Sound Art is the beauty that you bring into your home, that is the design. The heart of Sound Art is the amazing sounds you will get from the embedded technology, that is the engineering. We feel we have combined the two perfectly into Sound Art.
History
Established in 2012.
Our mission at Dedicated Sound and Audio, Inc. is to transcend traditional ideas of art and sound and revolutionize the way people enjoy music. We have begun to fulfill our mission by adding visual art to the dimension of sound through cutting-edge technology.
The technology Dedicated Sound and Audio has developed mirrors our pursuit of the company’s core value of innovation. We refuse to duplicate or imitate when we can innovate. Thus, we have developed Sound Art powered by our Onsia speakers. Sound Art is unique in many ways, including the use of flat panel speakers rather than traditional «cone» speakers, and the combining of art and sound by concealing our speakers behind any type of art.
Meet the Business Owner
Steve V.
Business Owner
The concept of combining both a speaker and art truly surfaced when Stephen Ventre, DSA’s Founder and CEO, took the direction of their marketing guru Robert and brought a customized look and feel to the product. It was with Steve’s Production manager — 28 year framer and artist — Murray Kruger, that both of them started building all sorts of prototypes to accommodate the numerous applications of Sound Art.
The concept Steve came up with was more than just a flat panel speaker — it was taking technology and art and combining them together. Steve said, «It was about changing how you listened to the sound in your home. It was such an obvious and elegant idea.» Then in the fall of 2012 Steve finally made his first initial investment to the beginning of this company — a commercial building in Southern California where all research and development would be completed.
