History

Established in 1903.

When John Griffith founded our company in 1903, he based his business on personalized service. Using this fundamental concept, he built a reputation of trust among the Lake Forest and Lake Bluff communities and was also instrumental in building Market Square, a major and enduring symbol of our community. In 1916, Griffith moved his office to Market Square — in the same location that it occupies today.

Since 1903, the agents of Griffith, Grant & Lackie Realtors® have turned the dream of home ownership into a reality for the residents of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff. Griffith’s vision and legacy lives on, with 4^th-​generation descendants Scott Lackie and Brad W. Andersen owning and managing the firm.
