Went to Hair &Associates for the first time on a recommendation from a friend. While Kasey was nice enough she did not listen to what I wanted. I asked to have 1 inch taken off and my cut refreshed. She cut 5 inches. This is the worst cut I have ever had in my life. My ends are jagged, my bangs are crooked and my hair is about half an inch longer on one side. I’m waiting for it to grow out so I can have it corrected. Also this is not the cleanest salon I have ever been in.

Do not go here with a picture and expect a similar hair cut. The operator, Carmen, was given a picture to help with the cut and she created a cut that looks nothing like what my sister gave her. When confronted, she blamed the texture of my sister’s hair. Really? The length in the picture was below the jawbone and now her hair is layered above her ear. I know, it will grow back(in many months) but in the meantime my developmentally disabled sister has a haircut that makes her cry. Very, very sad!

I’ve been going to this salon for 10 plus years and I’ve always had a great experience there. Sherry, the owner is incredibly friendly and down to Earth. Kasey is my hairstylist now and I get compliments every time she does my hair. Their prices are reasonable and their new location is so nice. My kids love getting their hair done there too!

This is actually a very old review. I use go to this place for hair extensions(single/protein bond).back in 2008. As we all know extensions are pricey. I believe mine were $ 500. The the thing that I didnt like about this place or should i say the person(at the time, there was only one girl that did extensions) that did my extensions(I cant remember her name now) is that she was not truthful about the product. She ordered that wrong color 2x. The first time she let me know that the hair was one shade lighter than my natural color and that she was going to dye the extension to match my hair… okay with me, except later I notice that some of the hair on the extensions didnt take the dye. So the the next time i went to get them redone(which was about every 3 – 4 months) I asked to make sure that she ordered the right color. Well, she ordered the wrong color again and told me that she would send them back, actually, she told me that she would drive to the place herself… She rescheduled me for the next week. When i returned, I told her that I was glad that she was able to exchange the extension so soon… My hair girl was just like«yeah, the company is not far»…Then, i noticed that she was blow drying the extensions… needless to say, she did NOT return the extensions… she just dyed the hair! To top it off she didnt even bother to dye the hair way ahead of time… she obviously had just dyed it probably an hour before I got there. Fortunately, once the extensions where in my hair it was hard to tell that the dye didnt take in some of the hairs. That was the last time I went there. I didnt even go back to the same place to remove them… I had to find another salon that removed them for me… OH, and by the way… the lady didnt really cut my hair and extensions to have them blend in more. I think she would just trim the bottom. Anyway, the used the brand Cinderella remy-hair extensions. The extensions themselves were nice thought. The extensions didnt damage my hair(two stars for that).
