I had a problem in Feb with my air conditioning/​heater at my house and my parents helped me out and contacted this company to come and see if can be fixed. From the beginning they were very good, called me after speaking with parent to set up time frame and give tech name which is adam. He called before he came and was even early than expected time frame which was good. He showed up in a service alliance truck that’s out in the valley and even called from a 818#. I was a little Suprised that wasn’t told would be a outside company considering «lake forest cooling» was contacted. Adam was very polite with my son and I and did his work quick. I explained to him that I’m not the one who paid the service call so I’m not really authorized to allow more charges other than the service call that was already charged just need to find out the problem so can let my parents know and see if it’s ok to proceed. He said he understood. So then after about 5 to 10 min he says it’s the transformer and the wires are not connecting to outside unit but he needs to take apart to make sure if that’s the problem. I said ok but just see what’s wrong so I can tell my parents, then he said ok I can find out and tell you how much would be once I see if that’s the problem. So he’s fast and efficient and gets the air and heat working and my house is cooling off again. He tells me it’s now $ 388. I was off guard cuz I just explained more than once I had to tell them so I told him ok you need to call the office because I’m not the one paying for it. He leaves and comes back a while later saying it’s taken care of with a invoice receipt from service alliance with no cost itemized so not even sure if the service call was waived since it’s on the website if work is done would be waived. So who knows… I sure hope they did. Bottom line the service and tech was great but the communication sucked.
