Marina Dental

I brought my son here a couple times before deciding to find a better dentist. She is a very sweet lady and very kind to my son but as I looked around the place it was dirty. There was hair, dust, and grime accumulated throughout the place. It is a small place, just the dentist and the receptionist so I imagine they don’t have time to clean very often and it shows. It leaves me wondering if they don’t have time to clean counter tops, chairs and the floor… what else don’t they have time to clean? Her accent is also very very thick and doesn’t know many English words, this is by no means is any reason not to go to her but it does take very careful listening to understand what she is saying (except for my 6 year old who would just look at me like «uhhhh???»)

This place is great. It is a little hidden gem and best of all they take HMO and medi-​cal dental. Dr. Armani is very nice and will never up sell you. She is in this business to help people. It is rare to find that quality in a dentist. The suite is a bit hard to find but well worth the search. Check her out, you won’t be dissatisfied.

I needed a new dentist as my last dentist was out in the desert where my parents used to live. They sold that house last year and I have been dreading looking for a new dentist since then but I really can’t make the 2 hour drive to see my old Dentist. I came to this dentist office a few years ago when I needed a root canal. I was seen by Dr Ashraf Soliman at the time but was not comfortable with him working on my teeth so I didn’t come back and ultimately chose to make a long drive to my old dentist ofr an emergency root canal. I wasn’t originally planning on coming back until I heard that Dr Amani Soliman was running this office by herself.
All I needed was a routine cleaning like the ones you are supposed to get every 6 months. She was more than happy to see me and I only had to wait a week to get an appointment. She saw me on time and was gentle on my teeth. She did a good job cleaning and did all the work herself. This is uncommon in my experience as I have usually had a hygenist do the cleaning followed by the dentist checking my teeth for a few minutes.
When I had arrived, I overheard the girl in the front office making calls to other Dentists to help a client with an issue that Dr Soliman was unable to take care of. That showed me that they go out of their way to help people rather than just hand a business card to you and say maybe this person can help you. If you need a great dentist in the Lake Forest area, I suggest you give Marina Dental a try! :-)

GREAT dentist!!! She did exactly what we came in for and we were not overcharged. I was quoted $ 100-​$ 135 more at two other offices before coming here. I will definitely return.
