As a professional hair stylist in Lake Forest, California, Michelle Scott has been in the beauty industry for over 20 years. She received her training at the Capelle Design School of Beauty in Atlanta, Georgia. She assisted Van Councel at Van Michael salon in Georgia, which then led her to Southern California to continue her education. Michelle’s training includes Vidal Sassoon, Toni and Guy, Aveda, Colure design team and Paul Mitchell academies. Michelle specializes in the Scruples Blazing highlighting and low lighting system, non bleach product, L’Oreal Professionel color and Redken. She utilizes precision cutting to give her clients a finished look. Michelle is also certified in the Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatment. I’ve been looking for a new hair dresser that was closer to home and decided to give Michelle a shot based on her outstanding Unilocal reviews and I’m so glad I did. She’s very attentive, has a strong attention to detail and knows what style works best for my hair.
Like Sonia N.‘s review, she also did subtle balayage highlights on my dark brown hair and gave me a great hair cut. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is in need of color, highlights or a hair cut. She’s friendly, patient and just a lot of fun to be around!

I decided to give Michelle a try because of her great reviews and I liked the photos of her work. I’m very happy I did. She took time to find out what I wanted and gave great suggestions.
She did a subtle balayage highlights on my very dark brown hair and gave me the best haircut I had in years. I’ll definitely go back to Michelle.

Michelle is amazing!!! I got paired up with her by chance and I promise you I will never see another stylist ever again. I wanted a subtle ombré and belyage and that is exactly what she gave me. She exceeded my expectations by far and gave me the best color and cut I have ever gotten. She really takes the time to see what you want and she knew what I wanted before I did. I never felt as though she was rushing through it, she spent a lot of time and effort on my hair. Her prices are very reasonable as well. If you are looking for a new stylist who’s great at what they do (and loves it) go see Michelle!

Michelle has been doing my hair for over 7 years. I have felt so confident in her skills that I have referred several people to her over the past years. She always seems to know what cut works well for everyone and has been great with color. She is great about recommending the right products for my hair type. I personally have shorter hair and she does precision cuts every time. She never rushes through a cut and will always put in extra time to get everything just right. I have a really hectic work schedule and Michelle is always willing to make time to accommodate me. It is really hard to find someone that you trust with your hair and I was fortunate to connect with Michelle.

Michelle is gifted hair artist I am so grateful I found her! I have dark hair and needed my hair to be lighten without it turning orange red! In Addition Michelle uses really great products that are non-toxic’s ammonia free and she has an up-​to-​date products that keep the health of the hair intact while coloring!

I have been going to Michelle for several years now and she truly takes her work seriously. She really strives to please her customers and give them exactly what they want. Sometimes, she has offered some refreshing ideas when I needed some changes. Michelle is gifted at everything she does, but I primarily have gone to her for color and cuts. As professional as she is, she really strives to understand each client and cares about them on a personal level. I suppose that is why she has such a great customer return rate. She uses high-​quality hair products and likes to throw in extras every once in awhile if you need them because she cares most about the end result. Michelle believes that her work is a reflection of herself, so she wants everyone to walk out not just happy, but with HEALTHY hair. Michelle is THE BEST stylist I have ever been to. She knows exactly what color is needed. A true perfectionist who will take her time and use the best products to make me look fantastic. She doesn’t rush you and takes appointments to accommodate a busy working professional.
