Ladan a great help, even though she told us at the end of the transaction that she is new she seemed very knowledgeable about her inventory and remained cool even when the computer went offline for a few minutes. Shoes here are inexpensive and you’ll always find what you need here. I bought work shoes here for under 30 bucks. I still use them today, a year later, they are durable. You don’t need a designer shoe store to always get you what you need. The only suggestion I’d give this store is to upgrade the computer systems at the register. They are ancient POS systems and the update would streamline the return process, which I can see is still a manual process in the year 2013(2014 now that I’m submitting this old ass review, finally!)

I went in yesterday and a lady named Maryam kallas was extremely rude. She rolled her eyes as I walked in and didn’t even greet me, unless the eye roll was her way of greeting me. I work in customer service and I know the expectations and that is far below basic. She was extremely rude please help your employees improve their attitude.

I went to this store today and found a pair of shoes. I had been looking at multiple stores to find this specific one and this store was the only one that had it. I asked one of the employees, MARIA, about any discounts the store might have. We talked a little and parted ways. I thought everything was fine until my ten year old daughter told me that she heard the employee that just helped us talk behind our backs about how rude we were and that it is people like us that gives her a reason to hate people. So we went back to the store and asked for the manager. MARIA came to us and told us that the manager was out and she was in charge. We told her that we heard what she had said behind our backs. She had the nerve to say«how do you know I am talking about you?.» I felt extremely disrespected and I asked for the managers name and number. She gave it to me with a look of disgust and it almost seemed like she was challenging me to write a complaint. So here is the complaint, and I will be calling the manager, JUANA, tomorrow about MARIA. Don’t bother coming to this store. There are plenty of other Payless stores with great guest service. And if I could give them zero star I would but unfortunately, I have to give them one.
