Called on a Sunday morning and we were lucky enough to grab an empty appointment. This place is located in a little business strip mall in Lake Forest– very clean and cute. The woman who did the ultrasound was great– really patient and friendly while we tried to get baby to move! Would definitely recommend! And great deals on prices, too!

We had a wonderful experience here from start to finish and would recommend this place to friends. I called on a Monday morning at 9am for a same day appointment. No one answered but I got a call back within 5 minutes. I was advised to drink juice 30 minutes before my appt and bring a cold water to «move» the baby if she wasn’t in a good position. Check in process was easy and they offered a $ 10 discount for checking in on Unilocal.Their prices can’t be beat! We paid $ 35 for a 10 minute 2D/​4D ultrasound, it included 2 printed photos and a CD with all the photos. The girl (I should have asked her name) was so sweet, friendly, and best of all, knowledgeable. She was able to answer all my questions and give my husband and I so much peace of mind, which made the session worth 10 times what we paid. I was only 18 weeks at the appt but we were able to confirm gender (saw the 3 little lines), and we watched my daughter suck her thumb and even smile. I definitely plan to go back between the recommended 28 – 32 weeks for another 4D ultrasound!

Came in at 32 weeks (36 now) to get 3D/​4D images of our little. It was our first time, we never got them for our other two children. Everything was great and the quality of the photos are excellent (we got about 45 on a disc) price was a steal compared to other places I looked at. I can’t remember the ladies name that helped us, she was the only one there at the time but she was so sweet and helpful, it was supposed to be a 10 min session, we were definitely there a lot longer than we were expecting. Probably because no one was waiting after us, but that was ok because we didn’t mind staring at our littles face for awhile :).

At 32 weeks with our second daughter, my husband and I wanted to have some nice 3D ultrasound pictures taken. After checking out some other local businesses on Unilocal,we decided to go with Picture an Angel.
We went with the Internet Special package, which was priced at $ 60 and included 2 color prints, a 20 minute 4D ultrasound, a CD of all captured images, and a DVD of the entire ultrasound. There is also a Unilocal check-​in offer for $ 10 off any package, so our total was only $ 50 after everything.
This place certainly has excellent reviews for a reason! We got 66 images, many of which were much clearer than when we attempted a 3D ultrasound with our first daughter. We were very pleased with the quality of the images we received, and I also loved that we were talked through the whole ultrasound (sometimes it’s so hard to tell exactly what you’re looking at!). We even got to hear baby’s heartbeat, which was especially sweet for my husband, since he hadn’t gotten to hear it yet.
Great experience, and I can’t recommend this place enough!

Went today to confirm our baby’s gender and also to get some 3d/​4d images. It was a sweet experience. Our tech was nice and took her time with us. Not sure if it was the best quality of images but, I could tell our little one looks like our first born! Hopefully for future pregnancies they’ll have clearer images because I’d like to return!

This is my 2nd time to Picture an Angel — was here about 3yrs ago when I was pregnant with my son and loved the prices and the pictures that I decided to come back now that I’m pregnant with my daughter. It was really easy to get into and they were able to give me the time I wanted.
Wendy was great, I have no complaints about her whatsoever — she knew what she was doing and was so very sweet about it all!
The only thing my husband and I were bummed about was that for some reason our pictures weren’t the same as when we went with my son — it wasn’t as clear! With my son you could see all his little features, but for some reason with these pictures I’m having to point out to people where the eyes/​nose/​mouth are. We went home with blurry images — maybe because her hand was near her face the entire time? I don’t know much about ultrasound scans so I don’t know if that makes a difference, we just were disappointed at the clarity.
Other than that, everything went great. Just wish we had better pictures.

I was feeling sad and missed seeing the baby on ultrasound. Called this morning at 8am and they got me in at 1pm. Got the Bronze package with a Unilocal $ 10 off coupon. Our wonderful technician spent a lot of time with us and finally got our little Muffin to uncross its legs. My husband went adorable and cute crazy once it was determined it was a girl. Images aren’t super clear but you can definitely see what’s going on inside. It definitely cheered me up and the personal touch is amazing service.

A group of us took a friend here after her regular doctor could not give her a 100% gender guarantee. We called and the lady who helped me on the phone was very helpful and offered to call her to schedule as it was a surprise.
The staff we very friendly in what was supposed to be a quick appointment, but this baby did not want to cooperate. Wendy was very patient, and as there were no appointments after us, she allowed us to stay until we could get the guarantee. The mom to be took walks around the building, had food to eat and even did handstands on the wall… all while Wendy patiently waited.
Thank you so much to the staff and especially Wendy, for making our friend feel so special, and taking the additional time to make the appointment all that we had hoped for.

So disappointed by this place. Went in for my 4D ultrasound and after 45 minutes of laying on an uncomfortable bed in a freezing cold room, the tech did not get one good shot. The tech was nice however, she kept blaming the horrible images on the babies position being «close to the placenta». Which doesn’t make any sense as to why we could not get a clear shot of her face. I had drank plenty of water and even had something sweet to get the baby moving which she was the entire time. If this was the case why didn’t she ask us to come back another day?
The TV’s in the room are so small and one of the TV’s must be from the 80’s, quality was just terrible. Overall left, super disappointed with not even one decent image. Don’t waste your time and money on this place and find a place with more up to date technology.

The staff was nice & the bed was comfortable but my pictures came out terrible. I’m 31 weeks, expecting a girl and wanted at least one good shot. I didn’t even get that. Every image on the disk is blurry! They said she was sleeping but i don’t understand why my images are blurry. I’m frustrated!

Had a great experience here. Large viewing room can accommodate many friends/​family if you desire. They were very prompt and the tech made sure we had a great view before she started recording our cd. They were very accomodating to my 3 yr old daughter who seemed less interested in her baby brother to be and more so in the furniture! We got some great pictures, even a few of our little boy flipping us off.
I recommend having something sweet to drink or a light snack to get baby moving around before the appointment!

This place was great! Tanya was our ultrasound tech and she did a wonderful job! We chose the gold package for $ 75 and it was worth every penny! We did our ultrasound at 27 weeks and we loved it so much that we may do it again before i give birth in February :) it’s lovely how they add music your pictures and DVD. If you’ve been debating on whether or not to try this place — definitely do it !!!
Note: some reviews complain about this place not answering calls or not calling you back until after 5pm. All I have to say is that there’s usually one person working at a time and whoever is working there at the time of your visit doesn’t answer calls because they give YOU their undivided attention and customer service when they are with you. They’re business hours also go past 5pm so don’t be surprised if they can’t call you back until after that because they get booked back to back all day long… But rest assured they will call you back :)
