Pump It Up

I just had my son’s 6^th birthday there and everyone had a great time. They move things a long like a well oiled machine. I only had a few problems that I wasn’t too happy about.
1. They told me I could come 20 min. early to help setup the party room. I was there 30 min early because I am a perfectionist and don’t trust others to do the job to my satisfaction. Making efforts to have my husband come with our kids separately so that they wouldn’t be waiting around while I setup. They wouldn’t let me setup. (Mind you we were one of the first parties of the day there so the room wasn’t being used.) I asked multiple times when I could setup and they just kept saying someone will come and get you. I paid extra for the star wars and that’s what I wanted to see my son doing more than anything. Of course they came and got me right as they were starting that party. I missed the whole thing =(
2. They said yellow plates would be included in our package. When they brought the plates in they said, «We have yellow plates for the kids. Is it ok if we use these white plates for the adults?» (They were cheap white crappy, ugly plates you would use in your house & then white styrofoam plates to serve cake for everyone.) When I specially asked them what color plates were included in my package it would have been nice to know that they only had them for the kids and not the adults too and that it was just for the pizza and not the cake… I would have brought my own.
3. The pictures that were included in my package were a little disappointing. Luckily my friend took pics for me that saved the day. I think I would have cried if I didn’t have the pics my friend took.
4. I used to work the kids party circuit in High School at Cal Elite. I was appalled when I got home from Pump It Up to find they couldn’t spare the 30 seconds it would have took to wash the serving knife. I would have NEVER sent someone home with a knife in their cloth bag with cake and frosting all over it.
Other than that it was a great party & I WOULD recommend it. JUST be RIDICULOUSLY thorough when going over the details and don’t bother with the photo package.

My son just had his Birthday party here, and it was our first time here. We went with the glow party option. Let me just tell you, do not be fooled by the pictures. They truly don’t even come close to how much fun we all had! Including adults. The slides are SOOO much fun. They are inclined so it adds to the thrill level and speed. They have up beat music playing throughout and you get 40 minutes in each room (2 play rooms total), then 30 – 40 minutes ish in your private party room for Pizza, and Cake. We didn’t open presents there, so they gave us the choice of having one of the staff members apply each child a washable tattoo. They loved it!
Overall, our experience as a whole, was a definite ¹⁰⁄₁₀. Super, Super fun!
Suggestion: Definitely go with the Glow Party option, I believe it’s about 2 $ extra per child, but soooo worth it. I don’t think I would’ve liked the non glow option. Too Bright and not as fun of an ambiance. The glow/​cosmic theme definitely set the mood for an FUN time. You are not allowed to bring outside food besides bottled water, chips and dip, fruit and veggie platters. FYI.

Great place to take the kids and get their wiggles out. I like this location better than the Irvine one. This place has really good deals on open jump and is much cheaper than Big air trampoline. This is my kids favorite place to jump. The free wifi is a real bonus. The staff is good. Update from 5 to 4 stars. They got rid of WIFI which is a bummer. Part of why I went there was access to WIFI so I could get things done while my kiddos jumped.

We went to a birthday party here yesterday and my kids had a blast! The arenas are so much fun with huge slides that my daughter loved, a bubble machine that my son couldn’t get enough of and to top it off Elsa and Captain America came! Need I say anymore! We will definitely be back to try-​out their open play fun next time around!

I love this place… My boys have had their birthday parties here. The kids have a blast, they get tired they eat and the parents thanks after ;-)
It’s fun, easy, and the best part is I don’t do anything!

Went for my daughter’s classmate birthday, pretty big playground and sure thing will be able to facilitate lots of kids + parents. BUT, not enough seating for parents that’s for sure, only couple available. And also, no food served for the parents (at least the party that we went to), should have this considered by the management, instead of having parents staring at their kids having their lunch. How much couple extra slices of pizza going to cost you vs. what you charged? OR maybe the management think all kids will drive down there themselves? C’mon now.

Pump it up summer camp! What a great place to send your kids for summer, not only they get a lot of exercise but also fun activities with different themes every week. The kids get to do art, face paintings, play games and meet a special character every Wednesday (my son was super excited to meet Spiderman today and Minion last week and my daughter is loving the Hollywood theme this week :) The owner and all the staff are very nice and friendly and they always look out for the kids. Send my two kids to camp over here and they are having a blast this summer! Highly recommended for siblings as they pair them together. My kids are two happy campers who look forward to going to pump it up Summer camp everyday!

This review is for the Pump it Up camp. We had the worst experience here ever!
Short version: They forgot my daughter in one of their rooms and left her there for a good 10 – 15 minutes all by herself. That experience not only left my daughter traumatized but now she’s untrusting of any facility except her own school. The staff running this place is unorganized, they lack empathy and professionalism, and some of them are just plain rude. Icing on the cake, my daughter told one of the camp counselors, Lauren, that she wasn’t feeling well and she needed to go home, and her response to my daughter was, you’ll have to wait, camp isn’t over yet! While the manager, Debbie, was apologetic and concerned, it still doesn’t take away from the fact that they lost my daughter. She could’ve fallen, she could’ve hurt herself, she could’ve fainted in the corner, and no one would’ve known! Don’t trust these people with your kids!
Long version: I dropped my 5 year-​old daughter off on Monday and when I went to go pick her up, she was no where to be found. All the other kids from her camp class were all there except her. I asked one of the staff members that was watching the kids, where my daughter was, he shrugs his shoulders and asks me if I dropped my daughter off to camp. I’m sorry, WHAT!!! I ask him to open this closed door that I saw, and he says he already checked and no one is in there. I start creating a scene when panic kicks in and I really can’t find her anywhere. Debbie (the manager) starts noticing and takes me around the whole facility to look for her. I’m back at that closed door and since that was that was the one place I hadn’t checked, I ask her to open it. Even though the room looked empty, I start screaming my head off, yelling my daughter’s name and there she pops up from one of the slides. She comes out burning with a 103 fever (which I later found out because I took her to the MD right away after leaving Pump it Up). She tells me they all left her there and went to the other room, and Lauren wouldn’t let her go home when she told them she wasn’t feeling and asked them to call me. I don’t understand how a facility that has arranged a camp for kids does not keep count of how many kids are entering/​leaving a room. To them my daughter didn’t even exist. They didn’t even have the decency to call me when my daughter wasn’t feeling well! If I had gotten there any later than I did, my daughter would’ve just been sitting in there for, god knows how long, all by herself with a burning fever. Like I mentioned in the short version, Debbie was very apologetic but that still doesn’t take away from the fact that they forgot a child under her clock and left my daughter traumatized and alone!
I’m sure this is a fine facility for kids when the parents are there, but do not trust these people with your kids!!!
(On a side note, there was a parent there whose child had gotten into a fight with another child, so bad that the child’s shirt was all bloody, and the staff didn’t even bother calling the parents. Go figure!)

I thought this one was pretty clean compared to others I’ve been too. Was there for a kid’s birthday party, and I observed how the workers played with the kids in the jumpers which I thought was pretty cool. I also liked how they use an air freshener to keep the place smelling fresh!

Have been here many times (including my sons birthday) and always have a good time. Tonight, there were some really rough kids at the open play session. When I spoke to the manager about it, she was concerned and reacted right away. She went into the room, had all the children sit, and went over the safety rules. I was impressed at how it was immediately handled. We will definitely continue to come back, especially now that we have seen how much they truly value the safety of all their guests!

It’s ok. We had a birthday party and it was so expensive compared to what you get. And now we have attended their «New Years Party» and it was ridiculously expensive and way too many kids. Counting this place out for good?

We love this place! I bought a pass on Groupon or Living Social or something so we could visit during open bounce (which is only Tuesday nights for us working parents). It is always clean, smells nice, the music is fun and the staff PLAY WITH THE KIDS.
My son HAD to have his birthday party here and I’m glad we did.
The party package was average priced when comparing to the other places we have had his parties. The staff were very organized, nice and HAPPY! Everything was kept on schedule, and as a mother I had hardly anything to do but enjoy. They set up my decorations, served the food, cut the cake and cleaned up — efficiently and exceeding my expectations. (I’m a party planner and bit of a control freak and have not had this experience anywhere else). They even wrote down the gifts my son received and who they were from!
Another bonus was that I could hire a minion character to surprise the kids and it was SO affordable!
One of the best offerings from the party package, was that the Pump It Up staff take photos for you during the play time, then they show it as a slideshow during food/​present time! They emailed me the link and I got to share the photos with all of the parents and included prints in the thank you cards.
Everyone (even the adults) had a wonderful time! Thank you thank you, HIGHLY recommended.

This was a great venue for our friends to have their daughter’s four-​year-​old birthday party! We’ve been to Pump it up parties in the past at different locations and this party was by far the most organized one yet.
We had a smaller group with approximately eight or nine little girls total all around the same age, so it was nice to not have older kids getting too physical and wild around my daughter like at past parties. I could tell that all of the kids had a great time and the hosts that were assigned to our group did a great job at keeping the flow of the party moving along well as well as keeping all of the kids involved and entertained.
I would definitely consider having a party here in the future for my daughter.

Awesome! Perfect place to take the kids to get there energy out! I was recommended pump it up by another mom, I was immediately excited to take my two and a half year old he loves to jump and slide! They have things for all ages my son had so much fun ran jumped slid played with ball pit it was perfect for a hyperactive kid! My favorite part is the staff there not just standing around yelling at kids telling them the rules they play with the kids run around with them while keeping them safe, I had to send them in a jumper twice to help my two year old who couldn’t climb up one of the stairs. They were extremely helpful the venue was extremely clean plenty of room to let them explore. Bathrooms spotless tables to eat snacks at vending machines if they get hungry! I will definitely be back! We found our new favorite spot to play!

Bounce House Party
I was attending a Birthday Party for my niece. There were about 25 attendees and about 15 kids.
Check in was easy, You just sign a waiver for your child and get ready to party.
Our group was escorted into two bounce house rooms at about 30 minutes at each room. Then to a party room, where we had lunch.
The bounce houses and slides were very clean.
It was suitable for all ages and they even had one for really young kids.
The food I believe was mostly outsourced. We had Pizza, fresh fruits and salad.
Food was okay, the variety of pizza was very good. Mostly cheese and pepperoni for the kids and the adults got to enjoy ones with olives & mushrooms, hahaha. Not too popular with the kiddies. lol
I think where they excelled was in the Service Department. They had two dedicated employees cater to the kids. They organized games and kept all the kids engaged. They also took pictures while the kids were playing and they showed the pictures on a flat screen while everyone was having lunch.
They shuttled everyone from room to room nicely and they even served as host and helped out with the food and the cake. Excellent Service.
They help out after the party as well. Providing a cart for all the gifts and left over food and drinks.
What a difference a day made, after attending a terrible birthday party for my other niece the day before. This is how a kids party should be done.
Emphasis on Kids having fun, not restrictions.

I was looking for something to do my our twin boys that would help get rid if some energy. After reading the Unilocal reviews I decided to try this place out. The Anaheim location is closer to me but they never answered their phone. Lucky for us! We got there for open jump. One of the staff members was there with us the entire time. I didn’t get his name but he was awesome! He helped my littlest one down slide and got them accustomed to the place. I have nothing negative to say. The biggest positive is that my kids didn’t fight me at nap time. We will be back!

This place is great!
Let me just start off with I wasn’t even going to have a second bday party for my son but I decided to last minute and so many moms recommended this place so I went ahead and booked a party. Wow am I glad I did!
So where do I begin. Well the first thing that I loved was how the play/​jump house room was enclosed. Yup! It’s private and parents have little to no fear of their kids taking off. The jump houses definitely keep them occupied enough but still it’s a nice feeling that everyone is safe and out of harms way. It’s huge and in each room, there are TWO by the way, there are so many choices for the kids. They also have hula hoops and an mated area to dance around on.
The second thing, and the main reason why I booked here, is they do EVERYthing for you. Minus the cake. Now it can get a little pricey but it comes out to what you most likely would have paid out if you had planned it all out yourself. As a pregnant mom I didn’t want to do anything not even goody bags. Lol. I did end up making a treat as the kids party favor but that took me only 10 minutes of prep time start to finish. Anyways! So they made things simple and easy for me. Not even my husband had to do one thing. Well besides load the car with the gifts.
And I would personally like to thank the staff too. They were just fantastic. Always made sure the party ran on time, asked me if I needed anything and also took charge. In which in this case I was ok with because like I said I didn’t want to do anything. Max and Cassidy helped us out during the jump
House part of the party and Lauren was a big help during the pizza and cake part. Courtney at the front desk was very pleasant and Monica was fabulous over the phone.
Not one complaint from this mom! Nope! Not one!
Pump it up lake forest was a fantastic birthday party experience and I will definitely recommend to my other mom friends. And we will most likely book again in the future.

Story time here is amazing!
As a mother and child care provider, I’m constantly on the look out for exciting, affordable places to take my little buddies. We’ve been to every toddler friendly play place within the 92 653 area.
Pump It Up is definitely the best bargain around! Theres two rooms full of bounce houses, obstacle courses, ride on toys, huge slides and air canons that shoot balls. For $ 8, you get two hours of play followed by a (provided) snack and a bottle of water, a balloon and story read by one of the friendly staff members.
The staff here is great! They engage the children around them and its nice to have an extra pair of hands to help you out and encourage your kids to try new things.
They were so friendly and helpful! I can’t wait to go back! Definitely thinking of making this a weekly outing!

Had our son’s 4^th birthday party here over the weekend. The staff was amazing — they were so friendly and fun with the kids and really informative to me (not having ever been to a Pump It Up). The right hand always knew what the left hand was doing.
The kids had time to jump and play on their own and then there was an optional dodge ball game with various size beach balls. In the 2^nd room, a game of hide and seek was played. There were plenty of things for the smaller kids too. They don’t charge for adults to go and play or help with the kids (which I was not expecting — most places want to charge for any little thing they can).
The facility was clean and the air was perfect — not too hot, not too cold! The staff were taking pictures throughout the entire party and I didn’t know what they were doing, but when we went in to eat lunch, they had a slideshow playing of all of the pictures they took! They were, of course, for sale for $ 15. I don’t feel that price is too steep and the pictures looked really nice — they even had pictures of the cake in there!
A staff member allowed me to help set up the eating area and I could decorate a little — she wanted to make sure it looked acceptable to me and that I was satisfied (which I totally was). Once everyone was brought into the room to eat, the staff served the kids! I was NOT expecting that! They brought pizza slices around to each child and asked if they wanted chips/​fruit/​veggies — everything available. It didn’t stop there — they continued to monitor the kids eating and would offer more or ask if they wanted anything additional
They helped pass out cake and cupcakes. We asked if we could open a few gifts and I couldn’t believe this — they wrote down what gift was opened and who it was from!!!
When we arrived, we were assisted in taking everything out of the car and when we left they brought everything out to our car for us!
Honestly, had I known it would be like that, I would have brought extra cash to slip the staff as they were all young and I’m sure would appreciate any extra dough especially around the holidays. We did add gratuity at the end, but I’m not sure how that gets split up and I would have done both gratuity and cash.
Would 100% recommend this location for a party!

Had our birthday party here today following 3 of our friends parties recently.
The main reason I am giving this place 5 stars is their team. TJ, Kyle and Lauren are amazing party hosts. They played with the kids for 1.5h in two different arenas and the kids loved it. We received lots of help with setting everything up and wrapping up the food and gifts after the party was over. Even during cake and dinnerr time in the party room they kept the party lively. Can highly recommend this location.
