I had always thought that finding an honest mechanic is as rare as seeing a Unicorn until I found this auto shop from Unilocal.
I have been Kourosh’s customer for the past 4 years now. He was the only mechanic to figure out what the issue was with my previous car and fixed it. Even the dealership could not figure out the problem…
I have an extended warranty on my current car. If I didn’t, I would have taken my car to Kourosh for everything.
He charges very reasonably as well. If you need to get a quote, he is just a phone call away. If you love your car as much as I love my cars, you need to give his shop a visit for any car repair needs…

Kudos to Kourosh for being the example of what it takes to be a great mechanic I feel like I have my own pit crew… I Just bring my car in for whatever service I Just now got a flat so it’s going to need alining I have a 2011 convertible 328i I actually look forward to bringing my car in knowing he is the only man for the Job… basically i’m at ease and in control of the situation when anyone else would be very upset or mad.

Kourosh is very honest, respectful, and VERY fair with his prices. I’ve been taking my cars (Audi A4 and Honda Civic) to him for regular service/​maintenace and for off-​shoot repairs for more than a couple of years now. He and his team can work on any type of car and fix nearly any issue. Highly recommended.

R and S Auto, in particular Kourosh, are some of the most honest, genuine people you will find! I’ve been taking my benz to him for several years and he’s always done a thorough and fair priced job. Even recently had a nagging check engine light that he fixed for free! He’s runs his business like all business’s should be run and that’s why he’s got a loyal customer base.

I have took my car and my friend’s car here total of 4 times and every single time I was impressed with the quality of the job, price and customer service. Just as an example, I took my friend’s car for AC problem. To make a long story short, a mechanic had charged her before, just to face the same problem in 6 month and he took no responsibility for it. After that I took her car to pep boys for free diagnose just to hear the same problem, then I brought the car to R & S and Kourosh looked at it, finally diagnosed the issue correctly and his price was cheaper too. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and this is the only place I will take my car for as long as this team is there.

I decided to come here based on their reviews and how close they are to my office. My service light was on and I knew if I took my car to Honda they would charge me $ 200 to replace things that didn’t need to be replaced.
R&S not only took a look at everything for me but also told me that everything looked great and all I needed was an oil change! Great to know that I’m not being ripped off and I will definitely be back for my future car service needs! You have definitely built my trust in your work:)

I began taking my Jaguar to Kourosh soon after purchasing it in 2004. His shop was not only closer to my home but much less expensive than the dealer.
Kourosh is so easy to do business with. I simply jot down things I want him to look at, take my Jag over, park it and drop the keys and note in the box and he calls me when it’s done. He also tells me what needs to be done to each thing I list and the cost before he begins the repairs.
Kourosh is truly an experienced, honest mechanic and I plan to keep on using his service as lomg as I own my Jag.

Been using them for several years. #1 they are honest, this is very important. #2 their prices are reasonable. #3 they are creative and intelligent in solving problems (A dealer might want to replace or change much more but R&S will find a way to fix just the part that’s missing or do something creative (no, not jury-​rigging it) to get it done for less). We take our Jaguar and now our Toyota there.

This shop is fantastic. The owner is honest and has integrity. They won’t do work you don’t need. With a shop rate of 75/​hour you can’t go wrong.

They are honest and competent. I believe they work on most makes of cars. They at least work on German cars because I’ve taken both my VW Passat and GTI there.
As of the end of 2010, I believe their hourly rate for labor is $ 75. I think the range for mechanic shops are about $ 95-​$ 115 an hour.

It is very rare to find a good mechanic with the kind of integrity that R&S Auto Care in Lake Forest has. I have gone there since 2002 with a couple different vehicles, and I trust them implicitly. They always get to the root of a problem without giving up. I now live and work farther away from them than when I first discovered R&S, but still go out of my way to give them my business. It’s well worth the minor inconvenience.

This a terrific place to take your car, no matter the make or problem. I have been taking my cars there for about five years with excellent results, including resolution of some very unusual and difficult problems. I have found them not only highly skilled but also completely honest; if they can save me money by using alternate parts or rebuilding something rather than replacing it, they do it. I send all my friends there and recommend them to all of you.
