ABC Fine Wine & Spirits

Great location. The staff is extremely helpful, excellent wine selection and the girl that takes care of the wine selection has a lot of knowledge.
You won’t be disappointed with their beer selection, including the craft beer.

The staff here is extremely helpful, and they have a huge selection. This is one of the larger stores, so they are pretty well stocked. They have a big refrigerated section for your grab-​and-​go cold beverages.
I just picked up several bottles of World Wide Stout, which is extremely rare and hard to find. And to make it even better, their prices are slightly lower than other big chains. Woohoo!

I am reviewing this ABC based on craft beer selection alone. I know there is a great assortment of liquor and wine here as well, but for me, this is where your average liquor store goes from mundane to extraordinary. Living in Apopka, where the ABC there is a run down clearance center, with a one shelf craft beer section, this place was a revelation. Friends of mine in the Sanford area are the luckiest around to have such a quality place, with knowledgable and friendly staff, right in their backyard.
I had a friend bring me a growler of some fantastic craft beer (Miles Davis Bitches Brew), and since I now owned a growler, I figured I better put it to some use. Yes, you read it correctly, they have a growler station inside the ABC store. You do have to purchase a growler from them (Florida laws about growler size), but they are inexpensive, and from then on can be refilled anytime. They wash them out for you there as well. If you follow Steve Crowley on twitter (@abcbeerstevec), he posts the growler station updates regularly, so you can decide if it is time for a trip up there. They have 12 on tap at any given time, and rotate them out when the keg runs dry.
As for the craft beer selection, there are aisles upon aisles of beer there for just about anyone’s taste. Get to know the staff here, they are quite knowledgable, and will help guide you in new beers you might want to try based on your preferences. They also might go out of there way to help you get some of the more unique, hard to find, high demand beers that come out every now and again. My only desire now, is for all ABC stores to emulate this outstanding store, especially in Apopka… maybe one day.

This store’s selection is vast. The appearance is inviting. The staff knows their stuff.
I was asked if I had an ABC’s card and stated I did, but had been out of the area for several years. When asked where I had been I told the gentleman «Austin, TX» to which he immediately retorted, «Ahhhhh, Tito’s Vodka».
Me, «That’s right, you know it?»
Knowledgable Gentleman, «It’s one of our most requested vodkas.»
Then someone introduced me to a certain rum that I was told was VERY hard to find. Ummm, found it and 4 other longer aged versions of it. SCORE.
I’ve been back several times since.

Located off Rinehart Road in Sanford/​Lake Mary– a ½ mile from the 46A exit off I-​4. This is a great Orlando area ABC, the newer store features the new layout and (currently) the only growler fill station in the Orlando area. You purchase an empty growler for $ 3.99 or refill your ABC growler. (You cannot bring a non ABC growler in for refill, due to the lack of a state mandated 32oz fill line)
There are 12 rotating beers on tap, available by following on twitter or checking out their menu board. Make your beer selection and enjoy! Nice selection on craft beers, wines and liquor at this location. Sale, seasonal and promotional items are well stocked. Staff is super, super nice. Cheers!

The wine guy Brian is one of the best guys I’ve dealt with. He really knows his stuff. He learned what I like to drink and has never been wrong on a recommendation. I’ve even stopped two of my wine clubs because I buy most of my wine from Brian now. This ABC has a huge wine selection.
Steve is great with the beers as well.

Beer, wine, spirits, cigars, mixers, snacks and cheese. They sell everything you need for a good time with friends. Be sure to sign up for their ABC Advantage Buying Card for sales, coupons, and tasting events. They have wine machines where you can try a 1 oz pour of wine. How long until we get this for beer? Steve the Beer Consultant is awesome at pointing out what’s new and recommending great beers. Tell him what you like and he’ll point you in the right direction. There are liquor stores, and then there is ABC.

ABC Fine Wine is no different then any other Wine store. But this particular one, and along with a few other locations, that I have been to, discriminate and their employees are racist. I do not tolerate that, nor I would ever, with that being said, I would never shop at ABC Fine Wine & Spirits ever again or recommend anyone to.

Brian did it again. Whether we have a $ 20 or $ 60 budget for a bottle of wine Brian knows what to recommend. Once again we have been pleased! Not only does he recommend wines, he always likes to take us to the wine on tap section and introduce a new wine that we may not be in the market for that day but definatley for a celebration. Not only do we leave with a great pick we also leave with a little bit more knowledge on vineyards and we love it! THANK YOU BRIAN

This store s great. They have great selections of beer and wine. This the best place to buy booze in Lake Mary.

About three months ago, when we moved back home from Boston, we signed up for ABC’s promotional stuff. We have their rewards card and get occasional fliers in the mail. One had a list of all the beer and wine tastings for the summer months. I put them all in my phone calendar but most of them we couldn’t make. A few weeks ago, however, I went with my sister’s boyfriend to a craft beer tasting at their Lake Mary location. It’s in a good spot, right off of I-​4. It’s huge and it looks to be fairly new. It’s very clean and well organized. The event was amazing! It was only $ 10 and you got unlimited samples of all the beers they had there, which was over 60. Each brewery had a little table set up and had some cold ones on ice ready to pour little shot size samples for you. Each table had at least two beers to try from that brewery. Some were actually distributors representing multiple breweries so they had 10+ beers at their tables. Most of the tables had snacks like cheese cubes and pretzels. Four Rivers BBQ was the main food vendor with a nice tent set up outside in the parking lot right next to the front door. The combination of all you can eat BBQ and all you can drink beer (good beer) for only $ 10 was a great deal. When you first checked in, they gave you a wrist band after checking ID, they gave us a list of all the tables and what beers they had. As we went along we could check off the ones we tried and write little notes about each one. There was a spot to check off which ones you wanted to buy and they had some good deals going on with mix and match six packs. At the end, on our way out they cut off the wrist band for us and they gave everybody a nice ABC pint glass for a souvenir. All in all, we had a great time and will be looking for similar events to attend at other ABC’s in the future. This particular location has a great beer selection with all the staples and a bunch of the big bottle brews that are hard to find. If you live in Lake Mary, you need to make this your go to beer, liquor, and wine store. If not, I would recommend checking out their website to see if there is a location near you. I freaking love ABC!
