Staff was wonderful! So pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and large. Breakfast was great

Normally I love this place. The hot tub was filthy, the electronics in the room weren’t fully working and breakfast was a disaster. No napkins, out of food, and worse, out of coffee.
Hyatt needs to shore this place up quickly as it isn’t up to the normal level of performance.

Everything is usually really clean at this Hyatt Place. This last visit was a little disappointing. The shower needs to have the grout cleaned. It looks dark grey in spots and really contrasts with the clean white spots. The sink area was spotless. My husband and I made time for yoga in our room and the hot tub. Unfortunately, the HDMI input in their TV wasn’t recognizing our device. We wound up watching the video on a tablet. That was tolerable. What was not tolerable was the stench of the carpet. It smelled like old musty carpet from a bachelor pad. You know, like a puke scent emanating from it. This made my yoga experience very unpleasant. The hot tub was warm, but it would have been nice if it was a little warmer. It was more like a warm bath than a hot tub… And it was dirty. This hot tub has been this way for a couple of years. I think it’s just stained but it looks terrible. I managed to get in the pool on a February evening and not freeze. It was cold… Not heated. I just decided to go «polar bear». The pool needed a bit of attention, too. There were leaves all along the bottom and floating in it.
The breakfast will hopefully save this trip. At least I know the coffee is good.
3 stars because I’ve stayed in better rooms in this particular Hyatt Place and the carpet was probably a recent problem.
Update after breakfast:
Once again, I was shocked with the strange string of disappointments. I entered the lobby for breakfast at 8:00 am. I noticed a woman with a large cart filled with many carafes of coffee. I thought I had been sent to heaven :) To my dismay (jokingly), she wheeled it all away to a meeting room. I went to get some from the normal station. I went to set up my cup with a Splenda but there were no more in the bowl. I asked the gentleman at the front and he gladly found a box to open for me. When i tried to get coffee the carafes at the back station were all empty… So I tried the other station. It was also empty. There were many people not very happy about not having coffee. This was such a major problem, especially since most of us saw the huge set– up just wheeled out of there. While the coffee situation was being taken care of, I decided to grab breakfast. There were no napkins, I grabbed the last of the forks, there was no water, no cottage cheese, and I had to wait for the main item to be replenished (bagel/​meat/​egg & cheese stack). This was the absolute worst hotel stay I have encountered in years and I travel from 35 – 45 weeks a year.
Knocked to one star.

Decent hotel, very similar to other Hyatt Place locations. We usually like to stay at Hyatt Place because the rooms are about 50% larger than a standard hotel room, featuring a nice sitting area with couches and desks. They also usually have a nice complimentary breakfast buffet, which isn’t the highest quality food, but is a convenient way to get a little something to eat in the morning. Check in at this hotel was a breeze, and the desk agent was very pleasant and helpful.

We’ve stayed at this Hyatt Place twice now, and both time it has been a good experience. Clean, basic hotel that’s a good value for the money. Great location right off of I-​95 is convenient. It’s in a quiet office park and area seems safe. Free parking. Oatmeal available for breakfast, along with the normal breakfast buffet items.
There was a note saying that they are upgrading/​updating rooms which will continue through January. We stayed in a non-​renovated room and it was still great.

After Bryan and his supervisor took care of me and my fam very well ! The night superior name David was ignorant to ask me for id And he told me it was a company policy but no one Sid that before !!! what a bad Miss communication literally he will learn how to communicate with his coworkers !!! I recommend this place for anybody in the morning but not the night unless you like a dumb supervisor !!!

What a great find in Lake Mary! From the warm welcome we received on our arrival to the friendly staff at all hours, this is definitely worth a five star rating for a convenience packed hotel. The room was spacious with a separate living area that had a large screen tv, a writing desk, and a kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was large and the beds were super comfortable. Cleanliness was the theme throughout this hotel, as it should be, but is not the case so many times!
They offer a wonderful free breakfast every morning that included hot items such as egg sandwiches and breakfast meats and Belgium waffles in addition to a full continental breakfast. The dining area is large and nicely decorated with additional seating available outside.
There is a small restaurant and bar area that is available during the day after breakfast and in the evening. There is also a grab and go area that offers a nice variety of items. We found the bar a great place to relax during our down time and the prices were great too!
Extra kuddos to the front desk staff who arranged airport transportation for us and also drove us in the van to our lunch with family at a restaurant down the street from the hotel. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience all around.

This is my second time staying at a Hyatt Place and this does not disappoint at all! The staff up front is nothing but professional and courteous upon checking in. The location of this hotel is literally right off I-​4 and in a quiet business park and literally right next to a Walgreens as well.
The rooms are nothing but clean and spacious as pictures provided! Most places charge for access to the wifi but this place is for free and their beds are comfortable!
Not too many hotels or establishments that I would give a 5-​star but you cannot resist their excellent customer service, their free wifi AND BUFFET in the morning (easily saves you $ 15 – 20 on going out)!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to be half in-​between the major theme parks and to Daytona so it’s the best of both worlds with breakfast too!

I’ve never been to a hotel with such friendly helpful staff. They went above and beyond several times when i needed something. I am so grateful. We were just so impressed.
The rooms are spacious. Everything looks new and is beautiful. The couch is comfortable. Free high speed internet is awesome. Parking is right there.
Its right next to a Walgreens, too. Which was actually really convenient. We went there several times during our stay.
Can’t say enough how pleased we are with our stay. Thank you Hyatt and staff. You guys are the best.

I have stayed here multiple times for work meetings and have no complaints! The hotel is clean, rooms comfortable, and staff accommodating and friendly. The included breakfast is much better than the standard continental breakfast. Highly recommend staying here!

This hotel is great and super clean! We came late and were so impressed. Stayed at the hilton and Miami and were disappointed! But here it was super! We loved! Recommend! And amazing service! Sad to be leaving so quick!

Highly recommend, I had a good experience here. Front desk is helpful. Parking is plenty. I did use the free wifi. They have a decent breakfast in the morning. Clean room. I can see myself coming back.

This is a great place to stay when we are in town for Nike Cup. Close to most of the fields. The staff were very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and the lobby is a good place to hang out.

I stayed here for 3 nights and appreciated the hotel for its spacious rooms, availability of coffee and light meal service 24/​7, and convenient location to restaurants and stores. The hotel was a 5-​minute walk from the Seminole Wekviva trial, which offered 14 miles of walking, running, or biking.
The room was styled in almost suite-​fasion: with a bedroom and separate area with a spacious couch, office area, and small bar area with fridge.
The rate was affordable, but had amenities of a luxury hotel – free wifi and swimming pool. The staff at the lobby were helpful with standard needs as well as custom requests.
The only problem we had was with the shower that leaked water onto the floor, but that was a minor complaint.

This is a great little hotel! I stayed here on business for a couple days and was very comfortable. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the food is good.
I was traveling during the day so the location directly off of I-​4 was ideal. Plus, the area surrounding the hotel is well developed; I was able to swing thru Dunky’s for my morning coffee, pick up ink for my printer at the Office Depot (or maybe it was Staples?) and grab dinner and a drink all within about a half mile.

Great experience for the living out of the suitcase crowd.

I am reviewing this hotel not for its rooms but for a meeting held in their conference facilities.
I attended «Chamber U» (a new member’s meeting for the Seminole Regional Chamber of Commerce) held in one of the Hyatt’s meeting rooms. The meeting room was good, the staff friendly and accommodating … you got the idea they would do whatever you needed.
I am not sure what more you could ask for … a newer hotel, great meeting space and wonderful staff.

Beautiful hotel near Orlando, but not so close you feel confined to the city. The price was unbeatable, especially when you take in to account the free Wi-​Fi, the full service breakfast included, and the area that surrounds the hotel. There were a few annoyances here and there, light switch debacle others talked about (master switch in the living room controlled all rooms), the TV channel idiosyncrasies (didn’t get CBS during the night of the National Championship game), but nothing that would ever keep me from staying here again. If you’re visiting Sanford, or Orlando, the price and the quality is unbeatable.

The same person that checked us in, was the same person who served us a drink and put out breakfast in the morning.

I have not been on business travel without my trusty Marriott points card in a long long time… well my reading public this gal has a new hotel reward card in her wallet and it belongs to Hyatt. I absolutely loved this property and hope that all the others are as nicely appointed. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating regardless of just acknowledging your daily coming/​goings or answering any question you may have. There is a bar area that serves beer and wine in the evening, a breakfast area that has fresh fruits, cereals, bagels/​toast/​english muffins, juices, coffee and even hot chocolate and a menu for items when you need to eat in versus going to one of the local restaurants.
The room is clean, has a wonderful seating area, workspace, king-​size bed and the bathroom is spacious with an oversize tiled shower. The only drawback is the typical hotel towels… not as plush as a 4-​star hotels would have but they were whitest white everyday.
There is complimentary wi-​fi, the breakfast is included in your room fee and the rates are extremely reasonable. Dear Marriott — you can keep your $ 9.95/day Internet, $ 23 breakfast with nothing a-​la-​carte, your overpriced rooms and yes, your rewards card — I’m very happy to have «seen the light.»
