I’d never bought jewelry before I had to search for an engagement ring for my bride. I’d stopped into one of the retail chain jewelers before looking on Unilocal to try to find something local and better. LO Jewelers reviews on here are absolutely correct! I received excellent service working with John, who was able to find almost the exact ring style my wife wanted, and even had offered to custom create something if that didn’t work. They brought in multiple diamonds to view and consider, then put it all together in a package that worked for my budget. No pressure sales at all, just always focused on what would make my bride and me happiest.
Needless to say we went back to them for her wedding band as well, which was also an extremely easy and positive experience. I’d recommend these guys in a heartbeat if you’re in the market for rings and fine jewelry.

I brought in a pair of earrings for repair and I was throughly impressed with
this business. They not only repaired the earrings, but also noticed gems that were
missing and replaced them at no additional cost. I was provided an excellent service

John at Lake Oswego is a rock star. I called him about losing my precious diamond necklace. he called the rep asking if they can send another on but it had been discontinued. He then called back asking for more information on it thinking I might be able to find one similar through Craigslist, Ebay, but to no avail. He said he’s continue looking for something similar. I’ve had several great experiences working with these folks. I first went in for a simple watch band because they were close and convenient. I was immediately impressed by their personal and professional service. I went back looking for Mother’s Day ideas and was pointed in the direction of what is not my wife’s favorite necklace. It’s one I would not have thought of on my own and she just loves it. Their prices are fair and the service is wonderful.

I’ve known the folks at LOJ for many years and it’s always a wonderful experience. I love supporting locally owned family businesses whenever possible. I went into Lake Oswego not knowing what I was getting my self into. I thought everything was going to be over priced and out of reach for me! I walked in gave Hannah my budget and they showed me some options, all of them great options but for me it was a little to much. They then showed me a shelf with jewelry right in line with what I had. I was immediately impressed with the quality and design of this particular jewelry, and the price was perfect. They however didn’t have exactly what I was looking for so they referred me to this particular Jewelers website to potentially find exactly what I wanted! I did just that, found what I wanted and called them back the next day! Hannah the jeweler answered and took the number down and gave the company a call! She immediately called me back and informed me that they had it but for a normal shipping it would cost x amount, and if I wanted it by Saturday (over night shipping,) it would be x amount Which to me was too much! Hannah then began to tel me that since her company liked my choice so much and some other gems they found and were going to order anyways splitting the cost of shipping for over night! So I ended up getting the piece over night to me for the same price it would have normally cost me to ship it without the wait.
Then on top of it all Hannah dropped the piece of TO my WORK!!! Thank you Hannah!

I am so impressed with LO Jewelers– my ring was damaged beyond repair, and had to be cut off. Patti found a perfect replacement diamond, and their lab made an exact duplicate of my ring! I am incredibly happy with the new ring, and would recommend LO Jewelers to everyone!

John at Lake Oswego jewelers is great. He helped me find a gorgeous new bracelet and cleaned my ring for free while I shopped! They have lots of cute things in there in every price range, I will definitely go back.

I had two insurance replacement rings done here at the same time. With the first ring, instead of replacing it, I decided to get a new setting for my wedding ring, which had been purchased elsewhere in 2001, and had been a constant source of repairs. I almost never wore it, and I wanted a ring I could safely wear and enjoy! I actually fell in LOVE with Patti’s ring! She got me the same setting as her own, which has a round center diamond, and we transferred my stone to the setting. This took a lot of creativity as the ring is meant for a round center diamond, and I have a princess cut, which was both the wrong shape and slightly too large for the setting. Oh, and I wanted it set as low as possible to avoid snags and scrapes. I wasn’t asking much at all! They were amazing, and made adjustments to the center opening and the prongs to accomodate my diamond. And Patti was very good about explaining to me what changes they had to make to the ring to make my diamond fit. The result? Not only am I crazy about my new, gorgeous, wearable, secure setting, but I get compliments almost daily! The second ring was very tricky, but they took on the challenge. My beloved grandmother’s ring had disappeared, and I had a few pictures and a short insurance video of the elaborate, unusual, and custom made ring. I held up the process as I was trying to find more photos and videos to offer in a quest to recreate almost every detail of one of my most cherished reminders of my grandmother. Not only were they amazingly patient with me, but Patti had my back every step of the way. Especially when it came to choosing the diamonds, and we discovered that my appraisal from 2000 had actually left out a .25 carat diamond! Patti tried to intervene with the insurance company on my behalf to get them to pay, since it was clearly visible in the appraisal photo, but in the end I had to pay for that diamond. She found me a beautiful diamond, and charged me insurance rates (probably less, as she was my champion)! It can be difficult to translate a vision to the person who has to actually create it and make sure it will work, and Patti is a gifted communicator, both with customers and with her «jewelry engineers» who have to translate the vision to metal and stone. We made changes, and she suggested amazing and subtle adjustments to make the ring truly special. the process took MANY months, due to me trying to find more photos and video, but they remained patient, and always friendly and welcoming. I was basically their worst nightmare, yet they couldn’t have been kinder, friendlier, or worked any harder to make me very happy. And I couldn’t be happier!!! They may sell beautiful diamonds and gems, but the people there and the talent they have are far more precious and valuable than all of the diamonds and gold that Lake Oswego Jewelers have ever had or ever will have. And no, they never asked me to write or post a review. This is my sincere gratitude, appreciation, and happiness talking! They are better than the best. Run, don’t walk to L.O. jewelers!

I had been browsing for that for that special piece of jewelry for many months leading up to my girlfriend’s birthday which also happen to fall on Valentine’s Day. So I knew this had to be one special gift. Everywhere I looked I could never find that WOW factor that I was looking for. I felt double the pressure as that special day approached. Some good friends well aware of my shopping dilemma told me about their recent wonderful experience at Lake Oswego Jewelers and strongly encouraged me to go visit them.
Being burned out and let down by the big chain stores I dragged my feet and made my way to the store where I was greeted with the nicest friendliest «at home» your part of the family type environment that I now realized I was missing out on. I explained my lack of enthusiasm sales pitches from the BIG GUYS and how I felt defeated and that my grand ideas of the WOW factor were not going to happen, boy was I wrong.
Travis and Tiah both understood my dilemma of having her birthday fall on Valentine’s Day and the importance of making this special. Before discussing price and options they first asked me what I wanted and right then I realized they were not all about the bottom line but making sure I was happy and going in the right direction of what I wanted and not interested in my credit limit as that was the first thing I was asked by other stores. Tossing around a few ideas we came up with the perfect combination of a diamond pendent necklace with her birthstone around it, accompanied by a diamond bracelet with a very small charm that was engraved with our initials. We discussed the budget and after all the numbers were crunched the final bill came in under what was estimated, so much so that I ordered a pair of diamond studs to give to her on our anniversary which was a few months down the road.
My only non positive comment would be is that I didn’t go see them sooner, but I did learn what true customer service is and that making the customer happy is truly their #1 goal.

I went to lake Oswego jewelers for an engagement ring. As far as service goes, I couldn’t ask for better. It was as if my friends were jewelry experts and helped me every step of the way. I’m unfamiliar with jewelry, but I felt that the ring I chose in the end was everything I wanted it to be.

My experience at Lake Oswego Jewelers could not have been more enjoyable. My fiancé visited LO Jewelers completely clueless (as I can only imagine) when it comes to jewelry shopping. Everyone that works here is so knowledgable and passionate about what they do and knew exactly what he was looking for, even if my fiancé didn’t! They helped him narrow the choices down to the one ring that he thought was the right fit. On his way home, Tiah called him to tell him to turn around — they had found a ring they felt he’d love a lot more. And thank goodness they called! I am so unbelievably in love with the ring they helped my fiancé decide on. They know their stuff!
After the festivities of the proposal had subsided, it was time to get my rings sized. I have abnormally small fingers and they were able to make it work! It was such an easy process. The ring was ready within a week, and they even stayed a little late so I could pick it up after work! I am so beyond impressed and happy with our experience at Lake Oswego Jewelers. I cannot wait to go back to get our bands! And I’m sure every other anniversary ring down the road. ;)

I went to LO Jewelers looking for an engagement ring. After browsing at some of the larger jewelry stores and looking online, I decided I wanted a more personable shopping experience. I looked at reviews for jewelry stores on Unilocal,and found LO Jewelers to have all 5-​star reviews. Everyone mentioned how helpful they were, and Travis was mentioned by name in several of the reviews.
Shopping for an engagement ring can be scary, and daunting. I walked in to LO jewelers expecting to get sales pitches and persuasions to pick a ring at that moment. Instead I met Travis, who shook my hand and asked what brings me in. The experience he gave me was not of a retailer, but of a friend with a wealth of knowledge about rings and diamonds trying to help me find the best ring for my soon-​to-​be fiancé. He discussed the styles of bands, what to look for in a diamond, and what kinds of things to look for in a jewelry store. He even went so far as to let me walk out of the store with diamonds and rings so that I could see them in the sunlight rather than the artificial store lights. I wasn’t planning to buy a ring at the first small store I went to, but after this experience I had complete confidence that this is where I wanted to buy. We looked online at bands, Travis recommended different designers based on the styles I preferred, and he special ordered them in so I could see them in person. Once I had chosen a style, he had me wait until I knew what size I should get by drawing a tracing of my fiancé’s rings and sending them to him before he ordered what I wanted. All that was left was to find a diamond.
I had told Travis that I wouldn’t be proposing for about 6 months. We talked about what I would like in a diamond and my price range, and he also made recommendations on what qualities are important. With a certain criteria developed, Travis went to diamond shows all of the country, and specifically looked for diamonds that met my criteria. Six month later, he had picked out the perfect diamond for me. I immediately approved and he presented me with the final product.
After I proposed, I brought my fiancé in to the jeweler to have the ring resized (turns out her hands are incredibly tiny), and was met with congratulations from everyone in the store. Travis’ mom and wife were also there to congratulate my fiancé and offer advice on sizing. Travis went out of his way to have the ring resized that same day because my fiancé was flying to California, and also gave us a congratulatory bottle of champagne and wedding catalogs for her to look through.
All in all, LO Jewelers went above and beyond what I could have ever expected. Travis was incredible to work with, and I can’t thank him and everyone else there enough. They made the entire experience a story that I will remember forever. Thank you all so much, and I wish you the best with your business.

My husband and I came here for our wedding rings, and a year later my husband got me a new ring from them for my birthday.
When we went in the first time, they treated us like family and helped us find the perfect rings.
When my husband went the second time, they bent over backwards to make sure the ring he picked was ready in time.

I’ve used Lake Oswego Jewelers for several years now and they continue to be a friendly, creative and wonderful place to do business. There’s no high-​pressure, uncomfortable sales environment here… it’s just like hanging out with friends and talking about creating something beautiful.
I worked with Travis to custom make an engagement ring based on one I saw in a catalogue. What they ended up creating was amazing and my wife, to this day, still marvels at her perfect ring.
They also worked with us to create our wedding bands, reusing old diamonds from a family ring. All along treating us with respect and helping us creating pieces of jewelry that will be with our family for a very long time.

First of all I must preface this by saying I am not a jewelry person. I know nothing about jewelry, other than it’s expensive and I don’t wear it.
I was however in need of some jewelry for my girlfriend, and absolutely lost. I tried stopping by some mall jewelers and was totally overwhelmed. I tried shopping for jewelry on the internet but I couldn’t really spend that kind of money without seeing something. I started asking friends for recommendations. Well in all honesty I started asking my friends girlfriends for recommendations because most all of my friends are like me. Jewelry dumb. If we had our ways our girlfriends would be excited for the new xbox we bought them…
Through several of my friends and their girlfriends, Lake Oswego Jewelers came highly recommended. I hid my debit card and check book and ventured into the little shop on State ST in LO. I had looked up online tips on how to get the best deal in a jewelry store. I read up on carats (not carrots) and colors and cuts and GIA.
I was so pleasantly surprised that although the knowledge was helpful, the wonderful staff explained to me everything I needed to know. I came in and gave them a budget and instead of being showed items way beyond that budget, I found the perfect bracelet and bought it UNDER BUDGET!
They respected me as a person, and a jewelry idiot, and helped me get the perfect item for my girlfriend. I would recommend this LO Jewelers to anyone.

–The friendly staff is amazing to work with. I never felt rushed, or like they were trying to milk money out of me. They respected my budget and found me the perfect item UNDER it.
–I’m a jewelry idiot, but they seemed to have a lot of items in my low price range, and there was a lot of other things. Seems to have a really amazing selection.
–The staff was so patient with me and my lack of knowledge. I really appreciate them educating me and explaining things to me
–Value!!! When I heard it was in Lake Oswego I was worried that you had to have a Lake Oswego wallet to afford anything there. After I purchased the bracelet I kinda poked around at other places to make sure I got a deal. The pricing was well below any where else I could find something similar.
Cons:
–The only con I have is now my girlfriend expects amazing jewelry every time we have a milestone.
