I’ve always just popped in to the closest nail salon when I had time, but I found Lily and Lamour this Summer and I will never go anywhere else again! They take such great care of me every time. They know exactly how I like my fills and even stock the Special colors I prefer. It doesn’t matter if the salon is slow or packed when I visit, I get the same great detailed care regardless. They never rush thru a fill because there are others to attend to. My husband loves it to he gets jealous if I go in without him! Besides the great mani /​pedis, once you’ve had the neck and hand massage that EVERY treatment includes no other salon will compare for you either! Five star treatment for such low prices. Don’t forget to try ALL they offer, the waxing, tanning, and facials are a well kept secret but just as fabulous as the rest of their services!

I never write reviews but because it was SO BAD I m trying to warn others. They charged me $ 40 for a 20 minute pedicure and the massage was painful. Go somewhere else.

As a guy automatically I’m skeptical about these kinds of places, especially when it comes to «Feet» i get nervous. that being said… Guys understand that this place has made me a true believer in humility and compassion. Nina (my stylist) is un-​challanged in the art of pampering hands and feet alike she’s awesome and i wouldn’t go to anyone else! Lilly does my friend Terra’s and I’ve never heard her complain not once. They have the best massage chairs you’ve ever sat in, coupled with a foot bath that is so revitalizing that you never want to leave. it’s basically a weekend getaway right here in Portland. So if your looking for an affordable, non-​judgemental, respectful, clean and comfortable place to get cleaned up fingernails-​toenails you’ve found the right spot here at L’ Amore!

L’Amour Spa is hands down the best nail salon ever. It’s my go to spot; everything they do is great, manicures. pedicures. you name it! The shellac manicures are my favorite, they don’t chip easily and if they do the staff are always happy to fix it up within 1 – 4 days of getting it done. They take walk ins but its best to make an appointment ahead of time; schedule with Lily!

Lily and her husband do an incredible job running the shop 7 days a week! They strive for excellence and always find a way to fit you in last minute, however appointments highly recommended because they are so popular and in demand. I can go anywhere for my shellac but they do the best job by far, with a massage and the extra care for all there customers. A year later, I recommend everyone go to them. From Danny to Nina, Ken, all the techs are talented and efficient to get you in and out quickly but not without quality work, every time! I go weekly because they won me over for all the extra care they provide.

This beautiful spa is pristinely clean and the staff are superb. I am a loyal customer of Lily’s and have been pleased with her consistently perfect work for many months. I highly recommend Lamore spa. All customers get a shoulder and neck rub with each manicure.

I have been a loyal customer here for the past two years. When I first started coming here the service was excellent– the pedicures were great, the manicures were great and I never felt rushed. Yesterday I had a fill and a worker cut three of my fingers while sanding my nails! There was a little blood (gross) but it was so painful– in fact it still is and stung today while washing my hands! The owner took over and apologized but never offered me a discount, which is fine because I took it upon myself to leave a smaller than usual tip. Overall, I think this place is pretty good but I am definitely on the look out for someplace better!

This was my GO TO spot for shellac manicures and pedis for years but over the past 8 – 9 months they’ve hired new people and there really is no comparison anymore. The shellac mani is supposed to last at least 2 weeks and I’ve had several that haven’t even made it a week. But the worst part is that there were definitely a few times that my nails haven’t been evenly filed and when I pointed it out, I got attitude.
The final straw was a french shellac where three of my nails were completely uneven and the paint was not even close to even on two nails– sorry if there’s only a white stripe for people to see, they’ll be able to see it.
Shame to have lost this place off my list as the owners are very gracious and accommodating but I just couldn’t stand for a Russian roulette manicure.

Nails was not evenly shaped. I was told that I won’t be charged extra for the French tip (same manicure price) but then it was added to my total as if he forgot what he offered to me. Otherwise the folks where nice but I am not a fan of people talking across the salon as they are working on their clients, makes it difficult to relax in that environment. It is my fourth visit but will try another place next time.

My experience here was substandard. I expected a quality classic manicure after reading previous reviews. A young girl did my nails today. The entire process took 10 minutes. A classic manicure was: cut, file, paint. She never took off my old nail polish or scraped the filed nail pieces out from under my nails. No lotion or hand massage. $ 15 plus tip.

I was tired of my primary nail salon’s resistance to accept cards as payment so I decided to give Lamour a shot.
I got a shellac manicure and they definitely get points for a huge variety of colors to choose from.
The manicure itself was fine, but I personally wasn’t a fan of the half-​hearted «massage» back rub. I felt like a drunk college girl being consoled by my equally drunk friend while I threw up. It was super awkward and I probably would’ve paid more to make it stop.
While my nails looked fine immediately after, they’ve since split on the ends of 4 nails! I’ve gotten a million shellac manicures and never had this issue. I’m not sure what caused this but I’m holding it against Lamour. In less than a week since the manicure, they’re completely chipped. What’s the point of spending the extra cash for gel when it doesn’t last like it is supposed to?
I’ll be headed back to my regular salon after all.

I got The Classic Pedicure and it was a wonderful experience. I especially enjoyed the paraffin wax treatment and leg/​foot massage. Each time I visit, I have been given great pedicures. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The only negative is they do try to push additional services on you. However if you’re clear about what you want they stop being pushy. I plan to return for future pedi’s.

Love this place! The people are so friendly and everyone does a great job. I’ve had several manicures, shellac manicures and pedicures and have never been disappointed. The mani services include a quick neck rub while your nails dry. Amazing!

L’Amour Spa is hands down the best in Lake Oswego! Their staff is friendly, if they don’t understand something you say, they’ll get another staff member to answer your question. Communication is important to them! Of all the services they have, I really enjoy their Deluxe Pedicure, it has a 20 minute massage and a mask they put on your legs! Though the regular also has a paraffin wax which I usually have to pay for in other places. Lily is my favorite, she does a great French Tip.

If you need a brow wax and tint do not hesitate to visit Lily. She did an absolutely beautiful job on my brows today. L’Amour is immaculate, inexpensive and professional. This is my new salon for waxing.

I have been coming to this salon for a couple years now and up until just recently was always satisfied. They have hired on some new people who do sloppy work and rush thru the pedicures. I will give them one more chance, but will likely go elsewhere soon.

Stooped in for first time. Asked for shellac French with a nail design. Was directed to a selection of designs. I chose my design and it was a beautiful pink and white flower. When it was time to do the design, I was told by the owner «she will do a pretty flower for you». I was thinking it would be the pink and White beautiful flower as in the example they had displayed. The lady ended up doing a black flower design that looked NOTHING like the chosen design. Wasnt what I asked for at all. If you can’t do the design, say so! Disappointed for sure.

I have been to both Mt. Park and down town L.O. my shellac at Mt. park lasted 3 weeks +, pricing was confusing but I did get a neck massage. l got a shellac down town 1 week ago and its chipped or pealing. Not sure if I could get them redone or just never go back!

I was a potential customer and this is a satisfaction review. Yes, my gift certificate expired… however, I am disappointed that the spa failed to honor it regardless of how long it has been. Bummer for me and bummer for them.
