History

Established in 1995.

Cheryl Mascola, salon owner, stylist and colorist, has been in the salon industry for nearly 30 years. With 5 generations in hair and beauty, it was a natural choice for Cheryl to open her own salon. She has worked with the Miss Oregon Program for many years and was the hairstylist for Miss America winner, Katie Harmon, and local organizations like Dress for Success, Breast Friends, a cancer support organization and the American Heart Association are all supported by Cheryl and the 21 stylists and technicians at Mascola’s Salon. All of Mascola’s stylists and technicians have over 350 years of combined knowledge in art of hair design and salon services. Business Owner

Hello, my name is Cheryl Mascola and I have been in the beauty salon industry as a stylist for over 40 years and as the owner of Mascola’s Salon for 17 years. My two daughters, Kristi and Jennifer work with me and so does my brother Steven. We represent the 4^th and 5^th generation of hair on the Mascolas side. I knew when I was 12 years old I wanted to be a stylist. I grew up in the industry with my grandmother be a salon owner/​stylist and my grandfather being a barber/​owner. At 16 I started my cosmetology training during my junior and senior year of high school. My middle daughter Keri Murphy, is a life coach and motivational speaker. She advocates that no matter what you choose to do in life to follow your passion. After all these years I still love what I do. Nothing brings me more joy, besides my grand kids, to make a client feel more beautiful. I am very blessed to have such a professional staff and stylists that work along side me.
