Hasson Company, Realtors® has achieved its longevity and stability through a healthy business model and smart business practices. Consistently coming in first in the nation for average sales volume per agent, Hasson Company, Realtors® is the only locally owned and operated full-​service real estate company in Oregon and Southwest Washington that competes with regional and national firms.

In 1983, University of Oregon graduate Mike Hasson launched Handel, Hasson & Jones, a small residential real estate firm in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Eight years later, Hasson formed Hasson Company, Realtors®, originally comprised of 12 professional real estate agents.

Since then, the company has grown to over 225 full-​time agents in offices located throughout the Portland metro area, Southwest Washington, and Central Oregon.

Business Owner

Mike Hasson is a native Oregonian. After graduating from the University of Oregon, Mike pursued his passion for business and real estate. In 1983, he launched Handel, Hasson & Jones, a residential real estate brokerage, in Lake Oswego. During that venture, Mike earned a reputation for smart business, strong ethics, exceptional client relationships, and respect from his industry. In 1991, he formed Hasson Company, Realtors®, with its first branches in Lake Oswego and NW Portland. Throughout the company’s growth, Mike’s fundamental goals and values have remained true and he continues to support the areas in which he does business through community involvement.
