My second favorite pizza place ever, but my favorite locally. Everything here will satisfy you, from knots, to pizza, to pasta, to eggplant parm. The owners and workers are very nice. Pizza stop is a must if you live in the area.

I Love this pizzeria! Sal & Mike(the owners) are the only pizza makers… for the last 20+ yrs. so you always get a consistent pie(which can be a problem elsewhere). Bty– they have the best pizza sauce by far! 2 thumbs up

The best kept secret if you don’t know it’s there you will mis it. Small shop big flavor going there in the 70s and haven’t stopped I pass at least 5 pizza places before I get there. Friendly staff limited parking.

I love when you walk into a pizza place and there is a charming old Italian man behind the counter ready to make your pizza – this is always the case at Pizza Stop. The pizza they make tastes like the authentic Neapolitan pies that you would get in Southern Italy: a flavorful thin crispy dough with a luscious semi-sweet sauce and just enough cheese. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years for pies and have never been disappointed. This place is by far the best pizza you can get within a ten mile radius of the Selden/Farmingville area. During my last visit, I decided that Pizza Stop finally deserves to make my list of best pizza places on Long Island. So here is the updated list: 1-Emilio’s(Commack) 2-Gino’s(Long Beach) 3-Umberto’s(New Hyde Park) 4-Colosseo’s(Port Jefferson) 5-Branchinelli’s(Hauppauge) 6-Grimaldi’s(Garden City) 7-Rosa’s(Port Washington) 8-Ciro’s(Hauppauge) 9– La Scala(Commack) 10-Mamma Santina’s(Brightwaters) 11-Pizza Stop(Farmingville) 12-Sputino —(Dix Hills) 13-Carlo’s Pizza —(Port Washington) 14-Filetto’s(East Northport) 15-Tony’s Pizza,(Brentwood) 16-World Pie,(Bridgehampton) 17-Patio Pizza,(St. James) 18-Brooklyn Pizza(Commack) 19-Rocco’s(St. James) 20-Little Vincent’s(Huntington & Lake Ronkonkoma)

When I was a boy, in the old country(Ronkonkoma is the old country in this story) we lived around the corner from the Pizza Stop. We ate here often, and I’m guessing we took it for granted. We moved in 1977, to Seattle. And at the time, you couldn’t get anything even slightly resembling a slice of pizza in Seattle. Last year, my father and I went back to Long Island to visit my grandmother as we often do, but this time… we decided to take a ride over and see if Pizza Stop was still there. I remember the ride over, starting to get butterflies in my stomach, and as we turned left off of Holbrook road, on to Portion… I could actually taste it again. When we pulled up, it looked exactly as when we left… and my dad and I went in. I started with a cheese slice, just to test the waters… but I couldn’t stop, I had to keep trying different slices… and as we sat there, grunting, and moaning from pure joy. I had a pizzagasm… it all came back the flavors, the structure of the slice all perfect! We chatted with the owners a while, then drove away. I went back last year with my wife… a California girl who has learned through me the difference between a slice of pizza, and a slice of NY pizza. She LOVED it too… this place is great! GO Here. I’ll be back soon.

The BEST pizza place! Not just on Long Island, but in America. I’ve been going here since I was a small child, and 30+ years later, nothing compares. Everything is perfection… the crust, the sauce, the cheese. Amazing. Mike and Sal are awesome. So are all the kids that work there. Even if you haven’t been there in awhile, they remember you and make you feel like a hometown hero. I’ve been raving about this place since I met my husband and he absolutely agrees with me. I wish they delivered. I’d never have to cook again.

I enjoy their pizza. Solid tasting slices — both regular, square and Brooklyn varieties. I’ve also eaten the«loaded knots»…very tasty. Crust was crispy. Sauce was good.

Still don’t get it. Ordered again, figured I would give it another shot. Got a square pie, sauce is ok but the pie just had no flavor and it was way to soggy again. Last time for me.

This place came highly recommended by a local. Super-good pizza! Excellent service. When the owner heard that I have a dietary restriction, he made a whole fresh pizza with a slice of it just to accommodate me! Very sweet.

4.5 Stars. I was in the area for business and my colleague from out of town was craving some NY pizza. After a quick search of the surrounding area I came upon Pizza Stop. A odd name, but who really gives a shit. It’s nothing worse than: «Generic name’s» Pizza. So this place has good reviews, but being a city boy I’m a bit skeptical as most LI places are bench marked vs. other local establishments. The pizza here I must say was excellent. I had a plain, grandma and Brooklyn. The crust on all 3 were what crust is supposed to me. The only thing was that the plain had a little too much cheese, but I can probably guess that’s what the locals prefer. 2 guys behind the counter were very friendly. Nice to know one can still get a slice for a decent price. Would repeat.

Best pizza in Ronkonkoma, HANDSDOWN. Blows the doors off those other 2 places people like just because they stay open late for the drunk crowd. Very high quality cheese, and a nice sweet sauce in a perfect balance. The two older dudes in there are good guys, and the dude at the counter is always nice to deal with. Highly recommend.

Best Pizza in Ronkonkoma! The prices aren’t bad and the food is delicious! Try the grilled chicken panini, they make it with homemade garlic bread and it’s so good! The staff is really friendly as well, definitely try this place!

We were out on Long Island visiting family and decided that we wanted pizza for lunch. My brother-in-law suggested Pizza Stop(he lives 3 minutes from here) and we were glad he did. We ordered a large cheese pizza. It was a good size, all the slices were big. And the taste, delicious! It was also very cheesy, I needed a knife to separate the slices. My only complaint is that the dough was a bit on the soggy side. I like my crust crispy. But with that kind of flavor, I can tolerate soggy dough. I definitely would get pizza from here again when we’re back in the area.

First time I ever came here I thought the name Pizza Stop was kind of odd. Since that first visit I stopped thinking it was odd and always just indulged in pizzeria godliness. My favorite thing is the Chicken Panini on the Focaccia bread he makes on Tuesdays. It’s grilled chicken, fresh mozzarella, and roasted red peppers with balsamic on thin, crunchy, garlicky focaccia. So delicious! Also a side of 4 garlic squares with a cup of sauce. Oh my I die and goto Heaven every time I have this. The pizza especially the meatball or pepperoni or plain is phenomenal. I mean this guy shaves his meatballs and puts it on top of the pizza. His pepperoni gets so well done it curls up. Also, if you fancy pinwheels they’re good too. I’m more into the broccoli pinwheel myself. Come here and get a meatball slice or a Chicken Panini you won’t regret it!
