Always get fast and friendly service here. We have used them as our mechanic, tire store, and we always get our scheduled oil changes done here. Great place!

My experience today was excellent. I had an appointment at 8:00 and I was out of there in about an hour. Sarah checked me in this morning, and not only did she work the phones and other arriving customers but she also helped in the shop by getting tires from stock and out to the techs and balancing tires, always helping. She had a great attitude and was informative and efficient. Thanks for the great service.

I went in about a month ago to have my car aligned and instead was given a list of repairs to do first. This was great considering the needed repairs ranged from necessary to emergency levels of importance. After having my mechanic do the list of repairs, I went back in to do the alignment and was again told it couldn’t be done until something else is fixed. … That wasn’t on the previous list! Apparently they didn’t look at the suspension the first time I went in. Very time consuming! I could have gone for a walk instead!

So yes this is a negative review. Hopefully you’ll read this before visiting Big O in Lake Stevens.
I went to get my oil changed and tires rotated at this store mainly because I haven’t lived in the area long and heard through word of mouth it was a great place to go. However, my experience was awful.
It started out great, walked in to be greeted by Mark or Mike (can’t remember his name) and he took care of me and we were able to get my car in pretty quick. It was done in just 30 minutes. Hooray, right? Wrong.
I went back to pay and drove my car home. The next day I’m driving to work (which is in Woodinville) from Lake Stevens and I get about halfway and all of a sudden my front right tire just stops completely. No idea why, just halts and won’t move. Luckily I was coming to a complete stop and not going 55 mph like I was or I probably would’ve wrecked big time. Anyway, I managed to get the car to the side as close as I could and I had my boyfriend come down to assist me. Turns out one of the bolts did NOT have it’s lug-​nut on it, IT WAS INSIDE MY CAR ON THE FLOOR! One of the mechanics apparently FORGOT to put the lug-​nut back on. The bolt scratched up my rotor pretty good. So we managed to get the one bolt out of the rotor and everything was good from there.
Next day, I go back in and tell them that I almost wrecked because of them and I’m not paying for any damage that they caused. They informed me that on the paper the mechanic wrote on it said I had a bad lug-​nut and bolt. THEY FAILED TO TELL ME WHEN I FIRST PICKED UP MY CAR. I said it was their fault for leaving the lug-​nut off and not telling me of the issue.
Luckily, the fixed everything for free and put me in front of a long line of cars (only reason you get 2 stars.
NOT GOING BACK HERE EVER.

We recently had around $ 1,000 in work done on my car by them over 2 different visits. Unrelated issues. They seem to be a little pricey, but they’re friendly and they can usually get us in and get the work done pretty quickly.
They also offered to drive my husband home when he was waiting for repairs one day because it was going to take a little longer than planned.
Overall, we like them and will probably use them if we need car repairs while we live here.

These guys are great. They are very friendly, quick, and honest. Their prices are totally fair. I checked out what they told me about the repairs and the cost with my brother-​in-​law who is a mechanic. They even offered to pick up my wife at our house and drive her to the shop to pick up our car when the repairs were done. I’m going to these guys for whatever repairs they can do and ask them for their opinions as to where they think I should go for anything they can’t do.

I love these guys. Yes, I said I love a tire store… We’ve only bought 2 sets of tires here, but we get all our routine maintenance done here. As the one who typically handles our car stuff, I appreciate how friendly and accommodating these folks are. They never make me feel like I’m a nuisance, even when I stop by on a freezing day because my low tire pressure light is on. They cheerfully filled up my tires for me at no charge. They didn’t even ask if I had bought them there (I hadn’t, it’s a newer car.) So yeah, lovely tire shop!

Big O went out of the way to accomidate my automotive needs, they helped me out when Les Schwab said they couldn’t do the job until the following day even when they had open bays on a slow day and my brakes were locking up on me.
Thanks Big O after 20 years of Les Schwab servicing my cars and trucks and being treated the way I was and turned away. you are now my number one choice to go to in the Lake Stevens area from now on.

They have a competitive pricing and nice staff

I’ve brought my cars here since moving to Lake Stevens and they have always done very good work and have been friendly.
The main reason for my 5 star review is their honesty.
I’ve brought a car there for air conditioning work and they flat out told me they felt it might be better for me to bring it somewhere else as this was not their speciality and even suggested a place to bring it.
I recently had some issues with my pickup truck that started a few thousand miles after I had my tune up done here. Misfires, stalling, etc.
I brought it in totally expecting to pay a high price for a repair but they came back and said they found that the batch of wires used in my tune up were part of a recall and they replaced everything done during my tune up free of charge and even found that part of the problem was a dirty sensor and they fixed that free of charge as well.
They easily could have said anything and charged me a good amount of money and I never would have known.
I highly suggest bringing your vehicles here if you live in the area.

So… I must tell you about my experience! As you know, Your pricing and customer service!
I am so DISAPPOINTED! I originally went to other BIG O TIRES store in the south end of Seattle and they had quoted me a price for just lighting after working on my car. Well, I didn’t have time to complete it that day, so as I happened to pass by your store, thought I would go get in done. I asked and told you ahead of time what my quote was. Not only did you NOT give me a written estimate (which I thought was illegal?), but the price was 4 TIMES THE AMOUNT I had been quoted only 2 weeks before that. Anyways, I voiced my opinion and let your sales team/​manager know, but your comment was only «we’re all different» I am sooo utterly disappointed. Guess I’m just another female getting taken advantage of when knowing nothing about cars and pricing. You can be assured I won’t be back.
PS. I also see you sign on the door which reads «After August 1^st, we will be closed on Sundays». I assume that’s becase you don’t have enough business. WAY TO GO!
