Tree, Stump and Shrub removal of all sizes are Chopping Block’s specialty. Also performing crown raises and light trimming, and Brush Chipping for those in need of help cleaning up their Do It Yourself Tree Projects. My stump grinder has better access than most; fits through a 30″ gate. Whether you just need a tree felled that you are not comfortable doing yourself or want me to remove a more complicated tree from start to finish with a full cleanup, then call for a free, no hassle estimate. You will be glad you did. Courteous, professional, and transparent.

I turned my longtime passion for trees and associated tree work into my small business. I enjoy the challenge of removing /​trimming trees in different circumstances on each job, making homes safer in the process.

We had Andrew and his crew remove a storm fallen cedar from behind our house, plus another small tree that had fallen previously, and grind the stumps. He and his crew did an excellent job, exactly as he had described. They were pleasant and professional… a pleasure to deal with. They were efficient and very hard working young men. Great work ethic! Any time I glanced out the windows they were all hard at work, even in the heavy rain. Andrew also held true to his (very reasonable) quoted estimate. They did a very good job of cleaning up when done as well. Andrew will definitely receive any future business from us, and we will recommend Chopping Block Tree Svc. without reservation.

We recently contracted Andrew to take down one of our taller trees that had become diseased and dangerous. It was 130 feet tall!
Andrew was awesome — obviously very experienced and extremely skilled. It was fun to watch him quickly scale the tree while taking down the branches, top the tree which landed exactly where targeted, and then descend the tree making 16 inch rounds all the way down which also landed exactly on target.
Andrew’s price was the best of four bids and I can’t imagine the job being done any better. I highly recommend Andrew and Chopping Block.

Andrew came out and gave a quick estimate on dropping and hauling our 120′ Cottonwood tree. Work was done as promised and he cleaned up very well considering the scope and location of the work.

Let’s see, first he answered the phone, then he arrived to provide his estimate, then he spent 15 minutes computing his estimate, the estimate was very reasonable, then he scheduled the work and actually showed up with his helper. If you have ever dealt with a «Tree» guy you know that you should never take any of these actions for granted.
By the way, he did a great, professional and safe removal of two trees with excellent cleanup of the job site afterwards. I highly recommend Andrew for any work you need done.

Andrew was courteous and excellent in his tree service. He communicated clearly about the job to be done, asking questions and working with me to help understand the needs of my tree trimming job. He arrived on-​time and did a detailed job trimming and removing a variety of trees. He cleaned up afterwards and wrapped everything up very professionally. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and in fact, one of my neighbors came down and asked about him and his services, and when I recommended him, he went over and gave her a bid too.
