Creekside Alehouse & Grill

I have never actually been in here but my Husband frequents here and we get take out from here weekly. The food is great. Especially love the meatloaf with mushroom gravy yum! Have also had amazing fish and chips although sometimes it is better than others, a bit inconsistent. Hubbie says the people are very nice and will whip up things on request sometimes if they have the fixings. Best food we have found in Lake Stevens.

Update! The menu underwent a change about a year ago and now their burgers are 100% angus beef. This is very popular and many people prefer this, but as a complete burger snob I do not prefer the texture of the angus beef. THAT SAID — the new menu has a great variety of items and I have never gone wrong with anything. I think this place has the best steak and blue cheese salad recipe I’ve ever tried in my life. Their home made tartar sauce is out of this world. The service is great here 90% of the time, especially if you get Beth as a server! Also a good karaōke night here!

We recently moved from Seattle to Lake Stevens, and thus began our search for a well-​priced, decently atmosphered local hangout with a good beer list. And well, this is about as good as it gets.
The food is good. The beer list IS quite impressive. The crowd is young and fresh. And the real crazy thing about bars out here in the country? They’re all family friendly! Woop!

I really like This place, the food is very good and there is a good selection of beers and drinks, the root beer here is so amazing, I can’t even put it into words, I am a rootbeer fanatic so I go in a couple times a week just for that alone. My boyfriend and his friends enjoy going here for pool and bro time. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that sometimes it takes a really long time for them to take your order when you’re eating at the restaurant part.

If first time impression is important, then the Creekside is my new best place to hang out. Micro Beer, great food,
I just moved to Lake Stevens and everyone here at Creekside has been nice, and friendly. The steak bites were tender and seasoned perfect. I am coming back to try Saturday breakfast

Worst worst worst service ever!!! Waiter (if you want to call him that) seemed to be put out that he even needed to speak to us at our table. This is the best part… Our party was 10 ladies X 2 drinks each and 3 orders of fries. Could not seem to compute what we were asking for and then bitched us out when we were trying to leave saying we never paid for the fries. Wait what? How can you not keep track of three orders of fries??? Dumba_​_​! Find a new job and don’t go to Creekside. I don’t even want to give it the one star but had to do something or it wouldn’t post

Nice and melts, and the aftertaste is just delightful enough to make you want to eat more.
Nuff said. EAT here, today… Seriously.

Excellent breakfast and Saturdays kids eat free before noon (I think). The kids breakfast is as big as some places adult portions. Always friendly service.

This place is great! A lot of friendly regulars gather at the bar for some good conversation. The bartender Brent offers excellent service, has a friendly upbeat attitude, and comes prepared with the joke of the day. You can always have a sports oriented discussion here.

Great local bar in Lake Stevens. Friendly service, awesome food and drinks. Have been here several times and the food is always excellent. Had breakfast for the first time recently and the Denver omelet was amazing! Highly recommend.

This place has amazing food! Love the patio out back! Have had lunch and breakfast here, and both were fresh, plentiful, and delicious!

Had an awful experience at creekside. Got super sick after having their blue cheese and steak salad. I have never had food poising before and hope to not ever have it again. I WILL NOT be back:(

Been here once with my son and his girlfriend. Food was good, service was good and food and drinks were served in a timely manor. My dons girlfriend and had a taco salads and really enjoyed them. My son had a burger and he loved it!

My favorite bar!!! Always rotating taps with incredible brewery nights… also every sports channel so I can watch B1G network. Family owned so if you need anything, they want to take care of you.

I’ve been to Creekside before. I used to go there with friends, occassionally, when they had people doing Karaōke on Friday nights. It was fun. But, they changed the people doing it — I don’t why — and I just haven’t gone back during that time.
When we used to go on Friday’s, I was always really impressed with the food. The burgers were excellent and the fries yummy!
However, last night, my husband and I were kid-​less and wanted to just run somewhere close for dinner. We went there.
First of all, it’s incredibly loud — which isn’t that big of a deal — we were expecting that. But, it did make me realize that a lot of it is just the poor acoustics of the building. There was a baby there (kids okay before 9 pm) that was screaming and I kept looking for it because it was SO loud — and I finally located it all the way across the restaurant from us!!! That baby was so far away — but we could hear it like it was sitting right beside us! Eek!
But, that alone wouldn’t make me give them 2 stars. The problem is that the food was not good. I ordered nachos — and, first of all, it was so ridiculously huge — it was just ME ordering them so I feel like the waitress should have given me the half portion option. Seriously — it would take 6 people to eat that whole plate of nachos. What a waste. Also, I ordered the seasoned ground meat. That stuff had to have come frozen out of a package! It was hard and cold and just tasteless. I also ordered the guacamole on the side and it was BROWN! Ugh — not good. That’s NOT what guacamole looks like, people! In all, it was so disappointing. I kept remembering how good the burgers used to be — maybe I should have tried a burger instead.
Also, our waitress, though nice, seemed to be in charge of the entire restaurant and also was working the bar? We barely saw her. There was no chance of getting anything you needed.
I don’t know if we just got an off night or if it’s really gone downhill? I’m not sure I’m anxious to try it again anytime soon.
I did give 2 stars in hopes that the burgers are still awesome…

This place is perfect if one is just looking for replenishment and nothing else. This is a dive bar, meaning there are no frills.
We were pleasantly surprised that happy hour is offered daily from 1pm-​6pm.
My wife and I each ordered a pint of Choppers Red Ale for $ 4. It’s nice to see local brews on draft. This place actually had a nice selection of local brews.
My wife ordered the Two Piece Chicken Strip Basket with Fries for $ 4 (hh) and was quite satisfied with her choice. The tenders were nice and crisp and piping hot. The fries were also hot and not at all soggy.
I ordered the Pork & Vegetable Egg Rolls for $ 6 (hh). The menu stated 6 mini egg rolls and what was actually served were 3 large egg rolls cut in half. They were over-​cooked and tasted of old fryer fat.
Overall, I would return to whet my whistle with great local brew after a hard day of playing.

Came here on a Sunday night and it seems like an ok place to watch a football game or shoot some pool. It’s quite noisy with the music, people shooting pool and talking. I’m not sure what’s up with the music but I’ve heard country, rap, rock and latin pop over the course of my meal.
We sat at the tables for dinner. Our drinks and orders were taken shortly after we sat down. Food came out in a timely manner but it took forever for anyone to come check in on us. I had fish and chips which came out scalding hot from the fryer. Aside from the fish not being salted, there was nothing memorable (good or bad) about them.
Service was virtually nonexistent after our orders were taken. It took forever to get the bill. My husband finally gave up waiting and paid at the bar. It was so slow I wrote 90% of this review while waiting for the bill.

Searching for a patio to soak up this amazing PNW weather and I found one! Tucked away in downtown Lake Stevens it was easy to miss. The bar itself seems a little run down, it’s seen it’s better days. I did notice two pool tables and some dart boards if that is your thing.
Came for a late lunch on a monday afternoon and it was slow, so it was easy to find a patio seat. Thankfully it was Happy Hour and the friendly sever suggested the steak salad and that’s what I went with. It was a smaller portion, came with caramelized onions and blue cheese. It was pretty good, a little greasy with the onions and steak which made me feel like I was not eating as healthy as a salad would imply. It can’t make me gain weight, right? Come on, it’s a salad. Did I mention the drinks were strong? I know, I know. Drinking isn’t gonna help that whole weight gain thing either. Anyway. She had a stiff pour and I was grateful to be soaking up the sun, some greasy salad and a stiff drink.
Service was good, despite being tucked away out of site she still managed to check on me regularly and I didn’t feel ignored. Price was all happy hour, which makes me and my wallet happy. I would go again for happy hour, or the patio.
