Good place to get your vehicle fixed and/​or looked at. Decently priced, quick service, and gets it done right. Not a very social guy but nice enough. I would definitely bring back my car to Nate’s.

Have had him work on both mine and my wife’s vehicles. He does a great job at a fair price and gets it done quickly. Seems to find the best prices on parts as well and if the job costs less than the quote, he actually charges less, honest guy!
He looks intimidating like he could lift the car and do repairs without a jack, but he’s really a nice guy and won’t rob you. Glad we found him in Lake Stevens.

We love this guy. He is an Old School Shop, with Old School integrity. Have had all our family cars in there in the last month, and in each case did an excellent job at repairing them, for less than expected,
Wife wanted a tuneup on her Hyundai, and he checked it out, called us back and told us «you don’ t need a tuneup.» Really? What shop does that any more?

Nate is our go-​to-​guy! At least 6 – 7 times now. He is affordable and will let you know if you should go elsewhere. We have always been treated fairly and with respect. His wife is sweet and helpful, too. We love supporting this local family.

Nate has taken a swing at a couple of my vehicles, and done a decent job on the repairs (except for a Qjet carb rebuild that had to be returned twice and still is not quite right). The differentiator between getting a 3rd star and not is his attitude. On all interactions with him, it felt as though he would have preferred I took my business elsewhere. While I love supporting the local guy, I had to find a new «local» guy.

We have a 2002 Honda Odyssey. We also have six children that we take here, there, and everywhere. Recently, we started up the Honda and the engine was running REALLY rough. It was sputtering, and acting quite odd. Our friends referred us to Nate’s and we are so happy that we found him.
He diagnosed the problem the same day, a transmission malfunction. He fixed the problem in one day and did not charge for unecessary services. He is local, honest, quick and affordable. We have found our mechanic! Thanks so much for the great service.

Decided to take my truck to Nate after getting an extremely high quote from a dealership. Nate ended up not being just an exceptional mechanic, but a down-​to-​earth local who genuinely isn’t in business just to make money. There is a sign inside the office that reads «The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of a low price is forgotten.» Nate gives high quality with the lowest prices around. He is recommended by locals and even employees at Les Schwab.
If you need work done on your vehicle and you live anywhere near Lake Stevens, do yourself and your vehicle a favor and let Nate take a look.

Nate is the best. I wouldn’t let anyone else work on my car. He’s like the Car Talk guys — knows his stuff and would NEVER ever screw you. He’s turned away thousands of dollars worth of work on my car because he knew things were still covered under warranty.
His prices are excellent, and unlike some of the bigger garages like Schwabb, he puts QUALITY parts on that LAST.
