Sunnyside Preschool & Kindergarten is an Award-​Winning private school established in 1990 to provide high quality early childhood education for children in a fun, safe environment. Located in Lake Stevens, WA, Sunnyside has been a model school for the local colleges with an outstanding reputation, attracting a client base that spans throughout Snohomish County. It is through the rich curriculum offered at Sunnyside that abides by the standards of The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), that children learn and grown in all areas of development, promoting positive self esteem, building confidence, and encouraging cooperative, caring social interactions based upon mutual respect between their peers, teachers and the community.

We offer full and half day preschool and kindergarten classes, reading enrichment programs, creative dance classes and elementary tutoring at two convenient locations.

Business Owner

Cindy Brengman has over 20 years experience as an Early Childhood Educator. As owner/​director and former teacher at Sunnyside, she remains committed in the community, and to the children and families they serve. Currently active in the Lake Stevens School District’s Early Learning Focus Group, Cindy ensures that Sunnyside is offering the best, developmentally appropriate instruction, meeting and exceeding standards and striving for excellence in early education. Cindy serves on the board of directors for the Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce and also coordinates a Business Roundtable fo Sno. County Councilman John Koster and recently has also served on the Risk Watch Safety Coalition for the Lake Stevens School District in addition to serving on many other boards for causes in the community that she is passionate about. She is dedicated to, and knowledgeable of her profession, with experience teaching adults and educators in college level classes and at various other workshops.
