Couture 360

I so wanted to love this place as I am new to the area. Staff was super nice, salon was set up cute. This is my first place that had a separate color station.
The colorist was very nice, my partial highlights were done nicely except for the fact that my sideburns were blonde. Just personal preference that I like more of a weaved in highlight. She walked me to a very dirty station. The stylist apologized but you could tell there were two haircuts done, so the first was never cleaned up.
My haircut wasn’t much to talk about, even though I asked the stylist to tell me what she thought I should try. I literally received a bang trim and about and inch and a half off. That was it. Again, just personal preference but when I spend a crazy amount on a hair cut, I want something new, different, cute. She just didn’t have it in her and I certainly didn’t want to push her out of her comfort zone.
I did end up purchasing some shampoo/​conditioner/​serum, which I so regret as I am not happy with the products.
My bill was almost $ 250. I don’t mind paying for an awesome salon experience, but this wasn’t one for me.

I recently switched to this salon and I now wish that I would have came here sooner! Heidi for color and Jon for haircuts, you cant go wrong!

I was so sad to find out that Jennifer no longer works here, on the other hand I did end up getting a haircut from Jon and I am thrilled by the experience. I am 100% returning to him and I think anyone who wants a personalized cut would benefit from Jon’s expertise as well :) Thanks so much, all was great!

I LOVE THIS SALON. I never make reviews but I just had to for this place! I had a manicure and pedicure with Stacey and it blew my expectations away. Literally the best mani pedi I’ve ever experienced in my life. I also had a haircut with Brandy and she is beyond talented. I have curly hair and I have never left a salon so satisfied with my cut. I had so many compliments on my hair! I am a perfectionist and have high standards for both my hair and nails. I am never disappointed when I come to this salon. I cannot recommend this place enough! Everything about this salon is high quality. My only complaint would be that the staff at the front desk; otherwise this place is a gem.

This salon is so cute, very trendy, and they have me a gift bag with sample shampoo, a free eyebrow wax, and free hair conditioning treatment. The factors that reduced my rating was the cost and quality. My hair cut was expensive $ 45 and it was nice, but I wasn’t in love with it. They offer free bang trims between haircuts, which is a great perk, but the person who cut my bangs made them very uneven. When I came back the next time my stylist commented on how uneven they were.

Before this cut, I was one of those flaky salon customers: I never liked a cut enough to bother remembering where I got it or who gave it to me. No longer. I may have Brandy’s name tattooed somewhere in permanent homage. I. LOVE. My. Cut!
I came in with pictures of some things I liked, but openly admitted I wasn’t sure what would work for my face shape. She talked me through it, and I got all the things I was admiring in my little photo montage, tailored to *me*.
Better yet, though, I feel like I got my life back. With the right cut, I’m not spending some interminable amount of time in the morning coaxing every strand into the one, single arrangement that looks passable. I can just go. It just works. It is fantastic!
Made my follow-​up appointment before I left the building. Brandy at Couture 360 has a new loyal fan.

What a fabulous salon! Always a friendly greeting at the front desk and very friendly staff. I have had multiple services done at this salon and they have all been amazing. I have had my color done by both Kara and Christina and they both do a great job, you can clearly tell that they love doing what they do and keep up with all the current trends. The colorists at Couture 360 really care about the condition and health of your hair, which is a good feeling knowing you are getting the color you want without completely trashing your hair. Brandy cuts my hair and really listens to what you want, while offering her professional opinion. The nail department is so relaxing and all the nail technicians are very knowledgeable and do a great job. Cindie is amazing– her facials are out of this world! My skin has never looked better thanks to Cindie and she gives a great massage! Would highly recommend this salon.

Very nice salon with friendly staff. I only came in for a manicure. This is one of the best manicures I’ve ever had. Katelyn did a great job, was very thorough, professional and nice to chat with. I am not local to the area, otherwise I’d come back frequently! I highly recommend this salon for their expertise.

Would never recommend this place. I went to a trainee and she was fabulous, however the person who was overseeing her was overbearing, rude and made me feel uncomfortable and the trainee uncomfortable, not to mention didn’t listen to me or the girl cutting my hair (which I had the pleasure of teaching for over a year in school, so I know what she can do)
She talked down to the girl for having a long hair model come in and not someone with short hair when that’s a conversation to be had in private. I’m a cosmetologist myself as well as a educator. I wanted 2 inches cut, that’s what the stylist and I agreed on. 4inches later (the lady told her how much to cut and where to cut) and face framing that the trainer did was not only uneven didn’t ask me how short or where to start the face framing. She was very rough going through my hair and it hurt. They don’t give you capes only gowns so you still have hair everywhere and the lady getting color across from me made a remark look, it looks like I have a stripe going down my head. As the stylist laughed it off and joked about oh just wear it up, you hardly have it down anyway. Being a hairstylist is about having freedom and creativity to cut someone’s hair and put your signature touch on the cut, not being told this is not the way we cut. Even if there’s a protocol there’s always ways to make it your own and that’s not the case at this salon.

I have curly hair. Not that tame, non-​frizzy celebrity hair… I have intense, hard to handle, thick curly hair. With that said, I had THE best cut and color I’ve ever had (no exaggerations).
Emily did my color and she has an eye and understanding of color that most people triple her age and experience can barely manage. I vaguely explained a look I was wanting and between her and Kara, they knocked it out of the park. Emily took her time, explained what she was doing and why she was doing it. She was personable and truly enjoys what she’s doing. She’s a bright woman with insane talent.
Cameron did my cut. I had two very different looks I was interested in. I explained them both and we opted for a significant cut in length. Now, I’ve had more botched haircuts than I’ve had good… This was phenomenal. The cut is healthy, natural and easy to maintain. He also helped give me tips and tricks when I’m styling my hair on my own to get the same type of look. He helped me feel confident in using my diffuser (which has sat in my bathroom for years) and gave me information on different products to use.
Both Emily and Cameron have an infectiously positive persona. They both love working at Couture 360 and it’s evident in the pride they take in their work. I haven’t been to a salon in over 5 years because of not so favorable experiences. I can tell anyone in the area (or out of town) that this salon is unlike anywhere you’ve been and you’ll sense that within minutes of stepping in the door. Kudos, Couture 360. Keep up the amazing work and keep setting the bar high. I’ve never been so pleased with my now tame and manageable curls in my life. I’ll be back without a doubt.

When I moved from the city, I wanted to find a salon that was nice but not stuffy. My first experience here wasn’t so bad — the shampoos won me over! I did enjoy my stylist and she does a great job but it’s the front desk staff that really offended me the last time. I was checking out and I needed to break my $ 20 for a tip. Sorry, my hair cut was good but not almost 50% tip good. And the woman said ‘WE DON’T HAVE ANY CHANGE.” I was puzzled and affirmed that someone must have change around somewhere. «YOU CAN GO TO THE ATM ACROSS THE STREET,» she says, as it’s 8pm and dark in the middle of winter. ATMs only give out $ 20s anyway! In the meantime the other member of the staff got up to go look. Keep in mind the woman has my $ 20 bill this whole time and then she takes a phone call. I’m standing there for an awkward 5 minutes while she is on the phone, waiting for my change to tip the stylist and shampooer, and the man rudely questions me «Can I HELP you with something?!» I’ve never been so offended. I just paid so much money for a simple trim on my hair with NO styling and all I want to do is tip someone and you’re going to treat me like I’m bothering you? No thanks, not for me, I will never be back again.

I had a pedi/​mani with Stacy today. Wonderful experience! I will definitely go back soon!

If I could give this place 0 or negative stars I would. The salon came recommended by a friend whose hair always looks amazing so I had high hopes mine would look the same. I normally go to places downtown but just didn’t have the time or the $.
I made an appointment with Victor. The salon itself seems very nice and some employees were attentive at the front desk in offering me a drink, to take my coat etc. When I finally sat down, I brought plenty of pictures to explain what I wanted to him. My hair was badly damaged at the ends, about waist-​length. I told Victor I wanted layers starting at my chin and going down no shorter than the MIDDLE OF MY BACK. I have a lot of hair but it’s very fine, and I am always terrified of going to new salons in fear they will cut off too much. I do not like short hair on myself, it’s simply a personal preference.
Well, my worst nightmare came true. Despite showing exactly where I wanted my hair to end and plenty of pics with the same, I did not get what I asked for in any shape way or form. Since he was working in the back I had no way of seeing what was going on. I had a friend with me to keep tabs on it because she knows how nervous I get. Unfortunately she came in late after the damage was done.
I must have looked nervous when I felt my hair getting snipped because my friend asked what’s wrong. I just laughed and said I was very nervous about getting my hair cut in general. Victor immediately came around to face me, leaned over and in a very defensive tone asked what I was nervous about, because we had already discussed the length. I assumed that meant he was doing what I asked and he was just trying to reassure me.
Boy, was I wrong. I wanted to walk out of there with healthy, long hair blown out and curled like Lilly Ghalichi or a Texan beauty queen. What I ended up with was choppy layers starting at my chin and barely extending past my shoulders. My entire back has no hair. My hair has not been this short since I hacked it off in high school for a change, and I’m well into my 20s now.
Needless to say I have been devastated. I barely held it together in the salon despite him talking about how great it looked and everyone complimenting me commenting about how much I had taken off. It’s a little hard to say you can’t stand how it looks or that you are extremely disappointed when you have multiple employees standing there saying it looks amazing. I felt very pressured to agree even though I was extremely upset. I spent the entire ride home crying my eyes out and I am NOT a cryer or a very emotional person. It’s absolutely horrible.
It’s been about a month and my hair is still limp, choppy, and I had to go out and spend $ 300 on human hair extensions to be able to curl it or get the volume and styling I want out of it. It’s growing back very slowly and the wait is agony.
This was the worst salon experience of my life second to a botched dye job elsewhere and I will never set foot near this place again. At least it was only $ 65 down the drain.
Bottom line: If you want an experience where the stylist does not listen to you and does what he wants because he thinks he’s doing you some kind of favour, then go see Victor. As for me, I’d rather throw $ 400 at a someone who knows what he’s doing and cares about satisfying his clients in the city.

It’s been a week since I had my hair colored here. I’ve been to this salon for countless waxing appointments, and haircuts, and never have I had a bad experience until this one.
From the moment I sat in the colorists chair, she had told me she wasn’t positive if she could do the whole coloring service (my hair and the hair extensions I had brought in) because she had another appointment right after mine. When I had originally called to book the appointment, I made sure to tell the person who answered the phone that I also had extensions I wanted colored to match as well, so I could be sure extra time was given in order to do that. When it came time to color the extensions, my colorist had another woman who also worked as a colorist at the salon examine them, and they even had me sign a waiver just in case if, as the colorist called it, «they get trashed». Once again, for the second time during the appointment, she had mentioned she didn’t know if she had time to color the extensions to match, but that she’ll see when her client arrives.
As far as the color goes, it’s definitely NOT what I wanted. Compared to the picture I had showed her of the color I wanted, it’s way too dark, and the only time you can even see the burgundy color I originally wanted is when my hair is lit by the sun a certain way. In indoor lighting, the color just looks dark brown.
Her application of the color was very messy too, I left with a decent amount of color stains on the left side of my forehead, some on my ear, and even my boyfriend pointed it out when I got home.
While in the salon, I had noticed one of their stylists dropped their comb on the floor while cutting a clients hair, dipped it into the barbicide for 3 seconds, and then resumed using the same comb on the client. When you drop a comb on the floor, you do not pick it up until the appointment with your client is over.
$ 133 dollars wasted on a messy coloring that doesn’t look anything like it was supposed to. Add the sheer unprofessionalism displayed and the «get it over with» attitude of my colorist, it’s safe to say I will not be back, and neither will any of my friends.

I have gone through many spa professionals, at least 40 for waxing. So I can compare who is good and who is not. Cindy is in my top 3! She takes her time, she is very through, plus she uses hard wax. which is a bonus for any one who gets super red after soft wax. Highly recommend!

This is my first visit to the salon and I have finally found a great salon, with a great stylist, and a great colorist!!! From the moment I walked in the door through to when I left, I experienced exceptional customer service with expert advice and recommendations by both the stylist and colorist. My stylist was Victor, colorist Kristina, and shampoo person Cameron. All three took such great care of me that it reminded me of what I’ve had to put up with at so many other salons – pretentious people with attitude, crappy front desk service, and passionless stylists/​colorists.
It was truly a pleasure and I am THRILLED with how my hair came out. Kristina gave me a recommendation and I took it with very happy results, a beautiful auburn color. Victor actually examined my hair and listened attentively to my hair problems and what I was trying to achieve. He expertly cut my hair and really took care of me.
Overall, I am impressed with the staff, service and professionalism from everyone at Couture 360. LOVE MY HAIR!!!

Let me start off by saying I don’t get my hair professionally done very often because it’s expensive, I have very long, dark thick hair which I find unmanageable, and I’m just nervous that it will get messed up. I generally don’t do much to my hair.
I went to Couture 360 to get my hair cut and colored for my wedding back in November of 2013. I just got some blonde highlights and I was especially nervous because when you dye dark hair blonde it has the tendency to turn orange or slowly go brassy over time. Kara did my color and Kenny did my cut and I was very happy with it. The staff make you feel very welcomed. They take your coat immediately, offer you a beverage which includes lemon water, wine, or they will even run to the Starbucks across the parking lot for you. They ask you if you would like to use the restroom before hand, give you a tour of their salon which is actually quite nice. They don’t have mirrors everywhere like other salons, only at the hair cutting stations. I actually like this a lot because when you’re getting color I know I look quite silly with foils in my hair and would prefer to not stare at myself. Everyone is friendly and it’s not awkward while you’re sitting there. Their shampoo area is the best I’ve ever seen in any salon. It’s a separate room that has dimmed lighting and tranquil piano music. While you get your hair shampooed it’s very relaxing and they always include a small scalp massage during the process. I have noticed other people get extended version of these (as I’m sure they pay for it) but it seriously is awesome.
Last weekend I felt I needed a change and feeling adventurous, I decided to go of the Kim Kardashian brown to blonde ombré hair color with cut. Kara did the color again and Brandy did my hair cut. What I ended up with was not what I wanted at all which was getting my whole head bleached. As I mentioned before, having dark hair and going blonde ends up in nothing but orange. The cut Brandy did was exactly as I expected. I was in shock and the time and thought perhaps I was over reacting about the hair color. I paid and left as I also was in a rush and had many things planned that day.
Over the remaining time of that weekend I just slowly grew to hate the color I had on my hair. I actually took Monday off of work to go to Sally Beauty Supply and buy hair dye. I just couldn’t go into work as I am in management and work for a very conservative company. Ombré hair was about as racy as I could get. That Tuesday (they’re closed on Sundays and Mondays) I contacted the salon and spoke with the manager, explained that it was not what I expected and I think that Kara had a different interpretation of what I was wanting and that I would want to come back to get it fixed. They were beyond accommodating and went above and beyond to make things right.
When I walked in I have to admit I was afraid of having an awkward experience as I am the complaining customer. They were welcoming when I arrived and I was greeted by the manager I had spoken with. I sat down with Kara and she had actually brought the lead stylist, Victor, with her so they could both consult with me. I explained what I did not like about my hair and they made suggestions on how to fix it. I expressed concern that my hair was damaged and since I already have thick, dry hair that I wouldn’t be able to recover from all this processing. They took this into consideration while doing the consultation. Victor was great and made decisions based on my personal hair texture and dryness. He even vetoed some of my suggestions because he knew they just wouldn’t work for me. I appreciate that as I’m not very hair savvy. They came up with the plan and got started. It was not awkward with Kara as I had thought it would be. Honestly, the girl is very talented. If you see her she has a very trendy look about her in a way that’s very fashion forward. During the time she was working on my hair she told me about the training she has undergone, how she keeps up with the latest trends, and how passionate she is about her career. I admire that in people that take pride in their work and go above and beyond to make sure they are in the forefront of trends within their career. I was not worried in the least that I would walk out that day loving my hair. She even did a deep conditioning treatment to help the damage that may have affected my hair.
Victor did my cut and he explained many things about my hair and how the texture and color influenced the type of styling that my hair needed to pull off the ombré look. Kara blow dried my hair herself and when I saw the final result it was exactly what I wanted. I love love love my hair now.
So being through the worst case scenario at this salon and seeing how they took care of it I am comfortable continuing to get my hair done there. I really think they care about the work they do and want to have happy customers.

Hands down, the best salon I’ve ever been to. The moment I walk in I get greeted by the amazing front desk (Sara!), then head into the lather lounge (it’s magical in there — so peaceful and calming while you get your hair washed/​massaged), then sit down with MELISSA — she is #1, the best, the sweetest, and so creative. I basically don’t trust anyone with my hair anymore except for her — I get what I ask for EVERY SINGLE TIME. Oh yea and the choice of wine, tea, or coffee while I get my haircut doesn’t hurt either!
Overall this is a wonderful place — top notch. I feel comfortable and taken care of every time I go there, not to mention I leave looking great. ;)

I have finally decided I am going to write reviews when I have positive experiences not just bad so here it goes.
I have been coming to Couture 360 for about 3 years now and getting my color done by Christina for longer than that. I love it here. I love how I feel after leaving, like a superstar.
I am always last minute about my appointments because I like to have fresh hair for whatever event may be coming up, they always find a way to squeeze me in.
Before Christina, my color was BLAH. I wanted my blond to POP and not be so dull. I had been going to another colorist for many years until I moved to Minnesota for a bit and came back needing a fresh start. Christina took care of that. She is definitely a blond specialist (TAKE NOTES BLONDIES!). She is also realistic. If you want a certain color, she won’t lie to you and tell you it’s possible when it’s not. She is very honest when it comes to letting you know if the color will suit you or not. I’m no longer always looking for something new, I found something that works and works very well and I’m sticking to it!
Brandy cuts my hair. I have very thin, fine hair so finding someone who knows how to cut it has always been hard for me. When Brandy started cutting my hair, for the first time ever, my hair felt thicker and healthier. It didn’t look so thin anymore. When styling my hair, I am able to get more volume than I could ever before. My cut is simple and not crazy, yet it took 23 years to find someone who could master it. The best part — this is also the longest it has been since I was a kid but it doesn’t look stringy– that was why I had kept my hair at an awkward length before… no stringiness here!
I also get my eyebrows done by Cindy and they have never been more perfect. I have very long but sparse eyebrows so they don’t need a lot of waxing just trimming. I had a few really BAD experiences and I am really picky about who touches my eyebrows.
The best part is that all these people are in one place… and I get to spend the WHOLE DAY at Couture 360 getting pampered… there’s fine wine, tea, coffee and water along with Hershey Kisses that I can not stop eating once I start!
A few weeks ago I won a Lather Lounge treatment so I finally used it last weekend. Diana was the one who did it and it was amazing. I won’t go into detail because I feel like the one of the best parts is that I didn’t know what to expect. It was definitely needed and I can’t wait to buy one for my boyfriend (Saves me from head scratching ;)) — a definite must when you have time.
I also want to thank Rose who is constantly checking up and making sure everyone is not just okay but great. If there is anything ever wrong, it definitely gets fixed as soon as possible! THANK YOU!
Watching the other stylists– you know that they are the cream of the crop (that’s the right saying right?) — they are always doing something to refresh their skills, fashion shows, classes, etc etc etc. I could go on forever about this place but I’ll stop myself now before your eyes glaze over!

I booked an appointment for a blow dry and style last minute on a Saturday for a wedding sight unseen – I grew up in LZ but haven’t lived there in years so I didn’t know anything about Couture360 besides what I read on Unilocal.I could not have been happier!
The interior of the salon is really beautiful and modern and everyone who worked there was extremely nice to me. Their «lather lounge» where they wash your hair is heavenly! It is set apart from the rest of the salon with dimmed lights and spa music so you can enjoy the luxurious scalp massage as they wash your hair. It really made the experience feel special.
Melissa did a great job with my hair, which is suuuuuuper long and difficult to curl. She was patient and listened to what I wanted. She also gave me some good tips for styling my hair in the future.
I would recommend this salon to anyone and everyone! All the stylists and staff were so nice and I really liked the ambiance of the salon too. I wish I was in LZ more often so I could go all the time!
