Nutriblends

Ok, I love nutriblends. I used to go there a few times a week back in 2014/​15, but then moved away for a while. I’m back now, have been frequenting nutriblends again, and am noticing some changes. The people who used to work there are gone, and I agree with other reviewers in saying that the service now is really inconsistent. Sometimes the staff are great and so is the food, other times everything is mediocre. I still really like this place though. The smoothies, when made properly, are AMAZING.

First time here, ordered a chicken breast salad and a lake water smoothie. Best smoothie I have ever had!!! The salad was great, little shy on the dressing so make sure you order another side of dressing. Was in and out very fast for just walking in and ordering to go. Overall only complaint was the small portion of dressing.

There were 3 people working when I ordered at the counter. So i order a «Chicken Breast Salad» I don’t really notice this at the time I order but the description on the menu says, «romaine lettuce, spinach, OR ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ mix» OR? WTF have you ever seen OR on a menu. The really funny part is that my salad had cheap head lettuce on it. The 2 guys working the register were handling money, handling dirty rags, and putting their filthy hands directly on the food they were preparing. I also saw him chop the chicken for my salad and pick it up with his bare hands and sprinkle it over the salad. I took a couple bites, got grossed out and tossed it. This place is disgusting and managed by inexperienced amateurs.
PS-​read some of the 5 star reviews, uh yeah, I’m sure their legit… The place was empty at lunch time when I was there…

The cheddar buffalo is a great sandwich and I love that I can get humane & happy animal meat here. I wish the ingredients were more organic. I would especially like to be able to order a non-​GMO sandwich bread. Be aware that staff performance is inconsistent. Sometimes the person working acts friendly & makes food and drink well. Other times they’re apathetic and you end up with a weak tasting juice or a sandwich containing less chicken than the last time you ordered that same sandwich. One of the counter guys actually made a lewd offensive comment with zero provocation. The management would do well to hire & train staff more professionally. This is overall a good place and the food is relatively healthy and tasty for the area, albeit inconsistent quality.

We love this place. A healthy alternative when you’re craving something sweet. One of my favorites is the Lemon Bar! If you want to grab a bite to eat, I suggest the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich. Delicious! You can call in your oder ahead of time if you are in a rush.
This little shop is kind of in a weird location but I’m so happy we discovered it. Not only is the staff friendly, they also get involved with the community during several events throughout the year. I hope this place stays for a long time.

Poor service, mediocre smoothie. I understand that some places are understaffed due to the fire, but the man working yesterday at 1:30 could of handled customers much more efficiently. We ordered only 2 smoothies and were the 2^nd people there, the others just got their food. And instead if starting on our smoothies he began taking orders of about 5 diff. People who walked in after us. It took 15 Minutes for the smoothie, thank god we went somewhere else for lunch we would of been there all day. Also what smoothie shop doesnt have whip cream for orders like strawberry cheesecake? My mom had whip cream on her smoothie last week… how strange. tip: when you have a line of people tell them the wait time and dont start charging everyone in the store and then very slowly start working on the 1^st customers order, cause by that time i wanted a refund and that makes more work and time for the employee to start refunding unhappy customers.

SOOOO IN LOVE ! Staff is always welcoming and the Hawaiian pizza is to die for!!! Just so rich and flavor packed, and you just can’t leave without trying one of their shakes, such a cute little place maybe in the future they’ll expand ?! Really hope so !

Delicious spot for lunch. Sandwiches left me wanting, meager toppings. Shakes were outstanding. Everything tasted very fresh. Would go again.

Hands down my favorite small business in Lake County. Every employee I’ve ever encountered at Nutriblends has always been so helpful, polite, and happy and I can’t get over how great the food is (mmm those sandwiches!)
I’m so tired of money hungry businesses trying to pocket their customer’s money more than please them, but these guys definitely put their customers first.
I was once given a free smoothie simply because I couldn’t order a buffalo sandwich because they had no buffalo. How sweet, but it wasn’t their fault! The chicken sandwiches are just as amazing, anyway.
Sometimes when I’m in a bad mood, I go out of my way to eat here just because everyone always cheers me up. Such a lovely place.
Nutriblends has a customer for life.

Heck yes ! The best smoothies ever ! These guys care about what they serve and it shows. The sandwiches are great and available as lettuce wraps as well.
So how is this — they don’t advertise yet are always busy. Says a lot about the place — more than a review could ever say.

Excellent service and great smoothies!!! My wife and I went there for the first time and we had a wonderful experience! The owner kept checking on us the whole time to ask if there is anything we need and if the food and the smoothies taste good. We good two of the chicken breast salads and we customized our smoothies they way we would make them at home. Overall the experience was excellent!

Great place to grab a healthy snack after you wo rk out to feed thise muscles plus Derek and Katie will sing and dance for you if you ask

I have to first respond to the incredibly awful review of Ex P. If you look at the rest of his reviews, MOST of them are 1’s and 2’s. That says more about him than anything.
I have eaten here several times. The smoothies are incredibly good (and nutritious), with wholesome ingredients. The sandwiches are some of the best I’ve had in a restaurant or sandwich shop in memory, and they are large. You can choose from a variety of chips with your sandwich, which is unique, and they have a very tasty homemade dipping sauce.
The prices are — underpriced. Really, this is a great deal. He really needs to raise his prices at least a dollar a sandwich. Honestly. It’s a great deal.
The service is great (though is a bit slow, so that’s something they can work on). The employees are genuinely friendly, and the owner is a very friendly, outgoing guy who is working hard to continually fine tune his business. You really need to try this place. I’m hoping he expands to other towns in the area.

Disclaimer: I eat very healthy. As in: I drive everyone nuts with what I refuse to eat. But when I see a place with «nutri» in the name, with smoothies and salads on the menu, my ears perk up and I go out of my way to eat there. I was riding my motorcycle through the area and that was the only place that I thought would make my digestive system happy. Well, I was seriously disappointed.
The salad was nice, but the same can’t be said of the «fruit smoothie». We probably don’t have the same definition of a smoothie, but when I order one, I usually get some fruit blended with ice and some fattening agent e.g. milk, yogurt or soymilk.
I took a sip of my «smoothie» and received a sugar jolt of epic proportions. I could not taste a fruit, or a cream, or anything other than a massive influx of fructose/​glucose molecules ready to make me comatose. There was nothing nutritious, or fruity about my smoothie.
I left my humongous, barely touched «smoothie», on the table while I ate my salad. I packed my stuff, and no one seemed to care that the concentrated-​sugar drink stood exactly where it had been delivered earlier, in all its caloric glory.

This is one of my favorite little shops in Lakeport. I constantly come here for the yummy food, amazing smoothies and fantastic service. They really go above and beyond to make every customer feel special. Try the lake water smoothie with avocado and strawberry added in. You won’t be disappointed!!!

NutriBlends is a nice little shop, it’s smoothies, sandwiches, salads, etc. but with a focus on actually healthy /​natural good varieties. The smoothies are made with real fruit, not fruit like substances, and no loaded with sugar sorbet. The best part is they are pretty basic mixes done right, so they dont sacrifice taste. Need a protein hit after after a session at the gym? done. Need a tasty snack and not worried about it being healthy or not? Done again. (The healthy part just becomes an added bonus.)
The sandwiches are great, made fresh and they even have buffalo meat — locally sourced buffalo, so if you’ve never had it here is you chance and you get to support multiple Lake County locals in one visit. I’ve been here twice in the past week, it’s probably going to be a pretty regular thing as well.
Oh, and lastly — the owner and staff are all awesome, they greet you with a smile, very helpful all in all it’s a great combo that will keep me coming back.

Found this place accidentally but glad I did. I was in lakeport on a business trip from San Fran and stumbled upon this place before a meeting. Just what I needed! I got a custom blend juice of cucumber, pineapple, and apple which was amazing, I love fresh squeezed juice. I also got a portabello mushroom garden burger with all the fixings and apple chips. Energizing, healthy, and delicious! And the staff was very nice! Two guys working the place and had awesome attitudes and great customer service. If I’m ever back in lakeport I will have to stop by!
