I’ve been going here on and off for years. Good price, good customer service and good looking nails. I’ve also had my eye brows waxed here before and they looked great. Today I saw Nancy for fills and she made my nails look perfect. I love them, couldn’t be happier.

Agreed with the positive reviews. I had pink an white acrylics done at a different location and hated the shape and the color was too transparent so my actual nails showed through. Sandy fixed them and gave me exactly what I wanted… I’m thrilled!

I went there for a fill and ended up getting a new set which was fine, but she made my nails very thick using glitter powder, and very uneven and crooked and on my cuticles. This lady then gets up and has her friend finish my nails. Her friend then cut my hand three times while filing my nails and they started bleeding. I finished up and left after getting the gel on top of them. A few days later the glitter powder was chipping off my nails in big pieces, I called that morning and a lady who did not speak English answered the phone so I had to ask for somebody who could understand my story a little bit better. I came in after work and when I got there they stared at me and looked at my nails and their was 4 of them and they all were standing around me looking at my nails and talking in a different language and looking at me like I was crazy. She aggressively fixed my nails and kept talking in a different language. I was fully planning on tipping them for fixing my nails but since she was incredibly rude and aggressive with my hands I left and will never ever come back. Save your money time and hands. Look for people who are kind and not going to cut you multiple times.

I love this salon. Its clean, and the ladies are friendly. They have a ton of sparkle options and designs. I see Sandy, and she does a perfect job. The nails last for 3 to 4 weeks, and rarely lift of chip. I am super tough on my nails, so this is amazing to me. I’m also very picky so its nice to have a quality nail salon that can meet my needs.

Love this place! Everyone here is so friendly and they love it when my family and I come in. When it’s just me they always ask about my sister and mom. I have a Pinterest board fill with just nail designs and they love it when I show them a pic of something they have never done before and it always turns out fabulous!

This has been my go to nail salon for the past 5 years and it seems like recently every time I go to get my nails done there is always an issue. I went in a week ago to get them done and all of my nails have already started lifting significantly. Last time I came in my nails were left very thick and unatutal as well as bumpy, they didn’t smooth out my nail enough plus they started my nail already grown out. I used to come in and leave without a complaint and now the quality and has gone down significantly.

This is hands down the best nail salon in east county!!! They will always go the extra mile to make sure your nails are exactly what you’re wanting! They can do any shape & color so basically if you can think it, the nail techs at Crystal’s can and will bring it to life for you!!! Been going here for almost a year now and every time I’m impressed with the amazing customer service and good prices! I will definitely recommend this nail salon to alllll my friends & family for many years to come!

I’ve been going to Sandy for 15 years. She never fails me. Sometimes she gets busy and I’ve attempted other places because our schedules differ but I always end up back to her. I know I am picky and can be a pain but she is always there to meet my needs. :)
Tina is also amazing and my go to if Sandy is booked.

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been going to them for years on and off until recently — having moved back to the area — and always am happy with their services. I have tried other nail salons in San Diego that are supposed to be a fair price or «good quality» and have been disappointed. I only go to Crystal’s, they remember me and are nice enough to fulfill any request I have to try something new like a powder bow on top of my acrylic nails, they turned out fantastic! Thank you guys!:)

Ahhh where to begin… after being a loyal customer for 10 years i will be taking my money else where. Sometimes i ask myself why i have been coming to this salon for so long!!! Its dirty, the staff is unfriendly to say the least, they will talk you out of most nail designs because they simply do not want to do it or dont know how… lets face it there are so many new up and coming salons with amazing service, why throw your hard working money away.
I have given this salon numerous chances and i had to finally say no more after sandy charged me an extra $ 4 because of the lenght of my nails which were cut shorter than my last fill and i was not charged the extra $ 4 or even made aware of it, in fact my nails have been the same length for over a year and i have never been charged $ 4 extra. My fill came to $ 40 and my nails are not even length wise, one finger nail is completly mis-​shapen and my nail growth is completly visable a week later. I brought my unsatisfaction to sandy and she could care less and proceeded to engage in an angurement with me while talking on her cell phone and with a client…

I have been coming to Crystals Nails for years and I love it. I love it so much I make the drive every two weeks from downtown San Diego just to get a gel manicure and pedicure. I used to do acrylics at Crystals and was pleased with everything they did. I’ve recently switched to gel and couldn’t be happier. I also go «Glitter Toes» which will stay on for 4+ weeks without chipping. Try this salon, they are friendly and really care about the work they do.

Made a appointment for 6:05 didn’t get started till 6:35 which bothered me a bit. Other than that Nancy did a great job! Just moved to San Diego and been looking for a good nail salon and this salon is by far the best I’ve been to!

This is about an average nails salon. Their prices are pretty nice, and they have a pretty good selection of colors so that’s a bonus. However the quality isn’t great. It seems like they are always rushing and don’t take their time. So because of that my nails are always falling off or breaking after about 2 weeks. I’ve decided to find a new nail place because of it. However if you do choose to go here request sandy to do your nails!

I came here today because the Crystals location in El Cajon that I normally go to was booked but I can now say that both locations do a great job! Kelly did my nails and they came out great

The worst nail place I have ever been too.
Got fake nails and upgraded to the gel for my graduation thinking I would have at least a few weeks before they would need a touch up. It took one full day for the entire nail gel to peal off. I went back immediately the next day for a refund and was not given one. all they could do was redo the nails. So I opted into getting them redone thinking it was the gel and not them. The next day they pealed off again. Either they do not know the correct process for gel or they have bad products.
Paying $ 40 for nails that would only last 24 hours is just not cool, I will never come here again.

Lakeside is the main location that I go to. I have a different tech do my nails each time, and I am always satisfied with the work that is done. Tiffany is awesome at waxing. The salon is clean, with plenty of variety to choose from for nails and pedicures. Awesome place for anyone to bring their daughters for a kid manicure. Very child friendly. I love both locations!

I’m just over this lakeside location. I feel bad writing all these bad Unilocal I really do but I’m just over it. I just messaged them this morning about my nails they offered to fix them at this location which was sweet and nice of them but all I wanted was my money back on a gift card so I could go to the El Cajon location to have Kelly fix them which they wouldn’t do. I would just go get them fix here at this location but I feel very uncomfortable there now and if a customer wants their money back on a gift card to get their nails fixed at a different location you should do it. I wasn’t asking for my money in cash. This is super frustrating and I’m just very disappointed in this lakeside location.

I literally just had THE worst experience at this salon. It’s so disappointing. I used to come here all the time and haven’t been in a while. Clearly things have changed. Not only did the lady doing my nails get up every 2 min to do something else, she did a HORRIBLE manicure. My nails look worse now than they did before I came in. The polish isn’t even to the top of my cuticle and she completely shredded my skin with filing and trimming my cuticles. She didn’t clean under my nails and after painting them just completely ignored me, no lotion, massage, nothing. I complained which I never ever do and they did nothing and did not care. Just charged my card and went on to the next person. thanks for charging me $ 16 to take off my polish and repaint them. Worst nail place in San Diego. they lost a loyal customer today.

Came in at 4pm on a Sunday because it says they are open till 5:30. Which is true. However I felt very very rushed. While getting my full set with gel my tech kept looking at the guy behind the counter like he was her master. She rushed through everything (still did an excellent job) but I felt hurried just sitting there.
I will return because I like how my nails came out and I will try to come more than an hour and a half before closing. But I definitely will not have a coffee before coming because this atmosphere has my heart racing enough. Someone else compared it to a pedi-​mill and I can totally see where that would fit. Maybe with some sort of crime drama container labor tossed in too where they are working off their passage from wherever. Haha maybe my imagination is just running away now.
Great nails, rushed feel but great work.

Every time I go in, I get exactly what I ask for. The nail techs are always super nice, and are willing to go the extra mile.
HOWEVER! (READ IF YOU USE GEL NAILS)
The last two times I’ve asked about the gel, they’ve offered* powder. Gel NEVER comes as a powder, and it’s a common rip off trick salons try to use. Make sure your tech uses a gel. After each layer of gel, they should have you under a lamp. If not, it’s not real. You need to make sure you get what you pay for.
