Established in 1968.

Third generation owner. Family history of collision & mechanical repair, dating back to the late 1920’s, in Detroit, family ancestry. Owner had worked in transportation industry. From the 20’s to the present we have launched into the New Millennium of advanced automotive technology repair. We are dedicated to customer service.

I am VERY happy with the work done by Tim & Trevor at Lakeside Auto Body! I was in an accident just before Christmas. I was heartbroken. Not only because of the damage to my vehicle, but this had been my Mama’s car before she passed away. A friend recommended Lakeside Auto Body. The estimate they gave me was reasonable & affordable. I received my car back in about a week looking like new! I feel as though I just drove it off the lot! I will recommend them to all my friends. Thanks for doing such a Great job!

This shop was great! I came to them for some body work, but thinking that the project was going to take a long time, they quickly put me at ease and said it would only take a week and they would deal with my insurance. Not only was Trevor true to his word on the work and timeline, but he was available when I called for updates. The whole time, it was service with a smile and that is important to me expecially since I am always questioning shops and their people skills! Thanks guys! George the owner has amazing customer service. He greeted me as soon as I walked in and I told him what I thought I wanted done to vehicle and he gave me some suggestions. After talking for a few minutes he handed me over to his right hand man Trevor who gave me an estimate. The price was very reasonable and cheaper than most. After leaving my car with them for just a couple days I got my car back with exactly what I was hoping for. They have great service here and I’m sure George, Trevor and their crew will not let you down!

George and his crew did a great job repairing my 2004 Ford Focus which had been damaged when someone rear-​ended me on the highway. They dealt with the other guy’s insurance company, got my car fixed nicely, were thorough in checking over the car and noticing some issues I had not noticed, got everything done within one week, and were great to work with. Their work is great — only issue with this company is that it is difficult to reach someone there on the phone to check status or get answers to questions.
