I wish I could give this place a zero rating! She doesn’t even deserve a one star! Read all the reviews and stay away! Never answers her phone, issues with scheduling, and she is NOT A DOCTOR!!! She calls herself a physician or a doctor. She never went to school to be a medical doctor!!! This place is a scam. We didn’t even get our facials due to her attitude! She is so rude and we left feeling so disrespected! I do not recommend her at all.

I recently scheduled an appointment for a Voluma injection and paid ANS $ 350 and was told that gets me a FULL vial of solution! Not true at all. I feel that the owner used a tiny amount of the Voluma on me and saved the rest for herself! I absolutely can not tell that I had anything done at all. She indicated that it would take a month or more for the results to show, well I’m looking at 2 months and NOTHING!!! I’ve tried repeatedly to contact her and left numerous messages. She is not returning my calls and I am sure it is because she is aware of exactly why I am calling. Several years ago I purchased a GROUPON for Botox and when I got to my appointment I was told I had to pay an additional $ 60 for numbing cream and that I was getting a good deal since it normally costs more than that!!! She rubbed it on my face and then immediately began the injections. There was absolutely no time for the numbing cream to take effect. This place is an absolute rip off! If she in fact has a license, it needs to be revoked and she should be turned into the BBB for unethical practices. Run ladies run from this business. She will rip you off!

Did the CO2 laser and I LOVE MY RESULTS! I am healing beautifully and my melasma is SO much better.

I can’t give this a star rating because I have not received there services. I was looking for a place to go. I was very close in purchasing a groupon for this place. Thanks to everyone on Unilocal for there reviews I will not.

Agree with all the one star reviews here. The lady in charge got mad that I was using a groupon after the expiration date even though I had tried to make an appointment for weeks. She was very rude and unprofessional and the place itself did not seem clean.

I have had nothing but pleasant experiences! I have facial melasma and my face is dramatically better than before! Best chemical peels!!!

holy crap!!! do not go here. she will not return my calls or messages. she will advertise $ 275 for juvederm and then charge you $ 350. she said it was for numbing cream– in what world does numbing cream cost $ 75 for a single application? so this woman literally injected nothing into my face —there is no filler whatso ever and all the wrinkles in my mouth are still there. i felt the needle go in about 4 times but with no filler in it! yet i was still charged. this is a luxury for me and i know now you get what you pay for so do not go cheap on this type of procedure i would rather pay $ 500 and get actual juvederm instead of a scam like this– please steer clear a deal is not worth going through this headache!!!

I would rate ANS negative stars too. Looks like this dirty disgusting place hasn’t had a good review since 2010. Perhaps someone named Stephanie (Owner) should retire? She’s got to be pushing 60 years based on the appearance of her skin. Maybe she’s not the best person to take care of my skin because hers doesn’t look so hot.
Well, I found out that main number is her cell phone & she never answers it. She is extremely rude & unprofessional! She says she’s «so busy». Too busy to assist clients in booking appointments. She is above helping anyone. She can’t be bothered with any inconveniences. Guess she doesn’t want to stay in business either.
Upon arrival to my appointment the front door was open? It was well over 90 degrees that day. And it was just as hot inside. I can’t imagine having a facial & sweating at the same time. Not my idea of relaxation & serenity. Then this shaggy little ankle biter ran towards me barking. Really? A long haired mut in a medical spa? Someone call the health department. Then I found out there’s another dog, a much larger dog that looks scary. You have been warned.
Stephanie Maner was so rude. I left before finishing my paperwork as well. Actually, I didn’t even start it because I had such an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. First of all, it’s like a steam bath inside & I made a comment about the weather/​heat, I saw her roll her eyes! Unbelievable! This woman clearly doesn’t care about her business or image as a medical professional. I can’t say enough negative truths about this place in the ghetto part of Lakewood.

Bought a groupon for facial but never redeemed it because the experience of scheduling an appointment was so terrible. The individual I called to confirm the appt was Stephanie and she was quite rude — asking why I called her cell phone (that was the business phone, as far as I knew). So I ate the cost (which should help cover the cost of the Botox another commenter wrote about). I understand that Stephanie is a nurse, but nurses are not licensed to prescribe Botox in Colorado except if they are nurse practitioners. I checked, she’s not. She does not acknowledge who the doctor is that is prescribing it. I would caution anyone to avoid Botox in a medical spa unless you know that a dermatologist or other qualified health care professional has been involved in determining when it is/​is not appropriate for a particular indivdual.

I arrived 40 minutes early for my sun damage removal service I’d purchased from Groupon. Prior to the appointment I’d left multiple voice mails that Stephanie finally responded to but in a curt tone of voice. She refused to accept my Groupon certificate and said I could pay $ 85 for the service or ask Groupon for a refund. I called from my car and Groupon refunded my payment and concurred there was nothing in the limitations that said you had to be a 1^st time customer (I’d had a groupon manicure in 2013, but not with her). I returned 30 minutes later to give Stephanie an update and request she not charge my credit card since I’d given it as a prerequisite to booking on schedulocity. The door was locked. Really strange experience. I’m grateful she didn’t work on me and I’ll be more cautious with booking services with someone I don’t know.

I purchased a Groupon for a facial and microdermasion with Stephanie and it was unbelievably awesome! Stephanie is professional and with over 16 years of owning her own successful business, one is aware when conversing with her and asking questions that clarily the procedures and the results, she responds in a most professional manner, and I felt confident in her expertise immediately. Her bedside manner is direct and professional, and I was immediately put at ease. I plan to continue with appointments at ANS for what I now realize offers a wide range of services!
I am also aware that Stephanie provided service above and beyond what the Groupon specified, and for that, I am most grateful. I will be back! And I happen to LOVE being greeted by two very sweet doggies who were both therapeutic and gentle in nature.

I did a groupon for a microderm. Not impressed. The customer service was a little short of friendly — I got scolded for «not booking the right appointment» for my groupon. The atmospere of the place turned me off. There was some small breed of dog running around making noise. When I left, I felt one of my eyes watering as I drove home. Upon coming home I dashed into the bathroom and found the culprit: a long, thin hair from the dog had gotten tangled in my lower eyelashes! It was too fine to be a human hair and was grey in color — I’m a brunette. I also found dog hair all over my black leggings. I have concerns about the sanitary conditions of the place. Glad I didn’t pay full price and am not going back.

The strangest customer service I have ever encountered. I thought I was on a hidden camera show, it was that bad.
I did a Botox Groupon here. It took forever to get appointment… I called and left voicemail after voicemail… Five weeks later, after I gave up, somebody called me back. That’s when I first spoke to Stephanie and let me tell you… what a DELIGHT that was…
I had some questions about Botox cause it was my first time and Stephanie on the phone kept sighing really loud like she was irritated by my questions.
It was really awkward… I mean who does that??? she sighed OVER AND OVER REALLY REALLY LOUD, showing me her impatience!!! I don’t even think a 3 year old would do that… I was puzzled but things got worse the day of my appointment.
When I arrived they offered me water. I placed it on the floor while I filled out my paperwork. Suddenly I realize the dog that was there running around the place (yes apparently a Dog is helping run a medical spa) drank out of my water cup… Thanks but Ill pass on that now…
When she took me back for Botox, and I’m not kidding… The first thing she said to me was. «hi I’m Stephanie I’m basically paying for your Botox… I’m never going to do Groupon again because I basically paid for your Botox. YOU“RE WELCOME!!!»
WHAAAAATTT? Your welcome??? I basically paid for your botox?
I should have left running but I already paid. (and believe it or not was still excited about my first experience with botox.)
To top it off she lied to me about the number of units I got. With the group-​on I initially paid for 50 units, (wait excuse me, I forgot, STEPHANIE PAID FOR MY BOTOX as she stated) and the first time I went she told me I got 25 units. And when I returned the second time for Botox she said I only had 12 units left. Hello!!! Liar!!! I tried to talk to her about this but she straight lied to my face, DONT GO HERE.

There is no appointment availability for groupon customers on ANS website. Why would you even run groupon deals if you can’t provide services? I got text from Stephanie at 5am!!! Are you serious? Who would do that? Completely unprofessional. Horrible customer service. And yes, I was greeted by the dog which was more exciting then meeting an actual person that works there.

DO NOT GO HERE! I purchased a Groupon for a mani/​pedi several weeks ago. I left several messages on their voicemail, and on their Facebook page. I just received a call back this morning after leaving one last message earlier this morning. Apparently they do not offer manicure/​pedicure services any longer. Apparently they sent out emails about it. Furthermore, the woman who called back just now called me sweetie at least three times. I do not appreciate being patronized, HONEY I’m from NY and I will be making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. This was a VERY misleading Groupon and the customer service was subpar.

The point of selling discounted deals like Groupons is to attract customers who otherwise would not have known about a business, and to have a chance to impress them and gain repeat business. I was attracted to Aesthetic Nurse Specialists by a Groupon offer, and they used that opportunity to show me that it is an incompetent business with horrible customer service. I still haven’t used the Groupon, and I don’t plan to. I’m never going anywhere near those people.
On August 1, 2013, I bought a Groupon for a mani/​pedi and $ 25 towards other spa services. When Groupon sent me the voucher, it said that I could only make an appointment online by following a web link on the Groupon. That link went to a GoDaddy page that told me the web site no longer existed (the day after I bought the Groupon).
I tried calling the company’s phone number as listed on the Groupon, but nobody ever answered the phone or returned my calls.
I then complained to Groupon. Groupon’s customer service reps checked to see whether they could make the Groupon work, and after assuring themselves that it was, indeed, impossible, they told me they had forwarded my contact info to Aesthetic Nurse Specialists and asked them to get in touch with me to correct the issue. They never did.
After waiting two weeks without hearing from them, I looked up Aesthetic Nurse Specialists on Facebook, and sent them a private Facebook message, explaining the problem and asking how to use the Groupon or get my money back. I heard nothing back for exactly three weeks. Then (three weeks after I’d sent my message to them), I got this reply:
«sorry just getting this message. our website is:
maria is our nail tech: 720−351−1716 sorry for any hassles, as this group on was a year ago/​…»
I assume they mean that the Groupon was set up one year ago (though it’s hard to tell, since whoever wrote the message couldn’t be bothered to write in complete sentences) – as if that makes any difference to a customer who bought the Groupon when it was offered less than two months ago. That phone number is the same one that was on the Groupon – the number where nobody ever answers or returns calls. The web site does exist, but to make an appointment, it requires one to enter a credit card number.
Given the level of apathy and incompetence I’ve seen from these people so far, there’s no way I’m giving them my credit card number for a service I’ve already paid for. I’d rather give up the $ 21 I paid for the Groupon than let them touch my hands or feet. The Groupon worked: Now I know about this company. I know to avoid them like the plague.

Went to see Stephanie on Labor Day, yes they were open! I did have my fears about having a chemical peel and laser treatment performed. I didn’t take lightly someone working on my skin so I spoke with her about her background and it assured me I was good hands. The procedure was performed in a clean and relaxed environment and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable. I’m in day ³¹⁄₂ of recovery and though I may look beautiful yet (just starting to peel) I have great expectations!!! Highly recommend

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! *How ANS can have an overall «4.5 star rating» out of ‘7 reviews’ –when there are 12 ‘Filtered’ reviews not counted in their overall rating, — –and of those 12 reviews, 9 of them are ONE STAR REVIEWS– — is beyond me! (So, we’ll see if MY one star review makes it into their «Overall Rating», or if it will be magically «filtered» so it also doesn’t affect their bogus rating… O_​o)

Mistake #1: I never checked the Unilocal reviews on this place (yes, INCLUDING the «Filtered Reviews» that aren’t factored into the rating of ANS) before buying a Groupon for ‘2 Mani/Pedi’s +$ 25 toward next spa service’.
I attempted to use the first part of my voucher at Aesthetic Nurse Specialists, and due to a discrepancy in directions on their website vs. the directions on Google Maps, I got lost and was 5 minutes late for my appointment that I booked online (which I mistakenly thought was 1pm). When I arrived at 1:05, I overheard the receptionist on the phone saying, «Hi, I wanted to let you know that my scheduled appointment didn’t show, so… um, nevermind, I’ll call you back», and was greeted with a less than pleasant look from a woman named Maria. I was told by Maria that I was 20 minutes late for my appointment (instead of 5 minutes late) and that she didn’t have time to see me. I was taken aback and confused (–apparently not only do I not know how to find this place, I must be a complete idiot for not knowing my appointment time, silly me!-)
Mistake #2: Apparently I mistakenly put 1pm in my calendar instead of 12:45!
When I explained that I must have mistakenly thought my appointment was at 1pm, Maria stated, «Well you scheduled it online, so you should have gotten a confirmation email from us telling you when your appointment was, telling you it was at 12:45».
I then asked for a modified service (just the pedicure, not the manicure), and was told «No because you were 20 minutes late, I can’t even get a pedicure done in that time», with no other options discussed. I stand there awkwardly, in shock, like a little kid who just got her hand-​slapped.
I asked when her next scheduled appointment was that day, she said «2pm», (so I’m wondering why she can’t at least offer some modified service in 55 minutes –like a mini-​manicure or something; but that’s apparently out of the question!)
Since it was obvious I had completely inconvenienced Maria by being 20 minutes late, I felt uncomfortable and walked out to my car, then promptly returned realizing they had my credit card # and I wanted to make sure my card wasn’t charged a «cancellation» or «no show» fee. Maria first told me, «I don’t think it will charge your card, but I don’t know. I changed you in the computer from a ‘No Show’, so it shouldn’t, but I don’t know for sure». After asking her several times, she finally got the owner Stephanie who entered the room followed by two random dogs (dude, dogs in here? what’s going on? where am I right now?) Stephanie told me they wouldn’t charge my card and only then when Stephanie was present did Maria ask if I wanted to reschedule my appointment. When I asked Maria if there was anyone else there that did nails (other than her), I was told «No, I’m the only nail technician.» Then I was told by the owner Stephanie «And, um, this is a medical spa, not a nail salon.» (Silly me AGAIN! Of course because when I think of a clean «medical spa», I think of unprofessional service focused on the staff vs. the client, and dogs contaminating sterile procedure areas! What was I thinking?) Feeling completely belittled at this point I walked out of that Twilight Zone telling them that I would check my schedule and get back to them, got in my car and drove directly to a lowly «nail salon» –Fabu Nails and Spa on the corner of Kipling and Alameda and was graced with a whole different and wonderful experience –worth 4 stars!
Due to my initial experience here and how uncomfortable and bizarre the whole encounter was, AND since there is no option of seeing anyone else there to have this service done other than Maria, I cannot and will not come back. Due to the lack of professionalism and pathetic customer service, there is no way I would give this voucher to anyone else as a «gift» and subject anyone else to this ‘WTF?’ experience… o_​O
I will also be contacting Groupon to give a formal complaint on this business and request either a refund or a credit to my account.

I’d have to say that my experience was like Collete’s. Wish I’d read her review before purchasing my groupon.
First, was the problem of booking my Botox appointment. As she said, noone answers the phone. I left a message, but it took two days to get an answer. As for booking on-​line, the site had a message saying that Botox appointments must be booked by phone. I tried the e-​mail links on the home page of the websites, but they came back as undeliverable. The only one that worked was the one for rescheduling appointments. When I finally did get to talk to Stephanie, she said that I was the only one having that problem. When I insisted that there was a problem with scheduling Botox she actually said «I don’t want to get into this with you. I know what’s on my website.» Wow! She did correct the scheduling software later that day, but never apologized for her rudeness.
Granted, by that point I had a rather negative opinion, but when I arrived I was further dismayed to find a dismal reception area with sagging curtain rods and two dogs having run of the place. Does the health department allow this in a place where injections are being done?
The injections went OK, but there are places with the same or better prices closer to my home with friendly and helpful personell. I won’t be back. Ever!

I’ve only been to ANS once so far, but Stephanie did such a wonderful job on my skin! I had a microdermabrasion and laser treatment. My face had some dark freckles and fine lines and they’re gone! She also treated the upper part of my chest so the skin would have a better match with my face.
Stephanie is very professional and doesn’t rush through the procedures, — and she’s nice and beautiful to boot!
I already have my next appointment set up and am planning some time to have my spider veins taken care of too.
