History

Established in 2011.

WeBreak Hip-​Hop Dance Company was founded in October 2011 by Brian Wright. We are a community of people that are dedicated to the various styles of hip-​hop dance with a focus on breakdancing. We currently offer a beginning breakdance class for teens, adults and children. We also are in the works of developing both a breakdance performance group as well as a performance group that performs routines strictly to Michael Jackson music. As a dance company serving the Los Angeles and Orange County areas, WeBreak has three core objectives:

1) To be a positive force in whatever community we serve.

2) To give people an opportunity to participate and experience urban dance in a positive, safe and consistent environment who would otherwise not be able to.

3) To be excellent in our classes, workshops, jams, parties, and performances.

Hi, my name is Brian Wright and I am a professional break dancer out of Long Beach, CA. I have been break dancing for over 9 years and dancing for 12 years. I am the proud co-​founder of the break dance club at California University Long Beach. I have a HUGE passion for teaching people from all walks of life, shapes and sizes how to dance.
