Brown Bear Car Wash

I like brown bear. There $ 19.99 a month unlimited wash is a good deal. The guys are really friendly and helpful. The only reason I would not give 5 stars, the towels they let you dry with are not the cleanest, compared to the location up on 6^th Ave and they leave a lot of lint when drying. Other then that great car wash.

Its an Ok Car wash. I am still looking for one that does a great job. They missed my back window completely but other than that the car was fairly clean,. The price is cheap enough.

They took care of me when I came through. It didn’t get all the stuff off my car and they had me come back through and used the brush to scrub just to make sure it was awesome

I wish I could give 0 stars the car wash was super fast so of course my car didn’t get clean because we were in the tunnel for 1 minute and it used barley any soap and the dryer sucks and doesn’t dry the car at all & their provided towels to dry your car are wet and left white lint everywhere extremely disappointed will not ever come back! Such a waste of my time and money!

i love this carwash because it is affordable and quick… the workers there are so professional and polite to me every time i go thru no matter what… winter or summer when it must be difficult to work outside in the freezing cold or hot sun. true it is surrounded by some shady peeps sometimes but hello its not like u have to even get out of ur car! i always use the coupon from the back of the safeway register receipt so i can get the most expensive wash n wax for like $ 7! it leaves my car soooo shiny and bright for the longest time

Very nifty Car Wash. You can go through the car wash cycle machine or use the standard manual labor car wash which is equally great and fun to use. I love how they give you an Air Freshener. The car wash staff is pretty friendly. Only thing about this spot is it can get busy. Also, the area is kind of sketchy. I wouldn’t come here alone!!! Especially in the evenings when the manual car wash and vacuum is still available for use!

Can’t really give it any stars. I never made it into the place! There were so many raggedy looking bums and pan handlers I just god damn left! NO THANKS!

There isn’t much that could go wrong with this car wash location. I come here when my car is dirty and I’m in the neighborhood with a coupon for a $ 1 off from Safeway.
It’s quick and easy. Hassle-​free.

I go thru this car wash once a week.
Most the time it gets my car really cleaned. Love that they have the self serve vacuums here. Also, they aren’t jerks about giving you change for the vacuums if you don’t have quarters.
The employees are friendly enough.
The entrance to the car wash is a little awkward. Especially, if another car is behind you… Maybe it’s just me, idk.
If your car is really dirty. Don’t go thru the automatic car wash. Use the self serve wash to get your car clean. The drive thru wash will not do the cleanest job on a car that is really dirty. You will still have some dirt.

If your car is humiliatingly filthy and you’re just looking to get rid of most of it, this is a good way to go. I have to agree, though, that in comparison to other car washes for the same price, this facility is less than ideal.
The WORST part (in my opinion) is that you absolutely cannot get out to vacuum your car without people coming over from the convenience store across the street asking for money. I’ve used this place 4 times between August and February, and it has happened every time. Even if you try to ignore them, they will stand there and wait until your vacuum has turned off.

Not a fan of this place! They advertise a $ 5 car wash, but it isn’t worth the money you pay. From now on, I will drive down the street and pay twice as much for 10 times the quality of a car wash.

Brown Bear offers a fast, convenient, and affordable way to wash your car without even turning the engine off– but not as thorough as a hand wash.
When it’s too cold or dark out to wash your own car it’s great that the Lakewood Brown Bear is available to do it for you. They charge $ 5 (Bear Essentials) to $ 11 (Beary Best package) w/​tax for about a 3 minute trip through their robo-​mop tunnel.
Each time I’ve used this facility my vehicle has emerged looking much better than it had going in, but each time I’ve also noticed several dirty spots and streaks after the wash. I don’t really expect perfection for a $ 5 automated car wash, but it kinda makes me look forward to longer days and warmer weather when I can do a proper job myself.

This location recently went through a remodel and now things are a bit goofy.
They added a ‘self-​wash’ as well as the drive-​thru which was always there. They changed the entrance to just one side vs. both sides of the street.
There was quite a line as it was a beautiful day yesterday. All the cars were out trying to get a wash in.
Overall, an average Brown Bear. It gets most the dirt & grime off but about $ 8 for a ‘beary good’ wash.
