Cham Korean BBQ Buffet

Cham’s Korean BBQ has a nice selection of meats, some marinated, others not. The sides are decent and the service is above average. Only complaint is the size of the restaurant. This place has only about 6 booths, so having a large party wouldn’t be possible unless people sat separately. There is always a long wait as well, due to the limited space.

First meal when I moved here — good choice!
Note that this place is always packed! Prepare to wait at least half an hr. I love that it’s buffet — so you don’t have to wait on anyone to bring you your meat. The price was pretty good too, not too outrageously expensive for an all you can eat.
Choices are a little more limited than what I’m used to, but they cover all the classics. Staff are super nice!

Small restaurant but the food, price, music ESPECIALLY the service was great!!! They were very attentive. The food is served buffet style which is nice but don’t get too much food they’ll charge if there’s any leftovers. I’ll definitely be back.

I’ve never been to a self serve Korean bbq restaurant before so this was a first. The service and food was exceptional. It’s a great deal and a lot of people who visited were returning customers. The restaurant is small so seating is limited which is the only downfall. We were told we’d be seated shortly then another couple walked in after and was immediately seated. We were told that they called in their reservation, so be sure to do that if you visit. The restaurant was clean and the food was perfect!

The selection of meats is good, and I totally dig their Ssamjang. I’m a big fan of fermented tofu, yeah I know that sounds bad to some. They are attentive, and really nice.
Do not come here if you are in a hurry or by yourself, I’ve never waited less than 30 minutes and upwards of 1 hour and the restaurant requires at least 2 people.
It’s a buffet and all you can eat. This is a good place to hang with some friends, on a date, or with the family (if you don’t have a big one). The place is small, and would fit 4 comfortably or 6 a little tight. I would come here again, but this is not the place for a party.

Had dinner for the first time here with my husband. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Unfortunately, they didn’t have a wider range of ban chan and meat like other KBBBQs I’ve been to in the past. Still, I will definitely return.

Not only is the food top notch, but they genuinely care about their customers. Best Korean bbq and amazing customer service. We love going and even though it is small and can often have a wait, it is totally worth the time!!!

I was taking someone who has never had Korean BBQ before — so after many many Unilocal searches, I decided on Cham Korean BBQ Buffet and boy, am I glad that we went there! We made the drive from Seattle all the way to Tacoma to try this out. We arrived around 5pm on a Sunday evening and we were told the wait was about an hour. Normally, this would be an issue but this gave us enough to really work up our appetite for the AYCE option. Definitely expect to wait a bit or put your name down and come back (but they will skip you if you aren’t back by the time they call your name). No reservations either.
The whole establishment has about 7 booths and you can fit about 4 people per booth. Unlike typical kbbq establishments where the servers bring you plates of each type of meat that you request, you have the flexibility to go up and grab any type of meat at any quality. Same goes for the side dishes. Note: charging for left overs apply to both meats and side dishes (so do not load up on anything if you aren’t planning on it eating it all).
We tried all the meats except for the beef intestines. Our favorites: brisket, beef bulgogi and the pork bulgogi but wasn’t disappointed by anything at all. Overall, a great selection to choose from. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to have some good KBBQ in the Seattle area!

Wouldn’t sit 4 adults with 4 kids at 2 separate tables because we didn’t meet minimum of 2 adults per table… yet we did meet minimum requirement. Young man who explained this was also very arrogant. Good looked good though, can’t say same for hospitality…

Go here with my friends last weekend. The best Korean bbq buffet in my life. So good. I also love fish tofu a lot. All are buffet with no limitation. I definitely will go again If i have chance.

Im a regular here and the food is always nicely cut and laid out. The bean sauce is homemade and goes really well with the bacon. The service is great but i wish the place wasnt so good because it gets crowded at times and Ive had to settle for other places. Great for groups of 4. They can seat more but you will not be seated together because the tables are fixed to the floor for ventilation.

This place is amazing!!! My only regret is that I didn’t start coming here two years earlier.

Hands down the best Korean BBQ food I’ve ever eaten. Went here for the first time with a party of 5 on Saturday evening. The wait time was long (over 1 hour), but it was well worth the wait.
There are two sections of food from the buffet: one for side dishes and one for food to cook on the grill (mainly meat and a couple vegetables). There is a large assortment of meats, but our favorites were samgyeopsal (pork belly) and bulgogi (marinated beef). In addition, we tried the beef brisket, pork jowl, and spicy chicken which was also good. The fish cake from the side dishes side was also very tasty.
The staff was great. Checked on us often if we needed more drinks or rice. The waiter gave us one check and had no problem splitting the bill at the register.
All in all this was a fantastic experience. Expect to wait as this is a small restaurant (only 7 tables), but expect to leave happily full of delicious food in your belly. Would recommend to a friend who enjoys eating a lot.

The only downfall of this place is that it has just 7 tables. 5 that can fit 4 – 6 people and 2 that can fit 2 – 3 people. Other than that, the food is great and the service is so kind.
A family of 4 paid for me and my other half’s bill last night. We let them get seated before us, but nonetheless, the act of kindness made us feel so blessed. It has replaced all the unkindness that we have experienced in the past. We can’t express how thankful our hearts are. Thank you so much and God bless! Oh my scrumptious deliumptious! This is by the far the best K BBQ I’ve had in a while. I also make this stuff at home, so trust me when I say this place is a must try.
It’s small and the selection of food is limited. Every item is good. The only thing that wasn’t all that was their soup. The pork jow is something new to me and I’ll keep coming back for it. Their bulgogi is another favorite. I love this place.

The facilities are NOT NICE.

Small place. Had to wait half an hour on a Sunday night for two people. I didn’t love it as much as most others seem to have per their reviews. It was decent. It’s probably as good as it gets in the washington area. The price is very good though at $ 17.99 for all you can eat Korean BBQ. There’s a 70 min limit to eating here. Not a huge problem for me personally.
I normally love pork jowl. The one here were huge and ended up tasting like regular bacon more so. It was still pretty tasty but not what I am used to. The beef brisket was also pretty good. Everything else was just ok. For the price point, I think this place is worth it. Just not super duper wowing but it is good. I would come again if I was close by, but definitely not worth the drive just to eat here.

Be careful! You grille your own food, and if you’re very tall, you need to watch out not to touch
the grille under the table with your legs; it can scald.
Be careful! You get to pick your own meats in a meat bar, true buffet style. And there’s a ban chan bar too. The meats, both marinated and straight up, are good quality. Very very bad for diets.
The kicker: the price: $ 17.99 for all you can eat?! Dinner?! Wow… that’s an unbelievably good price.

I came on a Sunday at around 530pm and the place was full. The restaurant only has about 6 – 7 tables. Luckily, I only had to wait about 10 minutes before a table opened up. We first tried a little bit of everything they had to offer to see what we liked. I preferred the beef bulgogi the most out of all the meats since it was well marinated. The chicken was also pretty decent, but it took longer to cook.
I personally went with the no rice strategy and minimal sides to eat more meat. They provided plenty of lettuce wraps to go with the meat. At the end of the meal, I ate a bit of rice and the seaweed and potato sides to fill me up. For $ 17.99 at dinner time, I thought this place was a good balance between quality and price.
On the wall it states there is a 70 minute limit. I couldn’t tell if they meant 70 minutes worth of gas or if they would kick you out after 70 minutes.
